He was glad she was back to her normal self. As much as he would never admit it. He missed her. He was worried about her when she found out about her mother.

All she would do was go down to the basement and train. She wouldn't stop until she got her father. He was scared she wouldn't be smart about it because whatever she had planned, her father would be two steps ahead of her.

He knew her father too well. He once tried to get back at him, but he was two steps ahead of him, making him lose the fight.

With the girl it would give him a chance to get back at him and be a few steps ahead of her father.

They had to think everything through.

He had a plan.

She want going to like it, but it would work. Everything would add up together in the end. Everything would be fine, or so he hoped it would be.

The car crash made him realize that his life could be finished in a minute. He realized how quick it was to take someone's life, he hadn't thought it would happen to him.

He always thought he knew everything about everything. He realized he was wrong.

Giovanni watched Chanel sleep in the hospital bed. He saw the scars on her face, the bandage wrapped around her head and he realized he'd done that.

He had hurt the girl.

The cuts faded and became scabs and scars. He stared at how peaceful she looked. He hadn't realized how beautiful she actually was. Her flawless skin flowed and her long eyes lashes touched her freckles cheeks as they were closed.

Her hair was smooth and silky. It fell perfectly over her shoulders when she was awake. It was dark brown and thickly lustrous. Even though it was untidy, it was beautiful and embraced her thin and unlined face.

He didn't know what this feeling was, but he simply hated it. He wanted to stuff into the deepest darkest hole and never see it again, but it kept popping out.

It was always there when she was around.

His car was currently at the shop and he was stuck with Derrick and Chanel. The rest of the gang was in the extra car.

It was a SUV van with darkened windows and black paint. It was spotlessly clean and everything about it was well taken care of.

Even though Chanel annoyed him, even though he hated her. She always found her way into his thoughts. He would always find herself thinking about her.

He didn't know how to handle it, so he took it out the wrong way. He took it out on her.

He was not used to this, he didn't know what to do, so he would prove his hate towards her. Who was he trying to proof it too, her or himself?

He would always have people fear him it was just who he was cut out to be. He'd never be a good guy. He was the baddest they would come to.

He wanted to change for her.

He felt he could change if she wanted him too and he didn't know how to handle that. He didn't want to.

He doesn't do anything about it.

"It's almost ready," Derrick said.

Chanel and Giovanni were sat outside of the shop while Derrick was inside taking care of the information. Since he was the best at handling cars.

He would work at a car retail store in his teenager years. Even though he was only nineteen, he had been working there since he could remember.

He would've fixed the car, if he had the right tools. He didn't, so they took it to the shop.

They would fix it there.

"Tell them to hurry up, we have a place to be," Giovanni ordered. He was always impatient when it came to things.

He wanted them to be done fast, but expected them to be quality worthy. It took time to be perfect, just ask Chanel.

"Guys, my feet hurt," Chanel complained.

She was wearing heels. They were left in his car and she had to get out of the horrid hospital gown they put her in. Talk about urgent fashion statement. Derrick happened to go back to their house and get her some clothes that were actually stated as fashion.

"Sit down," Giovanni suggested. His voice was stern and it sounded more like a command.

"I'm not sitting anywhere in this disgusting store," she exclaimed in disgust.

"Quit being a drama queen," Giovanni snapped.

"I'm not a drama queen, it's called being clean," Chanel talked back. Her voice held so much antipathy.

It sounded like it was pointed towards him.

"Well, you're being pretty fucking excessive," Giovanni growled.

She sighed. "Can I sit on you?" She asked, innocently. She batted her eyelashes and limped towards him.

She was wearing a short dress and it was a windy day. He was sure her dress would fly up.

He glared at her. His eyes cold. "No," he answered, simply.

She groaned. "Please," she urged. "Don't make me ruin my dress by sitting on the dirty bench."

"I said no." He shook his head and continued to wait impatiently for his car.

Chanel sighed. What did she expect? It was Giovanni after all.

She sighed again, in hope that he would get that she was annoyed with him. He ignored her. He wasn't going to fall for her tricks.

"Oh, come on, it won't be for long, just until I get my blood flowing in my feet again," she disclosed.

He took off his jacket and she took that as a sign that he was going to ignore her again.

She was going to turn around when she noticed him place the jacket on the bench. She beamed, happily and sat down in the jacket.

"Thank you," she simpered. The smile was evident on her face and it made her eyes sparkle.

He grunted in response.

Still, that's was an accomplishment to her. He had done something caring to her.

Maybe she was becoming his weakness.

The thing he feared most.

She was becoming it.

He couldn't let that happen from now on he would be his heartless self. The one that hated the soiled princess he kidnapped.

He wasn't going to change for anyone, not even her.
