"I can't believe Chou Tzuyu was this shady. She didn't deserve Jeon Jungkook."
"Tzuyu was such a snake. Does anybody even care if she's dead now? Poor Yerim. Why be friends with someone that constantly uses you?"
"Tzuyu was always rude during fan signings. She never wanted to take pics."
"Since when did Rosé start making exposing videos? I came here to see ghosts."
"Chou Tzuyu is a ghost! Hahahahahaha! See what I did there?"
"Chou Tzuyu is cancelled!"
"No, Chou Tzuyu is dead."
"Thank you for showing us the truth, Rosé! I hope you find out who the killer is and I hope it isn't Jungkook!"
"Who else is shipping Rosé and Jungkook? RoseKook? KookSé?"
Jungkook smirked as he continued to read the comments on Roseanne's newest video.
Jaehyun looked over Jungkook's shoulder. "Is that Rosie's video?"
"Yeah."
"I haven't watched it but I gave it a thumbs up. Was it that good? Why do you look so happy?"
"I was reading the comments. Everyone has a lot to say about Tzuyu," Jungkook answered.
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
"A good thing. So far, no one is attacking me for faking my relationship with her. If anything, they're making me out to be some sort of victim."
"So," Jaehyun smiled. "Things are basically going according to your plan?"
Jungkook clicked away from the video and nodded. "Basically. Who knew Roseanne Park could be so helpful?"

"If I didn't know better, I'd swear someone put a curse on us," Roseanne muttered. She was walking into the police station where Mark was waiting. She found him in the waiting area, a cup of coffee in his hands. He looked much older than his twenty years. His eyes were bloodshot and his hair was messy as if he'd been recklessly pulling on it. His shirt had blood on it.
"Mark?" Roseanne whispered.
He looked up and a sob escaped his lips. Roseanne hurried to sit next to him. She placed an arm around him and squeezed.
"I'm so sorry, Mark," she had cried on the way over but she knew she had to be strong for her friend. "Have they caught who did it?"
"N-no," he answered. "Rosie, I was right there when it happened. I watched her die."
"Mark Lee?" Detective Bae Joohyun called out, her eyes widening when she saw Roseanne. "What are you doing here?"
"He's my roommate. Yuju was our friend," Roseanne answered.
"You do realize you're now connected to more than one murder, right?" Joohyun asked. "That can't be a coincidence."
Roseanne shrugged. "I can't help the fact that people are dying. I wish I could, but I can't. Before you continue to claim I'm a murderer, you should know something about Choi Yuju."

"What's that?"
"She was cousins with Chou Tzuyu. I found out a few days ago."
Joohyun's mouth fell slightly open. "That's huge news," Joohyun turned to Mark. "My partner said you didn't see the face of Yuju's murderer, is that right?"
"No, I only heard him. He sounded familiar but everything happened so fast..."
"He sounded familiar?" Roseanne repeated. "I sent Officer Chanyeol a video of our landlord Jisub at a pharmacy. He wanted some sort of ointment for bruises. What if he was the one who set the fire in our apartment and stabbed Yuju? What if he was the one who shot her?"
"Calm down Nancy Drew," Joohyun said, holding up a hand. "This is a job for the police to figure out."
"He kept shouting that she owed him money," Mark added. "I'm not sure for what but he was insistent that she owed him. He sounded like he was on something."
"How do you know what that sounds like?" Joohyun asked, suspiciously.
"I grew up in foster care," Mark answered. "My parents used to get the same way when they didn't get their fix. I know Yuju's apartment complex has cameras. Surely, someone caught whoever did this on tape."
"Those cameras were never working cameras," Joohyun said. "They were just used to scare possible intruders."
"What if he comes after Mark next?" Roseanne asked.
"We can't know for sure that he's targeted your friend," Joohyun said to Roseanne. "Where are you staying? I already know about your apartment fire."
"I was staying with Yuju," Mark said, tears threatening to fall again. "I was helping her because she was stabbed. I never thought someone was really trying to kill her."
"You mentioned someone named Jisub. I'll get with Officer Chanyeol to see if he has any additional information. In the meantime, pick up the phone if we call you," Joohyun ordered.
After she was gone, Roseanne turned to Mark. "Are you okay? We can go to the mansion. I already talked to Jungkook and the guys. They're cool with you staying with us."
"Us?" Mark snarled, disgust in his voice. "Since when did you become part of their group?"
"Them," Roseanne corrected herself. "I meant to say them."
Mark's eyes narrowed. "All you care about is YouTube, isn't it? Do you even cared that Yuju died?"
"Of course I care."
"Really? You're not even crying!"
"I already cried, Mark. Just because I wasn't in love with her like you, doesn't mean I don't care she's no longer alive."
"I'm sorry you had to come to the police station to come and get me. I know it must've taken time out of your day with the the Trinity."
"What are you talking about? You're my best friend."

"Am I? Ever since you made that video about Chou Tzuyu, all you've cared about is getting views again."
"That's not true."
"Yes, it is. I guessed it worked out. You've got millions of subscribers. That's all you've ever cared about. Even when we were teens, you'd say you were going to be a millionaire being a YouTuber."
"Mark, you know I don't make millions from YouTube. Hell, I don't even make hundreds. Or twenties."
"Because your greed screwed everything up. Ever since you went viral once, that's all that's ever been on your mind. Our lives have been ruined!"
Roseanne flinched. His words stung as though he had slapped her. "How have I ruined your life, Mark? I couldn't pay our rent with my YouTube earnings so we both had to work more time at Idle's. Is that what you mean? Or how we had to move into Jisub's apartment complex? How exactly have I ruined your life?"
"All of that and more, Rosie! Yuju was stabbed in our apartment. Someone broke in before and it had to do with you. You! You don't even realize your actions have consequences. Consequences that affected me."
Roseanne nodded. "Oh, I see. So, when I was doing well in YouTube that was fine and it was okay for you to be my friend. When things are going bad on YouTube, it's not okay for you to be my friend."
"That's not what I'm saying."
"Yes, it is. You didn't have a problem with me being on YouTube until it wasn't going well. What do you want from me? Do you want me to quit?"
"I already tried getting you to quit!"
"What? How?" Roseanne couldn't help but ask.
"Who do you think called in that tip about the book-ends?"
"That was you?" Roseanne took another step back. She couldn't understand why he would do such a thing. "Why?"
"So you'd stop investigating Tzuyu's death and let the police do it. The more involved you get on YouTube, the more trouble it brings."
"That's not true!"
"Isn't it? You don't care about Yuju and you don't care about me. You're a horrible friend, Rosie."
"I'm a horrible friend?" Roseanne pointed to herself. "Me? You have no idea what I've been through in the past forty-eight hours. I've got a concussion and you never even visited me in the hospital. I'm supposed to be your best friend!"
"You said you were fine."
"So? Did you know someone almost hit me with a car? I almost died."
"I didn't know that."
"I tried calling you but you never picked up," Roseanne shook her head and sighed. "You keep saying I'm a horrible friend, but aren't you worse, Mark?"
"No, you're the worst. It's probably your fault that Yuju's dead. Honestly, I don't even want to look at you anymore."
"You don't mean that. You're just saying that because you're upset. I get it."
"No, you don't, Roseanne. I mean it. I don't want to look at you right now."
"Madk, I'm sorry if I-"
"No, I don't want to hear your excuses," he stormed out of the waiting area before Roseanne could continue talking.

"Did you find anything?" Joohyun asked her partner, Detective Kim Seokjin.
"The cameras at the apartment complex never worked but we did find a tenant who had a working camera in their car," Seokjin answered. "We're checking to see if there's any kind of connection to the landlord and Yuju."
Officer Chanyeol was next to Seokjin, scanning photographs on his computer. "That's interesting."
"What?" Joohyun asked.
He pointed to photo on the screen of So Jisub. "It says he was arrested for attempted murder, harassment, stalking, and possession of drugs."
"Attempted murder?"
"That's what it says," Chanyeol answered. His fingers flew across his keyboard. "He was let go in a technicality. Nothing on him since then. I met with him earlier today and this is him. Unless he has some sort of doppelgänger, this is the same guy."
"What link does he have to Chou Tzuyu?" Seokjin asked.
"None, that I can find," Chanyeol said. "If he killed Yuju, then he killed Tzuyu's cousin. Maybe he's killing everyone from her family?"
Joohyun rolled her eyes. "We need a motive. Roseanne Park is linked to all of them."
"Joohyun, you said you'd stop harping on Roseanne," Seokjin said. "Why can't you just accept it? If we think the person who killed Yuju killed Tzuyu, then it was a male."
"Who said I think they're the same person?" Joohyun insisted.
"So you think it's a coincidence two women, who were cousins, were both murdered but their deaths are not connected?" Seokjin shook his head. "Joohyun, we need to start looking at the big picture."
Chanyeol stood up. "Listen, while you two solve these murders, I still need to figure out who broke into Roseanne Park's apartment and took pictures of her."
"Took pictures of her?" Seokjin asked.
"Yeah. Someone broke in and took pictures of her while she was sleeping. They even texted them to her from a burner phone."
"Do you have the phone number that sent the pictures?" Seokjin asked.
Chanyeol shared the number and Seokjin groaned and banged his head against his desk. "Why can't things be easy? I was hoping the burner number was the same one as the one in Dr. Kang's phone records."
"Stop looking for shortcuts. We need to figure out these cases soon. The Captain has been complaining about kicking us off the case because of all the media attention this case is getting," Joohyun said.
"No, that can't happen," Seokjin said. "No matter what, we'll need to figure this out," he turned to Chanyeol. "Let's check to see if the landlord is connected to any other YouTubers."
"Fine," Joohyun pulled another chair to sit by Seokjin. "But if it ends up to him being Tzuyu's uncle or something, I'm taking a super-long vacation."
