Park Chaeyoung is competitive by nature.
She blames it on the fact that she comes from a family of overachievers.
From as young as she can remember, she'd always been competitive with her older sister whether it was racing each other home after being dropped off on the bus, or seeing who could sell the most chocolate bars for the fundraiser at school.
When it came to her boyfriend, it was no exception.
They'd always bet on small things— whose scrambled eggs were cooked better, whether uncle or auntie was more fun, who'd be able to memorise the dance moves faster.
Jeon Jungkook has always been a gamer, thus it's no surprise when she hears that her boyfriend said he'd be a pro-gamer were he not an idol. She'd heard from his bandmates that he used to spend days in his dorms when there weren't any schedules, locked in his room playing games on the computer. She too remembered their explosive fight the first time he'd missed her call because he was too focused on a game he was "so close" to finally winning.
To be honest, Park Chaeyoung doesn't mind.
She herself has a long list of hobbies that she often gets carried away with, but the pair have a rule— when they had time together, they should use it together.
One day, Park Chaeyoung surprises him by showing up at his apartment right after she landed. She had told him she'd come over the next morning because she was tired, but instead, she came to his apartment, a giggle across her lips as she saw him falling asleep on the console in his living room. His mouth was wide open, and to her surprise, he was playing a game she was very familiar with.

Super Mario Bros.
She's played it a lot growing up and somehow, instead of turning it off and shooing him off to bed, she sits behind him and gently peels the controller off him, thinking to herself that she'll play just one game.
Only suddenly sunrise comes and it's 7am in the morning and she's still on the console, and Jeon Jungkook wakes up lethargic and very confused (but very, very happy) to see his girlfriend.
He rests his head on her lap with a pout, "... hmmph, who's playing too many games now?"
Park Chaeyoung giggles before rolling her eyes, "... go shower babe."
"Did you even sleep?" He inquires, peeling himself off her and sitting up right to see that she dominating the race track.
"Not yet, I'm jetlagged," she lies, a giggle escaping her lips when he suddenly leans in and kisses her neck, tickling her, "... babe stop I'm so close to winning."
But Park Chaeyoung is not like him, the minute her stomach rumbles (reminding her that it was time for breakfast) she stops and puts the game away.
"Should we eat breakie?" She asks him, a smile on her face.
"Ah," he tsks, feigning disappointment, "... here i thought I'd begin dating a gamer girl."
She scoffs, before joking, "... you wish, I'm not a geek like you."
The game gets forgotten in the days that they spend together, writing songs together and painting the kitchen walls (long story) until one day, she trips on the controller.
"Jeon Jungkook!" She yells, and he knows that any time she's screaming her full name it's either she's really turned on or really, really pissed off at him, "... can you please clean up after yourself!"

"Sorry babe," he quickly rushes over and puts it away, a chaste kiss against her cheek and he smiles at her, "... why don't we play a game together? You seemed to enjoy it the other day."
She looks at him blankly for a minute before an idea pops up in her head, "... what do I get when I beat you?"
"When? I'm sorry babe, I think you're mistaken," he chuckles.
Game on.

Park Chaeyoung groans as she sits on the edge of the bed, watching as he picks up one of his blazers and ties.
Which was already somewhat oversized for him, meaning that it'll look even more ridiculous on her who was half his size!
"Babe, you need to actually give me something that's wearable," she warns him.
"A bet is a bet," he wears a dangerous smirk, "... and you lost, darling."
She groans, taking a pillow and throwing it at him, "... my stylist won't let me wear that, I literally look like a kid playing dress ups."
"Come on babe, you look good in anything. You'll make it work."
That night, Park Chaeyoung calls his boyfriend nagging at him about how all her fans were teasing her.
Meanwhile, Jeon Jungkook thinks about how it's illegal, how his girlfriend is even able to make the most ridiculous outfits work.
