He found Aleksei's bitch. He discovered his enemy's girlfriend.

He was surprised once he saw who it was, but Giovanni knew she was a two-faced bitch when he first saw her.

Giovanni knew she would go against Chanel's back. She was supposed to be her friend, turned out she was using them, all of them.

She was sent to spy on us instead. Giovanni knew the second she quickly handed herself over to get kidnapped that it was all a trick.

Aleksei was good, but Giovanni was better.

The worst part was that Aleksei knew about Chanel. He knew, and he would come for her, now that he was planning on taking his girlfriend.

He heard it all from the traitor.

Valeria.

With her blonde hair and blue eyes, he remembered her. She used Tobias and went against us. He wasn't going to let her go.

He would get answers out of her, but first, he had a ball to get ready for with the most beautiful girl.

He got dressed in his formal black suit and white dress shirt to go underneath. He held a red rose corset to give Chanel to wear for the gala. He was thrilled to see her in the silk dress he bought her.

Once they get to the ball. They're welcome with a million faces. They're all unfamiliar to Chanel, but Giovanni knew every single one of them.

There were people on the glossy dance floor and there are people sitting at their assigned tables.

Chanel felt overwhelmed. Although she would have to go to many different functions her whole life. She couldn't help, but feel a rush of nerves in her body.

"Sorry, I have to go to the ladies room," Chanel told Giovanni before sauntering away from him. He looks so furnished in his suit and tie. She loved seeing him like that.

His phone beeped, he fished it from out of his pocket. The text read,

Meet me outside in 5!

- Chanel

He looked at his phone, suspicious as to why Chanel would send him a text like that. She just excused himself to go to the lady's room.

He made his way out of the banquet hall only to be met with someone else.

Hillary.

What was she doing out here? Hillary was faced away from him. She wore a black silicone dress and her light brown hair was up in a ponytail.

Hillary turned around and noticed Giovanni, her eyes lit up.

"Hi, baby," Hillary called him. Her tone was possessive and greedy. "When I heard that you were going out with preppy princess, I couldn't believe it."

"What do you want?" Giovanni snarled. He knew what she was playing at. A game.

Her lips raised up in a Cheshire Cat smile. Her eyes crinkled as she let out a coldheartrd laugh.

"Oh come on," she whined. She walked towards Giovanni, placing a hand on his chest. "I know you miss me."

Giovanni pulled her hands away from him. "Miss you? Please, Hillary you're delusional." He rolled his eyes at her desperate behaviour.

She pulled herself back to him. She stood on her tippy toes and raised her lips so that they were close to his. "I can please you in ways that Ms. Rich Girl couldn't, and you know it. She's way out of your league, she wouldn't love a useless murderer like you, but I will."

She sounded psychotic. He felt her hot breaths against him and as he was about to push her away, she slammed her glossy lips against his.

He immediately pushed away, making Hillary stumble back a few steps. He looked at her, his eyes full of anger.

"What the fuck did you do?" He snarled at her.

"I let that bitch know who's mine," Hillary told him. Her eyes glistened with innocence, though he knew they were full of schemes. He heard footsteps and turned away from Hillary.

Chanel.

He caught a glimpse of her dress and noticed she witnessed the kiss. He cursed himself for falling into Hillary's trap. He was going to deal with Hillary later, right now he had to explain to Chanel.

He chased after her. Hillary was right though she couldn't love a murderer like him. He was no good.

He saw Chanel, but what he saw next made him freeze. She was dancing with someone else.

Her bright eyes stared deep into Giovanni's, he could tell they were glistened with tears. He had hurt her and it wasn't even his fault. She swayed her body against the stranger and he immediately felt angry.

She wanted to play that game, then that is the game she was going to play. He saw Hillary behind him and grabbed her. He moved along her and grinder against her.

Everyone was on the dance floor, so it wasn't unusual that they were competing against each other.

Chanel narrowed her eyes at him and shuffled down the stranger. Her eyes locking with his the whole time. She pulled her hands down her body and she swayed against the guy.

Giovanni felt his eyes harden, his glare was cold and directed at Chanel.

Once the song finished Chanel pushed herself from the guy and walked past Hillary and Giovanni.

Giovanni immediately followed Chanel. He caught up to her and pulled at her arm.

"What the fuck was that?" He asked Chanel. She rolled her eyes.

"Oh please, I saw you, Giovanni, don't even bother explaining because I don't care, I was just a game to you after all, wasn't I?" She shouted at him.

Chanel stared at him. He was silent. She looked down at his hands holding her arm. "I just don't understand how you could tell me you love me, but go kiss other girls like I don't matter," Chanel said quietly. "Tell me, Giovanni, do you want me or not? Don't waste my time anymore than you already had, I'm done with your games."

She pulled away from Giovanni's grasp. Her heels pattered against the glossy floors as she walked away from him.

"Wait," Giovanni pulled her back to him. Her body touching his. He forgot how much he craved her. "I got a text saying that you were outside, why the fuck would I kiss her voluntarily?" Giovanni pushed a stand of her dark brown hair away from her face. "Did you see the part where I pulled away from her right away. Do you think I would get back with her when I get to have you, all of you."

Chanel stared at him. She left before he even got the chance to pull away. What she saw was enough to guess what was going to happen.

"I need air, we'll talk about this later, right now I need to breathe . . . away from you," she told Giovanni. He was iffy on letting her go, but he didn't say anything. She took the silence as an answer and ran away. She took off her designer red bottom Louboutin heels and ran away from him.

He ran his hands through his hair in distress. He already explained himself there's nothing he could do expect hope Chanel realizes the truth.

"You look wonderful, Ms. Blanchett," an older

aged woman in the bathroom complimented me.

She wore a long black dress and a chiffon shawl. Her hair was black had streaks of white throughout her scalp. That's what old age does to you.

I take a deep sigh in the mirror and brushed away a curly loose strand that feel from my astonished up-do.

"Do you really think so?" I asked the woman. I never felt conscious of my looks before. I knew I was gorgeous, it was my only good quality growing up, but something about seeing everything tonight that makes me aware of my physical appearance.

Everyone here looks wonderful as well.

"Please, you're the most beautiful one out there, it also helps that you have someone as good looking as Giovanni by your side," the lady reassured.

Giovanni was perfect, but she wanted to shine on her own. She didn't want a man to make her more attractive.

"Thank you, but I don't need a man to prove I'm beautiful," I told her. I didn't mean to come off as snobby, but I was more than a man's woman.

"Of course, but it will help you in the future," she explains to me.

I didn't want to listen to her anymore. I exited the bathroom without uttering a word to her.

She scoffed to herself, "What a rude young lady." I rolled my eyes. I wasn't going to stay another second to hear her talking about me.

I scurried past everyone, trying to find Giovanni. Many people greeted me and I politely greeted them back, but my mind was somewhere else.

Where could Giovanni have gone too?

I slipped through the back entrance of the building and saw the back of Giovanni's black suit. I ran up to him as he looked out into the little pond with a stone fountain shooting water in it.

I placed my hands on his back, but gasped once I realized what he was doing.

He was kissing someone else, his lips against hers and I felt my heart drop.

It was just a kiss, it probably didn't mean anything. Maybe it was a mistake. If that was it then how come he hasn't pulled away from her yet.

I was right to be self conscious about my looks in the mirror. Apparently I wasn't good enough for someone like Giovanni. I was probably holding him down by not giving him what he wanted.

What everyone wanted me for.

Now he was finding it in someone else. I close my eyes and gave them one last glance before fleeing the scene.

I couldn't believe Giovanni would do this to me?

Memories of my dad flooded into my vision. He was on his desk with the blonde woman with his lips on hers, someone who wasn't mother.

I never thought Giovanni would do the same to me. I hear footsteps behind me and an arm pull on me. I turn to face the person. Everything was blurry, I couldn't take everything in.

I looked at the glass windows back in the building and see people enjoying themselves. They were dancing.

If Giovanni thought it was okay for him to be with another girl, then I was going to give him a taste of his own medicine.

I rushed into the ball and knew Giovanni was following behind me.

I grabbed a glass of champagne from a waiter serving them on a silver plate and gulped it down. If I was going to do this I needed to have a little bit of alcohol in my system.

I danced with someone else.

The guy gripped my waist as I started to grind on him. This was a low point for me. I felt disgusted with myself, but Giovanni made me do crazy things.

I continue to move our bodies together with the musics until it stopped. Then I left but wanting to face Giovanni's wrath, but it came anyway.

•••

I ran away from him. After hearing what he had to say, I needed to just be away from him.

He said he was waiting for me, but I didn't know where he was.

Someone probably did this to mess with me.

I finally make it out of the banquet, and take a deep breath. I didn't think tonight was going to end up like this.

I wanted to give Giovanni a chance. I wanted it to work.

Maybe everything will work out, but right now I wanted to be away from everything. The banquet, the people, the pressure, and especially Giovanni and that girl.

He threw everything I could give him away, just to kiss another girl. I could easily give him a kiss if that's all he wanted.

I didn't want to think about this anymore. I walk on the sidewalk and slowly start to see the building fade further away from my vision.
