Jungkook's eyes widen and his phone nearly fell to the ground. His reaction making all the staff inside the meeting room stop moving. This is the first time they say saw their boss having such a reaction.
His face looks tense.
"Sir-"
"Meeting adjourned," Jungkook says in a serious voice then grabs his file before leaving the room without explaining what happened.
Bambam was baffled by his boss's sudden change of character. He doesn't know what kind of text his boss received and why his boss just leave like that? He quickly follows the man from behind.
"Prepare the car for me, and also cancel all my meetings for today..." Jungkook ordered his assistant without even looking at Bambam.
"You have an important meeting at 3.30pm, I can't simply cancel the meeting-"
"Just do it." Jungkook cut him off. His voice serious, his steps were fast to his office.
Looking at his boss's tense expression, Bambam quickly calls a chauffeur to prepare the car for the boss and walk to his table to start clear Jungkook's schedule this whole day and also the next few days even tho Jungkook told him to cancel his schedules only for today.
Somehow he knows that his boss is going to Gwangju. No other reason for his boss to cancel everything except when it comes to his wife, Mrs. Jeon.
That is the text Chaeyoung sent to Jungkook a few hours ago. And he's not replying to anything until now. She wanted to call him, but the fact that he's not replying to her make her feel worried.
She didn't tell him when she starts to feel the change in her appetite, mood and also when she missed her period. She doesn't want to tell anything if it's not confirmed. Until this morning, she felt dizzy and vomiting...she went to the clinic, the doctor advised her to check her blood too. That's how the doctor informed her that she's one month pregnant.
She was carrying Jeon Jungkook's child. They were having a baby!
Chaeyoung feels happy at the news but at the same time nervous thinking about how to tell her husband. They never talk about kids, they always say just go with the flow...but she knows having children will make big changes in their life.
She keeps pacing back and forth in the living room, hoping Jungkook will call or maybe reply to her text.
But nothing.
Suddenly Chaeyoung heard someone unlock the door from outside. She doesn't look at the cctv monitor, but somehow she knows who's the person outside the door. Her legs moving to the entrance. Even before the door fully open, she already calling his name...
"Jungkook!"
Just like her, the man also rushing forward... pulling her into a tight embrace. He buried his head into her neck and took a deep breath.

Jungkook couldn't stop his smile from deepening when Chaeyoung let out a small giggle.
"You're pregnant?" He asked as he looks at her face. His voice fills with hope and disbelief.
Chaeyoung nods, smiling widely "The doctor confirmed this morning..." she chuckles at him, happy that her husband's reaction was exactly as she had hoped for it to be.
Jungkook chuckles too, his hand subconsciously moved to Chaeyoung's belly, while his lips travel down her face, peppering kisses. "How long?"
"The test said thirty-seven days." Chaeyoung replied, understood his question.
"Really?" He asked. As if he wanted to hear her answer again and again.
Chaeyoung laughs, "Yes. You're going to be a father."
Jungkook pulls hugs her again..."I'm going to be a father." He let out a burst of delightful laughter that made her body tingle. "I'm going to be a father." He repeated again and again, his heart filled to the brim with hope and happiness.
"I was worried when you didn't reply to my text, I thought you're not ready..."
"I'm sorry...how are you feeling? I was too happy, so I couldn't think straight after reading your text. All I know I should be here and hearing it from your own mouth. I'm sorry..." Jungkook kisses his wife's forehead, he wanted her to know how long he has been praying for her to get pregnant.
Before they get married, he used to feel insecure thinking she would left him. He wanted to be the person she relies on the most and need the most.
"I'm okay and I'm happy too."
-
It's an understatement to say Jungkook is happy with her pregnancy.
Because he is beyond that.
He decided to stay in Gwangju with her, showing no sign to go back to Seoul and saying Namjoon knows how to handle the business.
He's pampering her too much, send her to class...fetch her, wanted to feed her when she eat...join her in the shower or bathtub... stop her from entering the kitchen...as if anything she did might harm her and their baby.
Jungkook will drive her to get whatever food she craving at 2;00 am. Her husband has decided the hospital for the birthplace, the bag is packed before her second trimester. Jungkook makes sure her entire birth plan typed up and laminated and hanging on the fridge. He tries to get her to follow the birth plan as a safety exercise.
Really, Chaeyoung loves Jungkook but it's a bit much.
He doesn't even let her cook ramen.
Chaeyoug glares looking at her husband in the kitchen. "I said I'm okay and you shouldn't worry too much."
Jungkook glances at his wife before turn back and continues cooking ramen with a lot of vegetables in it. "I know you're okay, but I'm worried that something will happen to you."

Months changed...and his wife's stomach getting bigger and bigger. It amazes him how Chaeyoung still strong to go study and being stubborn when he wanted to help.
He had read articles and books, mostly saying a pregnant woman is sensitive and easily gets tired.
But why Chaeyoung not like that at all?
His wife was energetic, still stubborn wanting to do anything by herself. Sometimes she forced him to go back to Seoul and she said she's okay without his help. She also asked Jungkook to drop her a bit far from her faculty entrance because she wanted to walk, she can walk around the shopping mall for hours and not complaining about feeling tired at all. Lately, she refused to bath or shower with him...she wanted to have time with the unborn child in her tummy.
This makes Jungkook feels jealous of the unborn baby.
Jungkook used to think that if Chaeyoung pregnant, their relationship will get stronger and she will need him more. He used to feel insecure, scared she will leave him...so if they have a child, it will be hard for her to leave him. But now it seems different. Chaeyoung gives more attention to the baby.
-
Chaeyoung pouts her lips when she sees the new mattress in the bedroom. Her husband Jeon Jungkook bought to make sure she had a good sleep. She walks to the living room and sees him still talking with the salesgirl about the other new items he bought for Chaeyoung... a new chair specifically for a pregnant woman... a new back pillow... it seems like he wanted to change all the furniture inside the apartment.
She sits on the couch waiting until the sales girl left. Her lips still pouting when Jungkook walks closer to her.
"What's wrong?" asked Jungkook upon seeing his wife's gloomy face. He stands in front of her. With her position sitting down on the couch, Chaeyoung's head only reaches Jungkook's waist.
"You spoiling the unborn child too much," She pouts her lips. "You've been acting super protective and eager... I feel as if the baby is more important to you than me..." Her emotions these days were fickle.
Jungkook raises his eyebrows hearing his wife accusation. Slowly a wide smile appears on his face. He thought he's the one who felt insecure...
He sits beside his wife, pulling her shoulder to make her face facing him. "Chae, I'm not spoiling the baby...I'm spoiling you. I love you so much that I don't want you to feel hurt even a little. And I'm the one who felt you give priority to the baby more than me..."
Chaeyoung frown... "What? no, I don't do that."
Jungkook chuckles, his voice teasing "You did."
"When?"
"When you refused to shower with me," he teased.
Hearing Jungkook's answer makes Chaeyoung blush and hit his chest with her fist. "It's because you keep touching here and there."
Jungkook laughs loudly looking at his blushing wife, he pulls her into his embrace.
-
When Chaeyoung's pregnancy hit 7 months, Jungkook quickly applies for semester leave of absence for her study. He also applies to change her campus.
Jungkook was busy, but not handling the business. He's busy preparing everything for the additional in his small family. He even prepared the plan for his wife post-birth confinement. They moved to a new house with a wide backyard where Chaeyoung can plant her favorite flowers and also with a big pool where they can teach their child swimming.
When the doctor reveals the gender of the unborn baby to be a girl, Jungkook was excited and wished the baby will inherit Chaeyoung's beautiful look and also her charming personality.
Even if it's a boy... he still wants the baby to look like his wife.
-
Jungkook frown when he couldn't feel his wife's body on the bed. He quickly opens his eyes and moves to the place where he knows his wife would be...
Their daughter's room.
His wife seems to become a light sleeper and easily wakes up at the tiniest sound of their daughter.
There...he sees Cheayoung snuggled the half-awake baby to her chest.
"You should wake me up..." Jungkook says while walking closer to his wife and standing behind her. His head peeking at their daughter from Chaeyoung's shoulder.
"It's okay, I can sleep during the day..." Chaeyoung turns her head a little and smiles at her husband.
Spinning her around, baby now asleep in her arms, Jungkook leans in and connects his lips with Chaeyoung's. "Let's take her to our bed, I can't sleep if you're not beside me."
Chaeyoung chuckles and lets Jungkook taking the baby from her arms. She follows him from behind. Looking at his back, with their 7 months daughter's head lay on his shoulder... Chaeyoung's heart floating with happiness.
It might sound cliché... but she feels complete.
Her life feels complete.
Yeah...it's cliché.
Wait, she thinks they should have another one...a boy. And Chaeyoung knows, Jungkook would do anything to make her wished come true.
I end it here. I hope I would have a time to write the unused draft for this fanfic into oneshot.

8 111The Supernormal
In a world where fantasy has become everyday, one man stands against absurdity. The local Tower stomps through the streets. Any hedge could contain a witch. Walls regularly crumble, though none more often than the fourth. In the magical city of Blackpool, all ridiculousness is possible, and it takes everything for Jack Of All Trades to survive. Badly, at that. Perpetually late with his rent, he'll take up arms for any paying customer in order to fulfill his quest. His obstacles include polka-loving ghosts, card-game playing vampires, and the most vicious monsters of all: copyright lawyers. When he's joined by an arrogant magus and an insecure vampire, his life gets even more complicated, but no matter what kind of infuriating choose-your-own-adventure he finds himself on, one constant remains—his rent is due at the end of the month. On second thoughts, maybe he should stay in bed. The Supernormal isn't your average web-novel. It's an urban fantasy parody that saunters through a world full of the absurd, delighting in poking fun at popular media, widely-accepted ideas, and often itself. Story arcs only loosely connect through the characters, who are themselves slowly fleshed out as the story continues. Think of Discworld meets The Dresden Files meets Gintama. This novel won't be for everyone, but if it is for you, you're in for a hell of a ride.
