Chaeyoung woke up, the first thing she registered was the new room. Ah, she's inside the new apartment in Gwangju. Today is the student registration day and today is the day she will be apart from her husband, Jeon Jungkook.
The man behind her shift in his sleep, his arm drapes around her stomach...before pulling her closer to him. Jungkook pulls her body until she was flushed against him, her bareback touching his bare chest.
Chaeyoung chuckles softly when Jungkook's hand that was on her waist, now trailing upwards, cupping one of her mounds.
Thinking he was awake, she turns her head to look at him but see him still in deep sleep. Slowly she turns her whole body facing him, looking at his peaceful expression. She's gonna miss him a lot. Sometimes she felt like she was selfish. Marry him but then leave him to continue her study. They registered their marriage 3 weeks ago, with no wedding ceremony or big attendees. The urge to be official was strong for them.
"Hey handsome man, wake up..." Chaeyoung training kisses on the skin along Jungkook's jaw. She chuckles when she sees his eyes flutter open. "Good morning, handsome."
Jungkook blinks looking at his wife, then he groans...hiding his face into her neck. "If you wake me up like this, it will be hard for me to leave you and go back to Seoul today."
"I will go back every weekend, I promised." Chaeyoung's fingers slide along Jungkook's hair.
"No, you will be tired. Just stay here and focus on your study...we just go with the flow. But make sure you call me if you have a problem," said Jungkook, before bit her neck...adding another bite marks on her neck. He knows the marks will stay on her skin for at least more than one week.
Enough to show she's taken.
──
2 months passed. Chaeyoung could say they handle the separation quite well. Jungkook ended up coming every weekend. driving from Seoul to Gwangju after work every Friday and stay with her until Sunday afternoon before driving back to Seoul. But honestly, she was worried he might fell ill.
When she told him to not come every week, he said okay but then still appear in front of the apartment doorstep every Friday.
"I told you not to come every week-" Chaeyoung couldn't finish her words when Jungkook leaned her to the closed door and begin to kiss her.
"Why? you don't miss me?" Jungkook asked after he pulls from the kiss, feels satisfied looking at her swollen lips.
Chaeyoung glares, "Of course I miss you, but I don't want you to drive 4 hours back and forth... It will worry me if you fall sick. Before you go back on Sunday, make sure we discuss about this, okay?"
──
From coming to her every weekend, they agreed to 2 weekends a month.

It's hard. Sometimes Chaeyoung felt like she made a wrong decision. Sure she has new friends, busy with study...but her heart still full with the thought of her husband.
Her class schedules and Jungkook's work schedules often make them hard to call during the day. From 6 calls a day, it lessens to twice a day... one call when they woke up and 1 call before they're going to sleep. If they're lucky, they can hear each other's voices during the lunch hour.
"What time your class starts?" Jungkook asked through the phone.
"In 30 minutes," Chaeyoung replied while walking to the building of her next class.
"Why you go early? You should rest and eat more at the cafeteria..." He puts away his chopsticks after finish his food.
"Because I want to hear your voice longer, the cafeteria crowded." Chaeyoung pouts.
Jungkook lay his back on the couch. his left thumb rubs the ring on his ring finger. He missed his wife a lot, but he doesn't want to tell her that every second because he doesn't want her to worry and feel guilty over her decision to continue the study.
"Where are you now?" he asked.
"About to take the elevators, my class at the third floor"
"Take the stairs." Jungkook smiles.
Chaeyoung chuckles, turning her steps to the stairs. "I know you missed me so much and want to talk longer with me..."
Jungkook follows chuckles hearing her words. Well if his wife doesn't feel shy to be on the phone with him in front of her classmate, he won't ask her to take the stairs. But Chaeyoung still shy talking to him when her classmate or friends was around.
"Yes, I miss you a lot," he said.
A wide smile appears on Chaeyoung's lips. Her heart bloating.
──
Jungkook glances at his iPad screen before looking back at the monitor screen. He's working overtime in his office while facetime with Chaeyoung through his iPad.
They didn't talk much but simply to look at each other while doing their own thing. Sometimes they facetime when she's cooking, study or when they promised to eat dinner at the same time.
"It's already 10 pm Jungkook, don't stay in your office for too long," Chaeyoung said as she takes out her pajama from the wardrobe.
"Yes ma'am, give me 15 minutes, I'll make sure to turn off my pc in 15 minutes." Jungkook glance at the iPad but his eyes widen when he sees what his wife was doing there... she was unbuttoning her shirt, flashing her shoulder and her back at him, the bite marks he left on her from the visit last weekend still there.
"W-what are you doing?" Shit. Jungkook feels his body stiffen.
"Changing. You can look away if you don't want to see it." She throws her discarded shirt onto the laundry hamper.

Jungkook's eyes twitch as he noticed her wearing matching lace undergarments that he bought for her.
"Are you sure you want to do it in front of the iPad?" he tries to control his voice. He could feel the heat inside his body going down there.
Chaeyoung pauses, she catches the change in her husband's voice. This makes her feels bold. She turns her body facing her iPad screen, showing her front without a shirt on. A playful smile appears on her face as she sees Jungkook's eyes staring at her, hard. She pulls down her pants and lets it fall to the floor.
"I can't undress in front of you?" her voice sultry. Chaeyoung tries to hold her chuckle when she sees him moving in his seat. Then she unclasped her bra, her eyes meeting his.
"Chae, how could I left my office if you do this right now..." Jungkook's voice strained. He probably needed to take a cold shower tonight.
Chaeyoung laughing loudly looking at her husband. Ah if only Jungkook knows by looking at his straining face right now already make her body heated.
──
Six months passed yet never once they failed to miss each other. Now they understand the meaning of absence makes the heart grow fonder.
The sounds of their beating hearts blended together and Jungkook couldn't distinguish between his heartbeat or Chaeyoung's...his emotions were heightened. He hugged her till the heat in their bodies cooled down.
He leans his back on the bed headboard. Chaeyoung on his lap has her upper body sprawl across Jungkook's abdomen and chest. Her head leans on his chest and her husband's hand slowly moves up and down her back as though comforting her.
Even after all the lovemaking a few hours ago, they still can't get enough. The lingering passion was just as before. His member was still fully buried inside her body, erect.
Chaeyoung traces her fingers on Jungkook's chest... then she giggles when his member stirs inside her, as though reminding her of its presence.
"How's your study? Is everything good?" Jungkook asked, making small talk to let her body rest a little before they could continue.
Chaeyoung snuggles her head on his chest, "Everything's good..." she starts talking about the things that happened recently, updating her husband about her study, her friends... "oh, you remember the man Kim Seokjin? he was teaching one of the subjects. He has a lot of secret admire among students...he's funny and students called him Mr. Worlwide Handsome-"
Before Chaeyoung could say anything further, Jungkook tilts her head upward and kiss her.
"I've been thinking about this..." Jungkook muffles between kisses, "Every time I heard you talk about another guy instead of me, I can barely contain myself in marking you for mine." He growls at her, a feral sound in her ears.
Chaeyoung barely holds back a moan as he rocking his hips into her. She digs her fingers deeper into his shoulder as his lips went back and forth her earlobes before she could say anything...Jungkook already clamped his teeth on her neck and suckled hard till it hurt.
She ends up wearing a turtleneck shirt to all of her class. She can't even join her friends to the swimming pool because Jungkook leaving his mark everywhere on her body.
──
Jungkook starts to feel worried when he saw Chaeyoung's face looking pale and tired every time they had facetime. She said she's okay. But not until he drives to Gwangju and found out she has been vomiting a few times a day and had a headache.
Because of that, they had their first fight. He might have raised his voice because he was frustrated after knowing she hide her illness from him.
Meanwhile, Chaeyoung gets sensitive easily and refused to go to the hospital.
"It's nothing bad, so stop worrying. Just go to bed." Chaeyoung sighs as she walks to the bathroom. Instead of using the bathroom in the bedroom, she used the one beside the kitchen.
Jungkook looks at Chaeyoung's retreating figure. He doesn't like it when she just brushes off the issue like that, but at the same time he doesn't want her to feel upset with him. He walks into the bedroom, thinking maybe he will apologize to her before they sleep.
But when he finished his bath and lay on the bed, Chaeyoung still not in the bedroom. Jungkook waiting for her while texting Bambam, informing his assistant that he will take a few days off next week.
After a few minutes, he noticed he's been waiting for a considerable amount of time. He walks to the outside of the room. "Chae..."
No answer.
Then his eyes catch a sleeping figure on the couch. Jungkook's heart dropped. Did she was too upset with him and didn't want to sleep with him?
Carefully he kneels beside the couch, looking at his wife's face. She indeed looks tired and pale, his fingers caressing her cheek. Did she stress with her study? Jungkook tries to think of the reason why she behaves like this?
He carefully lifts Chaeyoung up from the couch, makes his way back to the bedroom...he gently places her on her side of the bed and tucks her in before returning to his side.
But as he lay on the bed, Chaeyoung rolls over closer to him and snuggles into his side. Jungkook smiles as she throws one hand across his torso to hug him closer, he kisses her head... he feels relief when she does this, it reassures him that in the end, things will be okay for the two of them.
The End
NO. I'm joking.

The idea came from my love of hero stories, but the lack of relatable heroes. By that i mean there were no, or few heroes that dealt with weight gain. Something I have and am dealing with after leaving the Marine Corps. So Fat Boy Hero was born. Check out the link below to listen to an episode of The Round Table Podcast where I brainstormed the idea with the hosts and special guest Michael underwood. http://www.roundtablepodcast.com/2013/03/workshop-episode-53-guest-host-michael-r-underwood/ This book is a side project and will be updated as time permits. I hope you do not find this too off-putting.
