Rehab's

I was feeling like a weary traveller who has lost his way.

Who don't know where to go.

I closed my eyes praying from my Allah to save my wife and send her back.

When I was engrossed in my prayers I heard a melodious giggle and suddenly my whole body which got damp ago with worries, filled up with life.

I turned towards the sound and I felt like my heart is going to jump out of my chest.

There she was standing playing with rabbits.

I ran towards her.

"Tooba!!"

I quickly hugged her tightly not wanting to lose her again.

"Ahh! Rehab you are suffocating me!!"

She said muffing.

"Sorry! Where did you go? Are you mad? Do you have any idea how worried I was? But no! Why you will think about me. You just want to roam around. Other person even can die looking for you but no! Let him die! You enjoy."

I burst on her in frustration.

She heard my outburst silently.

"I ... I just came to leave this rabbit at his home. He lost his way."

She said pointing at the little cage of rabbits.

"Whatever!!"

I said rolling my eyes.

"Sorry!!"

She whispered and I turned my back at her.

When I didn't hear from her for more than two minutes I turned around but she was not there.

"Tooba!! Where did she go now?"

I felt someone pating my shoulder.

I spun around and saw her kneeling in front of him with a rose in her hand.

She stretched rose in front of me.

"I am sorry Rehab G!"

She said with a toothy grin.

I felt my anger fading away and a smile made its way to my lips.

I took rose from her hand and held her hand and made her stood up.

"Its OK. But don't do this again.I was worried like hell."

I said kissing her knuckles and she smiled.

Next moment she was in my arms hugging me.

There was no crowd at this side of park hopefully.

"So no mood of visiting the park?"

I asked puting my chin on her scrafed head.

"No!"

She said shooking her head.

"Then?"

I asked her.

She was about to say something when I felt a slight weight on my foot.

We both looked down.

Next moment we both were giggling.

There was a cute white rabbit playing with the strings of my shoes.

I bent down and took it in my arms.

"Look Rehab he is so cute. You know I was on the verge of crying when I saw him wondering on road looking for his family."

She said pouting.

I smiled.

"Why not sit with them and watch sunset?"

I raised brow at her.

"I love you!! I was about to say the same"

She jumped in excitement.

We both sat on grass beside the cage.

One by one many rabbits came towards us.

I had two rabbits in my lap and tooba had three in her lap.

We both were caressing their smooth fur and playing with them.

"See! He is that's rabbit's brother and he is his best buddy. She is her sister and she is his friend."

She said pointing at all the rabbits one by one.

I looked at her in amusement.

"Seriously?? How do you know?"

I asked controlling my laugh.

"Oh ho I know everything. Look!

He is also their friend but he is too arrogant to play with us."

She said pouting while pointing at the one rabbit which was sitting at some distance from us alone but continuously looking at us.

I pecked her pout and she put her head on my shoulder.

"Yar Rehab!!"

She said sadly.

"G jaan-e-Rehab!!"

I said worriedly at her tone.

"I want to befriended with this cutie pie."

And I wanted to pull my hair out at the reason of her sadness.

I gave her a disbelieving look.

She didn't say anything but kept on caressing a rabbit in her lap.

"Wait!!"

I said and stood up placing the rabbits on grass.

She looked at me questioning.

"Coming."

She nodded and again lowered her head and started playing with rabbits.

"Tan tañaa!!"

I exclaimed sitting beside her.

"What?"

She raised brow and I stretched a bag ful of carrots in front of her.

"Yeyyy!!"

She exclaimed and took carrots from my hand and started feeding rabbits.

That arrogant rabbit stood up looking everyone eating but didn't come towards us.

Tooba looked at me and I looked at her.

"Don't worry!!"

She gave me an ensuring smile and dragged herself near that rabbit.

I also stood up and sat beside her.

"Dear cutie pie what's with you and this attitude? Look what I have for you. Your favourite carrot. Wanna eat?"

She stretched carrot in front of rabbit.

She was gave him her most pleading look.

I was looking at her in amusement.

"Look at that man!!"

She pointed at me and to my surprise that rabbit looked in my direction.

"He is Rehab Zaid Khan. The leader of most feared gang of the town. He is one of the most annoying, dangerous and arrogant creature on this earth but he is my husband and loves me a lot then why can't you be my friend?I bet you can't be free arrogant that him."

She was telling her story to rabbit like she was talking to some child.

I held my face in my palm with support of my elbow and started enjoying the cute drama in front of me.

She was so engrossed in talking.

"Yeyyy!!!"

I was brought out of my trance by Tooba's scream.

I looked at her getting alert.

"Look Rehab he took the carrot."

She was smiling showing her perfect set of teeth.

I looked at that rabbit who didn't have same attitudinal look on his face as before.

Tooba gave her hand to him and he held her hand and jumped in her lap.

"Yeyyyy!!! Finally!!"

She was laughing and playing with rabbits.

She kissed that rabbit.

I smiled at my success in making my childish wife smile.

She put her head on my shoulder and held my hand while caressing rabbits with other hand.

I looked at her and she passed me a breathtaking smile.

"Thank you so much for this cute friend!!"

"Anything for my love!!"

I kissed her temple and intertwined our fingers.

"You know I can't wait for the time when we both will be playing with our children like this in our laps."

I said looking at her and her cheeks went red and she lowered her gaze.

"Did I ever tell you that how breathtaking you look while blushing that I want to eat all of your these crimson strawberry cheeks?"

I laughed and bite her cheek and kissed it.

She punched my chest and hide her face inside my shirt.

I smiled and put my arms around her.

We kept sitting there and watched sunset.

After watching sunset when it started to get darker we put rabbits in their cage with remaining carrots and marched towards our car.

"You are not going anywhere. That's final!!"

Rehab said to Zaroon who was compelling to go to his home.

"I am ok yar!"

Zaroon said sitting.

"No means no and besides what will you do there whole alone? This is your room from a long time. It was waiting for you now stay here quietly."

Rehab said cutting him off.

He was very angry when he came to know that Zaroon fought with some robbers to save a lady from gettin robbed and got injured badly.

"Heard? I was telling him same thing since last hour but he being his over stubborn self not listening to me."

Haider rolled his eyes.

"Its clear! You are moving in here."

Yusha said.

"OK boss! I can't beat you dominating creatures!"

Zaroon joined his palms in front of them and they laughed.

"OK let's go to our rooms. Let him rest!"

Saim said and they three stood up.

"I am in a room next to you. If you need anything just call me and I will be here."

Haider said patting at Zaroon's shoulder.

Yusha, Saim, Zaroon and Rehab looked at him with amusement in their eyes.

"What??"

Haider asked raising brow.

"Nothing. Just we all know how of a dead body type sleep you have."

Rehab said and Saim and Yusha gave HiFi to each other laughing.

"Whatever!!"

Haider rolled his eyes and they all burst into laughter.

When everyone left zaroon lied on bed peacefully.

He was trying to sleep but sleep was no where to be seen.

He sat on bed frustrated.

He saw here and there and his eyes landed on ear plugs and phone.

He took his phone and insert ear plugs in it.

Soon Atif Aslam's melodious sound strike with his ears.

He closed his eyes and all the scenes of afternoon of neha unbottoning his shirt. Bandaging his wounds, her crying at his pain, her sleeping at his arm and him gazing at her flashed in front of his eyes.

He touched his wounds on chest and soon remembered her soft and caring touches.

A smile crept on his lips.

"Hal mera tujhy na pata!!"

Hr whispered looking at the moon who was peeking at him from window.

He smiled and closed his eyes whispering.

Neha was continuously tossing on her bed.

Sleep was far away from her eyes.

She sat up frustrated.

She went towards washroom and washed her face.

She was looking in mirror when her eyes landed on her left cheek.

She touched it unknowingly thinking about the moment when Zaroon wiped her tears.

A smile crept her lips.

She got out of her trance and saw herself smiling.

Again everything flashed in front of her eyes but this time her smile faded and tears started pooling up in her eyes.

She wiped water from her face and went out of washroom.

She moved towards her side table and took her diary and a pen from there and went in balcony of her room and sat on floor.

She opened her diary and started writing.

"Aaasma se kya khata hui

Taara uska toota ku

Log mjhse pouchty hain

Saath apna chuta Ku

She underlined those words,

Tum nhi ho mery!!

And write today's date at the side.

Tears slipped down to her cheeks and fell on the page just below the date

She closed her diary and looked at sky where moon was looking at these shattered hearts in his all glory.

"Tum nahi ho mery!!"

She whispered and pulled diary closer to her heart and closed her eyes.

"You are not for me!!"

"You are not mine!!"

She sighed.

They other were lost into each other's thoughts forgetting that the smiling moon and exciting stares were capturing every moment of their deep,

unconfessd and unknown love!!
