I walked to school on my own. I used that time to think about my decision.

I thought about how I would tell everyone. How would Kastuki react? 

I shook my head at the thought. I didn't feel like imagining Katsuki upset with me. but with the reaction he had with Izuku, I'm sure I'll get a similar reaction.

I reach my class and sit down. One of my classmates approached me. 

"Hey there! I'm Mina Ashido!" She says in a cheerful tone. 

"Oh good morning, Y/n Lin,i sa" I respond with a smile. I quickly took notice of her appearance. She looked so cool.

She took a seat in front of me and faced me. She started having a simple conversation with me. "So how did you and that grumpy guy become friends?" she asks, " He seems to scare everyone off" She laughs. 

"Oh, uh.....I accidentally hit him with my quirk." I say. Mina starts laughing. Just then I see Katsuki walk in. "Speak of the devil.." I mumble and stand to wave at him. 

He looks at me and rolls his eyes but I receive a quick wave back before he sits at his desk. 

Did he....wave at me?

I sat back down and continued to talk with Mina. I hear some others ask if we think Mr. Aizawa is alright. 

When the bell rings, everyone gets into their seats and the class door opens. I was expecting a substitute but it was Mr. Aizawa! 

As everyone expresses their confusion he tells us that there was something more important than his injuries. I could feel the room go tense as everyone wonders if something worse has happened. 

A sports festival? 

Right after a villain attack? 

We were explained that it is a very special event that will put our skills to the test and scouts from agencies will be there and whatnot.

Everyone seems to forget about the attack from yesterday and just focus on the festival. I guess we should move on, if we're gonna be heroes we'll have to deal with villains every day anyway. 

I took a deep sigh as I decide to go with my classmates and focus on the upcoming festival........and my reveal. 

I'm standing in line for lunch and I hear a voice from behind me.

"What are you sighing about?" Kastuki says in his usual tone. Lately, he's attempted more and more at regular conversations. So even though he still sounds rude, it's nice he's trying to be more of a friend. 

"I'm just shocked that the sports festival is so soon." I respond.

"Well, you just gotta deal with it. Doesn't even matter anyway, I'm gonna win." He says confidently.

"Oh really? Well now I'll just have to win." I respond in a challenging tone.

"HAH! Keep dreaming! No way you can beat me!" he says and slightly gets in my face. I lean back and cross my arms with a grin.

"We'll just have to see about that." I tease. Then I decide to do something dangerous. 

I booped him. Then ran. 

Screw the food. I'm now in danger. 

I run out of the cafeteria, laughing as I hear Katsuki shouting.

But I really am hungry....

We manage to get past the students that were blocking our way. Apparently, they were the other class and they came to trash talk us or something.

Jeez people are too intense here. 

Katsuki did nothing but anger them more with his headstrong attitude. 

I put on my shoes and close my locker. Katsuki waits for me at the door.

"Jeez could you be any slower?" He asks. 

I grab my bag and jog to him. "Well sorRY I like to tie my shoes rather than just slipping them on," I respond.

He scoffs again and we begin walking home. I decided eventually not to reveal myself today. I feel like the perfect time would be at the festival. Since thousands of people will be watching.

I don't know how I will train though. I barely know how to use my powers. I have two weeks to figure it out. 

Seems like Katsuki wasn't up for a conversation this time. He just seemed in thought. I guess it's only reasonable. 

He drops me off with a small "Bye" and continues on his way.

I go to bed that night wondering how can I do this on my own. 

The last image I see is the statue on my nightstand. 

If only I had a mentor to teach me......

I feel sleep take over and my thoughts clear.

There was a humming.

A low humming. 

I was awoken in the dead of night by it.

I don't know how but I felt like I needed to check under my house. I get up and carefully go to my small backyard.

I open up the bunker I made but never used, and entered. 

The humming was louder and I was able to feel the floor beneath me vibrate a little.

I found the spot in which the humming was more intense and carefully removed the earth there.

As soon as I did there was a huge burst of light that filled the entire small space.

I shielded my eyes and when the light died down I looked at it and was in shock. 

There was what looked like a portal right in front of me. I imagine if it wasn't in such a small place, the beam of light would go up to space. 

"Wh-What is this?" I mumble to myself. Just then something came out of it.

It looked to be a small creature of which I've never seen. 

It looked like a koi fish but it also had small wings and a longer back fin. It was transparent and was a cyan type color. 

I backed away slightly and it fluttered closer to me. Then it went back into the beam of light. 

I don't know why but I decided to follow it.

I walked up to it and placed my hand into it first. I felt such a rush of energy that caused me to pull back out of surprise. 

Then I stepped in. 

The light blinded me for a second, and then everything cleared up. 

I was in what looked to be a field. The surroundings were bright and colorful. Creatures flew around in a spiral around me and disappeared into the sky. The Koi fish looking one stayed behind and continued to flutter around me.

I let out a giggle at how cute it was.

"You finally made it." I hear a voice say from behind me.

I turned to see a woman. She had short bobbed hair, tan skin, and piercing blue eyes. 

She seemed familiar. 

The statue!

She held out her hand and gave me a friendly grin. "Nice to meet you." She said.
