《rosekook prompts.》Bare-faced Beauty.

Jeon Jungkook swears that Park Chaeyoung is the epitome of beauty, and not just physical too.
He doesn't know what it is, or how it is that she had such a gravitational pull onto him—perhaps in a previous life she were a witch that had him locked under her spell, a curse he'd happily obliged to. Her beauty had the ability to heal, he thinks, just thinking about how he gets to home back to his apartment to the warmth of her embrace after a tiring day of a full schedule, or the way her emojis through text perfectly personified how he'd imagine her verbal reaction to be to his texts. Sometimes, when he was having a particularly hard day, he'd video call her—and sometimes, they'd barely speak, but have each other on the other side while they did their mundane things.
Her beauty was encapsulated in her bright yet soft laugh, the type that made his lips curl upwards into a smile on their own.
In every room, every party and every award show—his eyes automatically gravitated towards her, even when his mind (and management) told him not to.
Jeon Jungkook simply couldn't help it.
By the third month (but over a year of courting her) he'd already memorised her intricacies such as the small birth marks on her face which peered through her make-up in certain lighting, or the way she always had to move her utensils to the left side before eating or even the way she does a cute sigh before answering the phone (because phone calls give her anxiety). He knows she's home by the sound of her slippers as she runs through the hallway, or the way she always forgets to bring her clothes into the bathroom and so looks left and right when he thinks he doesn't see and rushes to the bedroom with a towel around her body.

He knows how she gets particularly sensitive when she hasn't had enough sleep, and/or when she's on her period and he learned that he shouldn't talk so much, but to feed her chocolate and her favourite foods and give her cuddles and greet her with a hot green tea. She had a bad habit of biting her lower lip when she was nervous, and he knows she's easily nervous—the way she always has back pain despite still being quite young.
More so, Jeon Jungkook loves her.
All of it—even the parts that she tries to hide from him.
There was one thing that became clear to him by the third month of officially dating him and that was, she seldom was around him without make up.
Of course, there were a view instances where he'd caught her in rehearsals and/or on sleepovers bare faced, but she always hide her face with glasses, a hat, and/or her hair. She'd always go to sleep super late, and by the time he woke up, she was already getting ready for the day with Of course, the pair have had sex too—but she always asked for the lights to be dimmed low and asked him to take off his prescription contact lenses.
As if that'll even do anything!
That was one part of her that he didn't really like, and he was determined to make sure that he could change that.
Rule number one of boyfriend duties: make your girlfriend realise how beautiful she really was.
Besides, he was dating the most stunning woman on the planet and he deserved to see her in HD!
So Jeon Jungkook sits against the headboard of his bed, scrolling through his bed. He hears her coming in, fresh from the shower from afar, noticing him.
"You're no sleeping yet?" She questions him, partly confused to see.

He looks up and puts his phone on the bedside table, before tapping on the space beside him that was her side of the bed, "... come sit here."
There's a sense of hesitancy in her expression, before she opens her mouth to speak, "... let me dim the lights first, it's already late."
"Park Chaeyoung," he gets up, and walks towards her, feeling brokenness in his chest at the way she's almost scared for him to see her.
She's just as beautiful.
Of course she was.
He puts his hands against her cheeks, his eyes lingering onto hers with a smile.
"You're so beautiful, baby," his voice is soft, "... and I want you to know that, and I want you to feel comfortable to be with me without make up on because I promise you—you look so damn beautiful."
It was right there and then, that the unexpected occurred.
Park Chaeyoung broke down in tears, telling him about it all—about all the shame she felt when she'd first joined as a trainee, and how every single thing, every small imperfection was critiqued day in and day out.
But he's glad, because now he knows that she trusts him enough, and he spends the entire night asking her about each and every "flaw" of hers—and kisses each and every one, telling her over and over again about how she was perfect, to him.

Lalisa Manoban was hesitant when she found out that her best friend in the entire world was dating Jeon Jungkook. She'd heard a lot of rumours about the dating scene among idols and to be frank, it wasn't good and knowing how popular his group was, and how insane their fans could be, she wondered whether it could really be a good thing. Not only that, but he was associated with a lot of other idols and other celebrities.
It worried her.
Park Chaeyoung was the softest woman she knew, and so a part of her was always worried that he'd hurt her.
She swore that if Park Chaeyoung ever came back to the dorm with a tear in her eye, Lalisa Manoban, as her best friend will personally make sure to make his life hell.
But Lalisa Manoban learns that she's wrong, because ever since the pair dated—Park Chaeyoung has become a new woman. A confident and energetic version of the girl she knew.
She smiled more, laughed more and most importantly—she was confident in herself, whether it was trying a new hair style, wearing heels and/or the way she didn't bother to wear any makeup whenever they were out and about.
From those things alone, she figures out that he's a good man for her, and different from the others.

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge

Eusocial
There's a reason people made the word improbable. Just because something would never happen based on common sense or reason, doesn't mean it can't happen. For example, a soul maintaining their memories through the River of the afterlife, a stream of ethereal energies that remove and store memories from the recently departed only to return when they die again. Another example, a soul by it's sheer will maintaining awareness during the process of a new body's development; nearly infintesimile chances of happening, but there is still a chance. Hi, you can call me Esseu (S U) and I managed to do both of those nearly impossible things back to back. My reward for such a feat? I was turned into a glorified bee keeper.
