It's only been a few minutes and I'm dreading the new me. I've tried to wear sweatpants and a shirt of my brothers, but I couldn't get out of the room.

I was too anxious to see what they will think of me. I be never been this careless about myself, but that's how Valeria dressed like, so I figured they will like me more if I wore this.

I have never dealt with anyone who didn't like me, except for Giovanni, of course.

Most people wanted to be me or with me, I haven't had to deal with any in between. I didn't want there to be an in between.

I slowly walked down the stairs, not feeling as confident as I should. I have never thought that being popular and having good fashion would ever be something people were not like about me.

I saw them all at the kitchen table, talking to each other. They looked so happy without me.

I have never felt so self conscious in my life. I really hate it.

"Chanel?" I heard a surprised voice ask. "What are you wearing?" Tobias snickered.

Great, they are making fun of me, just like I thought.

I felt tears in my eyes and I ran out of there. I slammed the bathroom door and screamed.

They all rushed towards the bathroom since I could hear their footsteps and knocking at the door.

"Chanel?" Luke asked, softly. "What is this about?"

He sounded so concerned. I choked on sobs.

"I'm too perfect," I wailed. "I'm sorry. I thought you guys would like me more if I wasn't so dressed up, but I just, I don't feel so confident."

"Is this about what I said, Chanel?" I heard Valeria ask on the other end of the door.

I sniffled. I wiped my tears and looked in the mirror. I tried wearing no makeup either and I could see the dark circles under my eyes.

"You changed and I thought that if I had, you guys would take me seriously," I explained.

"Chanel, you don't have to change, alright?" Chanel assured.

I unlocked the door and looked up at her. My eyes were tearful. I hugged her.

"Can we stop fighting?" I asked in her shoulder.

She nodded her head. "Of course we can."

"Now, get out of this horrid outfit, it's my style," she said. She shook my brothers shirt.

"Are you wearing my clothes?" Derrick asked.

"Yes, and I hate them," I said. "Let me go change. Now, will you guys stop ignoring me?" I asked, softly.

"We never ignored you," Grae said.

"It felt like it," I spoke, quietly.

Tobias hugged me. "We didn't mean for it to feel that way," he said. "You look better like yourself. You don't need to change, okay?"

"Even though you can be a stuck up, snobby bitch," Grae added.

I glared at him from Tobias's embrace. He quickly corrected himself. "I said 'can', it doesn't mean you are."

"Nice save," Luke gave him a high-five. Grae immediately retracted his hand.

"Don't do that again," he said, crudely.

I laughed. "Thank you guys."

I walked up to my room and changed. I finally felt myself in a dress and a pair of heels.

I excitedly approached the gang with a big smile on my face. "Glad your back," Valeria told me.

"Same," I let out a breath of relief.

"Giovanni! Make us food!" Tobias yelled. Giovanni was in his office, doing his usual gang leader things.

Giovanni charged into the kitchen with an angry expression. "Make it yourself," he growled.

"No, you make the best food," Tobias complimented, sweetly.

He grunted and started to make something.

"You missed it," Grae said. "Chanel just came downstairs in sweatpants."

"She came down in something other than a slutty dress?" He asked, unenthusiastically. He was bored. "I'll believe it when I see it."

"I'm sick of the insults!" I exclaimed. "I am not a slut."

I looked at the gang for reassurance. "I'm not a slut, right guys?"

They didn't have convincing looks on their face.

"Wow," I choked out. "You guys, too?"

They didn't even know what I've been through. Valeria and Derrick knee and they are agreeing with him.

"When have I ever had sex with multiple people. When have I ever had sex?" I shouted.

"Well," Derrick started.

But I cut him off, tears in my eyes.

"That didn't count," I yelled. I brought my voice lower. "That didn't count."

The tears fell down my face. I couldn't believe Derrick would act so artlessly about it.

I ran up to my room and slammed the door. I could picture their faces with surprised looks on them. I dropped to the floor and my body racked with sobs.

He did that. He brought the pain back to her. He knew she wasn't a slut. That was just it. She wasn't. She was perfect, it was hard to find insults about her.

Every time she would cry, he would feel something in his chest. He knew what it meant, but he refused to believe, so he would take it out in her. He would insult her and threaten her, but never gone through with them.

He knew he had to fix it, but he didn't know how. He knew he would always mess everything up with her. She was just too good for him.

He knew that.

He would ruin the light in her eyes, the kindness in her words. He would destroy her.

Yet, he couldn't stay away. He was attracted to her, everyone was attracted to her.

As much as he didn't want to admit it he was jealous that her brother got her and he didn't.

He was always jealous of him and the fact that he could get her so easily, frustrated him.

He loved her dresses, he thought she looked stunning in them, especially in red. Her figure was so voluptuous any guy would fall at her feet. He didn't want to be that guy.

He just didn't want to admit that maybe, just maybe.

He was falling for her.
