No. Since I count Korra as cannon, Korra is the only avatar the reader will have contact with.
Most likely not. I had done that before as a little reference to the franchise not actual plot points.
It's probably safe to say that they all died out and reverted to "regular" animals. But perhaps you might find an ancient animal.....
