Jeon Jungkook laughs when he thinks about how nervous he originally was when he was planning on telling his girlfriend about Eunkung. It wasn't necessarily as though he had anything to hide, since she was in fact in a stable marriage and had children of her own (and of course looking at another woman outside of his girlfriend was never a thought that crossed his mind but he'd heard stories from the other boys when they were in short term relationships and how regularly they'd fight at night after a tiring show because of rumours and insecurities.

For a minute, he considers not telling her at all, after all—it wasn't as though it would be a problem for their relationship, but then he knows he can't handle the possibility of her finding out and getting the wrong idea.

He hopes his girlfriend can be understanding.

"I'm so jealous," Park Chaeyoung quietly mutters under her breath as she watches as he packs, sitting on the bed at the sight of her boyfriend putting various articles of clothing into his suitcase, "... make sure to have room for souvenirs I want snacks from everywhere you go. Bring your socks!"

Her playfulness makes him chuckle, and alleviates the anxiousness that had unexpected accumulated in the last few days.

"Hmm, just tell me not to go," he stops packing for a moment to give his attention to his girlfriend, a smile curling against the side of his lips, "... should I just bring you with me?"

She playfully rolls her eyes, "... be serious."

"There's a new woman on our team, she'll be coming in as a translator especially for times where Namjoon isn't around since we'll be having separate content," he finally dares to speak, his eyes looking at hers almost cautiously, wondering whether he'll have to sleep on the couch tonight, "... she's married and has children but is quite young."

"Oh?" She looks surprised, "... but that's good, you guys shouldn't rely on Namjoon too much too, at least not forever but don't think that means you can stop trying to learn English, it's important."

"Maybe you can teach me in special ways," his voice responds deeply, "... and give me extra incentives."

Park Chaeyoung gets up, pretty much ignoring his sexual innuendo completely as she puts her hands on his shoulders, tapping on it firmly, "... I'm serious. I don't want to be translating every single time I go with my boyfriend to another country."

Suddenly she excuses herself to go out, but just as she reaches the door, she turns around and looks at him, "... is she pretty?"

Was this a trick question?

"I mean, not as pretty as you of course," he responds, "... but the other boys said she was."

"Oh, I'd like to meet her before you guys go then, to wish her luck on looking after my boyfriend."

He doesn't know whether that was really her intention, or whether he'd just started another world war.

Jeon Jungkook feels nervous, walking into the dinner hand in hand with his girlfriend. Even though security was tight, there was always a sense of "what if" that left him worried for the safety of his girlfriend.

Park Chaeyoung on the other hand was relatively excited, but mainly because she'd heard so much about the food being good in the hotel that she really just couldn't wait.

Per clockwork, she played the role of a girlfriend perfectly, politely bowing to every person in the team that he'd introduced them too and always making sure to mention one or two things they'd said in their conversation to ensure they knew she was attentive and listening. In his peripheral, he sees Eunkung walking towards him.

Here goes nothing.

"Eunkung-ssi," he waves his hand out before resting his hand on the back of his girlfriend, "... meet my girlfriend, Chaeyoung."

Before he could even turn to look at her, she's gasping out loud.

Oh no.

"You're so beautiful, it's so nice to meet you, thank you for taking care of my boyfriend," she bows slightly, "... I love your dress."

He lets out a sigh of relief as she takes a step forward and hugs the stranger, and Eunkung reciprocates the compliment.

"Ah, no, no, my kids are really big fans of Blackpink, by the way, especially when you had your red hair. My daughter said it's princess Ariel," Eunkung explains, "... I'm sorry if this is too much, but—can I have a photo with you by any chance? My daughter didn't believe me when I said I was meeting you."

"Of course, of course!" She cheerfully turns to her boyfriend, "... can you take a photo of us?"

He's glad, that the pair are getting along well.

"Please don't work too hard with him, I'm trying to get him to speak English more fluently without me having to translate the entire thing," she explains, as he's busy reaching for his phone to take a photo together.

The other woman laughs, "... well noted."

Jeon Jungkook is in fact glad, until of course the entire night he's spent sitting beside his girlfriend who's chatting away with Eunkung the entire time.

The only time she'd acknowledged him was when she asked him to send the photos to her.

In fact, by the end of the night, the two women exchange phone numbers and promise to go to a café together before the tour begins.

"Aren't you going to invite me too?" He mops, interjecting into their conversation.

Park Chaeyoung raises her brow at him, perplexed, "... babe, you don't even like tea."

She's right, but he likes her a lot!

Park Chaeyoung doesn't even wait for his reaction, turning her attention back onto the other woman to talk about some melon milk she'd just tried recently?

Ah, he didn't think it'll be like this, when he originally thought having the two meet would be problematic...
