With his eyebrows and serious looking expression, some thought Matsukawa was pretty scary and intimidating.

But you didn't.

You sat in back of him in several classes, and ended up talking with him a lot. Even from the beginning, you found him pretty cool. Who wouldn't enjoy a couple jokes during a very serious project.

He found you pretty cool also. You wouldn't hesitate to join him or his friends. You would laugh at most, if not all, his corny jokes and cheesy pickup lines.

When the two of you started going out, not a lot of things changed. You still talked, you still joked, you still jokingly flirted with each other. Hell, some people already thought the two of you were dating before you guys even confessed to each other.

But getting together meant you shared emotional times. You would've never know the small insecurities that he held within this laid-back shell. He was a bit self-conscious of how he looked, in middle school and his first year of high school he would often get ignored and shunned.

And whenever he would bring it up, you didn't hesitate to engulf him in a hug.

"You're perfect," you would whisper to him.
