I had taken another nap shortly after Katsuki left.

When I woke up, I felt much better and decided to go watch some fights.

I wouldn't want to miss any more of the event.

When I collect my things and open the door to leave, I saw a lot of my classmates outside of Recovery Girl's office, and the door slams on them.

They seemed worried.

"Um... hey guys, what's the matter?" I question and walk to them.

"Hi Lin, I'm so glad you're okay." Ochaco chimes up and hugs me.

"We tried to visit you but you were asleep." Tsu mentions.

"To answer your question Midoriya was just about to get surgery for his injuries!" Tenya says.

"Surgery!" I exclaimed.

The door then opened and Recovery Girl popped her head out. "You kids should get back to the stadium you are all too loud." Then she enters her office again.

We walk back to the class audience seats.

Surgery? What happened?

We get to our seats and I sit by Mina. When she noticed me, she grew excited and hugged me.

Before I knew it, my classmates had surrounded me and began asking me questions about my fight with Katsuki.

I kind of forgot I used all the elements.

"Why didn't you say anything about your quirks!"

"I never knew you had four quirks."

"Your parents must be powerful heroes!"

"Yeah! They both must have two quirks for you to inherit four!"

oh...well...

"Um... actually-" I started.

But the booming sound of Present Mic's voice cut me off, announcing the next fight.

It's Kastuki and Kirishima's fight.

"I'll answer questions later. Let's focus on our classmates okay?" I suggest.

Surprisingly, they backed off. I sighed in relief, I did feel a little overwhelmed. I don't expect this to be the only instance of questioning.

The school has been told everything by the sages but I think I bit off more than I can chew with rushing into my "Avatar responsibilities" once I understand what that even means.

Izuku walks in as they were approaching the arena. He expressed that he was glad he didn't miss it.

"Izuku! How are you doing? What happened?" I bombarded him with questions.

"Oh! I-it was nothing. I just had to motivate Todoroki to use his left side." He says.

"Yeah! He burst this huge flame and then there was an explosion!" Mina chimes in.

"He has fire?" I asked.

"I guess he isn't the only one with extra quirks huh?" Izuku chuckles a little.

Then the fight between Katsuki and Kirishima began.

It was now down to two.

The final battle of the sports festival.

I was heading to Shoto's waiting room to wish him luck, but as I approached, I heard a crash and Katsuki yelling.

The door opens and he looked pretty angry.

"Whoa, bad pep talk?" I asked as I stepped to the side.

"What are you doing here? To talk to half and half?" He asks very rudely.

"Well I was going too wish my friends luck one by one but since you both are here, I wish you good luck on the final match!" I respond.

"I DON'T NEED YOUR LUCK!" Katsuki shouts. I flinch at the loudness of him.

I guess he still wasn't in the best mood today. He stormed off after the outburst.

Shoto stands in the door frame and gives a small bow.

"I appreciate the encouragement Lin. I have been in my thoughts since my battle with Midoriya. It is nice to receive kind words from a friend." He says.

"It's really no problem-" I was cut off when the announcement for the fighters to head to the arena rang.

"I guess it's time to go." I said looking at the speaker. I looked back at Shoto, "Good luck, a-again heh." I give him a quick hug and headed to the audience stand.

I took my seat and the fight began.

As usual, Katsuki was angry and won, but he seemed unhappy about winning. Shoto was KO'ed and Katsuki wouldn't stop shouting at him. He had to be knocked out my Ms. Midnight.

There was a break before the winner ceremony for them to wake up again.

"Man, that battle was intense!" Mina expressed to me.

"I think they were all intense, everyone was giving it their all in the fights" Tsu mentioned.

"Yeah, even Lin had a few tricks up her sleeve. Three more quirks is an incredible thing to hide. I'm surprised you didn't win your battle." Yaoyorozu chimed in.

"Yeah...heh. Well I just need more training with them I guess." I responded.

It was time for the awards ceremony and I decided to go the the entrance of the arena to greet Katsuki after the awards are handed out.

The platforms began rising and I smile. It's an exciting thing to have your friend as the winner of the UA sports festival.

But as the platforms continued to rise, my excitement fell.

Katsuki was retrained to the podium, flailing around. Muzzled. Like a rabid animal.

How could anyone think this was okay?!

Then All Might comes up and does the reward ceremony like there wasn't a student literally chained up in front of him.

I felt anger bubble up inside of me.

He put the metal in Katsuki's mouth! Because he refused the metal.

I grew furious.

The ground began to quake as my anger grew and my vision started to go blank. But then I heard a voice, Korra's voice, echo in my head. "Y/n! Calm down! Don't let your emotions get too intense!"

When I heard that, my vision began to come back and the ground stopped shaking. I blinked a few times and took a few deep breaths.

Was that.....

I looked back up to where Katsuki was and he had been unchained and calmer but her was still fuming.

We all were sent back to our classrooms and Mr. Aizawa told us we will be excused for the next two days before sending us home.

Katsuki was silent while we were putting on our shoes and even when we started walking home. The silence was not the usual comfortable one.

"Katsu-"

"Don't." He bluntly says, glaring forward.

"Look, I know you must be upset about the ending of the festival-"

"I could give a fuck less about that!" He exclaims. He stops walking and glares at me, "You have the nerve to hide three quirks from me. After I let you be my friend! Even you think I'm weak! You-"

"Oh give me a break Katsuki!" I cut him off, "My powers are not related to how strong I think you are! I had a reason to hide them and today was my decision to stop it. I never once thought you were too weak for my powers, you literally beat me when i used them. So quit thinking that everyone is trying to make you feel less than because of their personal choices!" I ranted.

We stood there in silence for a moment before i took a deep breath and spoke in a quieter voice. "I don't think of you as less than, I just care about you." I make eye contact with him.

He paused once i said that. Then he huffed and sharply turned before begining to walk again.

We walked in silence again. It was still tense but I felt his anger temorarily die down.

We reached my house and he waited for me to go inside like he usually does. I placed my hand on the gate and turned back to Katsuki.

"Hey, since we have the next two days off. Why don't we go hang out somewhere tomorrow? You know, to unwind and calm down from today's events." I asked. He didn't respond. I sighed and began walking to my door. When I was halfway there, he spoke up.

" When?" He asks, refusing to make eye contact with me.

"I was thinking in the evening. So there will be enough time for rest from today. Is that okay?" I asked. He seemed a little upset about that but he agreed with the time.

"Great! Then it's a date!" I blurted out. Then I grew flustered at what I said, "I-I mean you know...not 'dating' date. I didn't mean-I'm just gonna- Have a good evening!" I stutter and quickly enter my house. I've never been this flustered before; I've never acted like this before.

But once I collected myself, I took off my shoes and walked into the living room. It was dark which wasn't normal. Usually my parents would be watching the T.V.

"Mom? Dad?" I switched on the light and my parents jumped out from behind the couch.

"SURPRISE!!" They shout.

They had set up a celebration dinner with some decorations.

My parents bothe squeezed me in a hug.

"You were amazing sweetie!" My mom exclaimed.

"I didn't know you could get even cooler!' My dad says.

"Now come on! Lets eat the special celebration dinner and talk all about the festival!" My mom ushers my dad and I to the dining table.

After dinner, my parents insisted I go to bed and rest instead of helping with cleaning.

When I get changed into my pajamas a late realization hit me.

Did I just ask Katsuki out on a date?
