《rosekook prompts.》Birthday Surprise.

Based loosely on the theory that Park Chaeyoung was behind the camera of his birthday live

Jeon Jungkook is a hopeless romantic.
If you asked the other boys, they're without a single doubt say that he would be the first in the group to get married.
In a sense, he was a dreamer.
Jeon Jungkook doesn't know if it's simply in his nature, or as a result of the anime and movies he spends his late nights enamoured by but whatever the reason, he finds himself dreaming of the kind of love that was intoxicating and passionate, the kind that leaves you with butterflies after a date.
Park Chaeyoung was the complete opposite.
He remembers in the beginning of their relationship, how he'd only get a text a day and how it left him feeling heartbroken. Sometimes, she'd even accidentally open his message and forget to reply to him. But the pair overcame their communication barriers and had a heart to heart and while sometimes it takes hours to get a response, Park Chaeyoung makes more effort in the relationship. She sends pictures of her day regularly now—food, places and small voice memos on songs they're working on.
He's a lucky man indeed.
But Jeon Jungkook cannot help but feel disappointed when she tells him that she can't be in Seoul on his birthday due to scheduled dress fittings for the Met Gala. He's a proud boyfriend and remembers the complete excitement he felt when she first shared the news, but at that moment—he hopes that the Met Gala 2021 can burn to hell.
Should he buy a ticket to New York?
The other boys tease him for being whipped, but he curses at them in return.
"I'm allowed to be whipped for my girlfriend," he snaps back, slightly agitated as they sit in the fancy private dining room enjoying their dinner before their plans to head to the studio for their live, "... I'm happy for her really—the Met Gala is a really big deal, and she told me that she's dreamed of attending ever since she was a child. I'm glad things with Saint Laurent are going well—they're treating her well."

Even so, the other boys weren't convinced that he was as happy as he was saying.
"Hmm, you can just kiss me. If you close your eyes and imagine I'm Chaeyoung, I'm pretty sure it's the same thing," Kim Seokjin quips, closing his eyes are pushing his lips forward pouting slightly, causing for the others to laugh in jest.
"Shut the fuck up," he runs his fingers against his hair.
"When will she be back?" Kim Namjoon questions him.
"She promised to take the first flight back, and to try to find a direct one if possible so either the second or the third," he answers, taking out his phone and opening their chat, "... but I'm not sure if she's landed yet, neither her nor her manager have responded."
"Maybe they're on the flight," Min Yoongi rationalises.
He nods, "... I guess so, but when I checked the tracking it says they've already landed an hour ago."
"Alright, alright, no more mopping around," Kim Taehyung finally chimes in, "... it's your birthday soon and I know your girlfriend doesn't want you to be upset."
"Yeah you're right," he admits, "... she was really apologetic and promised to make up for it when she's back."
"Aw someone's getting laid!" Park Jimin yells out loud, causing for everyone to erupt in a laugh.
-
The boys gather around in a circle as Kim Namjoon briefs them on how the live will go. Jeon Jungkook notices that everyone seems to be giving specific glances at one another, but he expects it's more to do with the cake that they'd bought. On his way there, he'd accidentally seen Park Jimin's phone talking about a cake he'd just ordered.
Suddenly, he feels an arm interlock with him and by instinct he takes a step back and shakes it off, words departing from his lips from their own accord, "... I'm sorry I have a girlfri—"
He finally turns mid-sentence, to see Park Chaeyoung wearing a mischievous smile across her lips, as the other boys clap and cheer.

"I hope you're talking about me and not some other gir—"
Before she could finish her sentence, Jeon Jungkook wraps his arms around her and kisses her on the lips, not caring that everyone—the boys, her manager and bodyguard and the few staff could see.
"B—but how?" He manages to mutter as he tries to process everything that was happening as he sees her from head to toe, seeing that on one hand, she's holding what appears to be a cake.
"Of course I'll be spending my boyfriends birthday with him," she smiles as she hands him the box, "... happy birthday my love."
"Okay, we're glad that you're here so that Jungkook won't be so grumpy, but some of us are still single and we need to start the live," Kim Seokjin chimes in, "... guess we'll have two cakes."
Jeon Jungkook smiles one that showed how giddy his heart felt, turning to her, "... I love you, thank you."
"Don't make it obvious," she whispers, before leaning in and giving him one more hug, "... I'll be here watching."
But Jeon Jungkook can't help but keep his eyes at her direction throughout the entire live. He didn't care if people noticed.
How could he not when he had the most beautiful woman in the world as his girlfriend?
And she was there, for him.
-
"I can drive," he offers as he sees both his manager and Park Chaeyoung's manager at the driver and front passenger seat of the car.
"Not happening," his manager simply responds, "... it'll ruin the surprise and your girlfriend would kill me."
Park Chaeyoung simple giggles at the words, before turning to her boyfriend, "... are you surprised?"
He nods, "... was everyone in on it?"
She nods her head, "... I'm surprised no one spilled, you know how bad Jimin is at keeping secrets."
"But why did you have your phone off? And your manager and bodyguard too..."
"Because I knew you'd suspect something," she tells him, "... and ruin the surprise."
"I spent the whole afternoon cleaning your apartment so when we're back its nice and clean, and doing your laundry. I also packed a bag for you for tonight, so hopefully you don't mind the clothes I picked out," she informs him.
Jeon Jungkook knows that at times, Park Chaeyoung isn't the most romantic. In fact, it took her two months of dating him to call him "babe" rather than Jungkook.
But Park Chaeyoung is a thoughtful woman. She knows, that money cannot buy the peace of mind coming from to a nice clean home where all the laundry has been done in advance. Just as importantly, she knows how much romance means to me, and does what she can to articulate a long lie so that she can surprise him on his special day.
He turns around and sees that indeed, there's two suitcases.
One that was dark navy and one that was baby pink.
She surprises him with a well-decorated villa in Paradise City. Secluded from the media. Balloons, his favourite food and drinks.
Everything was prepared well in advance, and he knows, it must've taken hours to do so.
"How about your dress fitting?" He questions her, turning to her, "... don't tell me it's cancelled."
"I'll fly out in two days, after we check out I'll probably go to the airport," she informs him.
Perhaps, that's what he hates the most.
When the pair first started dating, their schedules were much nicer. BLACKPINK barely had activities and with COVID-19 many activities were postponed.
But now, things were jumping into full action and with his girlfriend's popularity following her new solo, as well as the upcoming album, he hates the idea of having to share her with the others.
"Too short," he complains, causing for her to giggle.
"Don't worry about that for now, tonight, it's just about you," she whispers as walks through the spacious living room, "... happy birthday babe."
And he's glad he has the best girlfriend in the world.

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.

The Ramayana - Lakshmila's POV
We have read The Ramayana as kids and always knew it to be the story of Rama and his consort Sita. Every character has an important role to play. But not all of them have found much importance is any of the version. One such character is Urmila and her story with Lakshmana. All versions mention Urmila's sacrifice as "Unparalleled" but none depicted it. This story is an attempt to present the story of Ramayana from Urmila and Lakshmana's POV. Note : This story is fictional. The characters are the same. This story is an insight of The Ramayana through Lakshman and Urmila's eyes. There would be Nobody's POV also. The events are the same but the depiction is part of fiction. Parts of the story is loosely based/inspired from Sita's Sister but I have taken creative liberty to give my character more edge and depth.
