I knew this was it. This was my dream calling. This group is what I wanted to be a part of.

"Hey, (Y/n)."

"Hm? Yes, Ennoshita?"

"Um, I have a question."

"Mhm, yeah?"

"Um, why is this house bigger?"

"Oh! This is used as a clinic, so we needed it's big enough for many people."

"Oh, cool."

"Welp, you can stay here. Let's hope tomorrow you can go back." (Y/n) smiled as he opened the door for a room for me.

"Alright, thanks." I smiled at him.

"No problem. Good night."

"Wait, before you go... Can I join your group?" I asked.

"Well, I think you should talk to Hatsumi and Akio about that as well. But, I think if you put your heart to it, you can do it."

He walked back to his room, and I closed the door to my room for the night.

I plopped myself onto the bed. It's a shame, I really want to stay, but... maybe I'll get in the way. I mean, I'm not strong, I don't have a quirk, and I can't do much. I over-thought things about my parents and siblings, and some friends until I fell asleep. I woke up the next morning to knocking. It was around 3 am. I got up, and opened the door to my room. (Y/n) was waiting for me, already fully dressed.

"Hey, I'm just saying, but there's only one bathroom, and it gets cold easily. You should go bathe. Rosette, Akio, Hatsumi and I already took a bath. We'll meet in the living room."

"OK."

I took a quick bath, brushed my teeth and met up with them in the living room.

"Oh, hey, Ennoshita."

"Hey."

"The attack is still going on. We're not sure at what rate you can go back." Akio said.

"Oh, that's fine, but I hope I'm not bothering you."

"No, no, we don't mind." Hatsumi smiled.

"But this way, how will you get food?"

"We don't know. Like, we have jobs and all, but at this rate, even going outside is fatal." Hatsumi sighed.

"Yeah, I can't go to school because of it." Rosette spoke up

"It really sucks. I'm scared that this might turn out as an actual war between heroes and villains." (Y/n) said.

"Yeah. Just look at this for a second." Rosette said as she turned on the TV.

"𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮, 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙢. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙫𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨. 𝙋𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨. 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙩, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙧, 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚. "They've been showing this announcement text on TV for over 5 hours now. It's the same for every channel on TV." Akio said.

"Oh man." Hatsumi muttered.

"Let's just hope this ends soon." I sighed.

And so, I stayed at the hospital that is (Y/n)'s house day after day after day. I don't have a phone on me, so I don't have a way to contact the outside world. But either way, I'm enjoying my stay here. All the recovered patients went home after Hatsumi and Akio rebuilt their houses. Hatsumi and Akio stayed here in case there was a need to help someone. Soon enough, I was somewhat initiated into the group. At this point, this war has been going on for a bit more than 4 months, and I don't know how my family and friends are doing. I really hope they're OK. I'm spending so much time with (Y/n) and Rosette, though, that I think I'm starting to catch feelings for (Y/n). I'm not sure yet, though, so I just hope nobody could tell.

"Ennoshita-san."

I looked next to me.

"Oh, Rosette, what's up?"

"Isn't it boring, staying indoors all day and not doing anything?" She asked.

"Well, a bit. Don't you have your online class?" I replied.

"Nope, it's break."

"Oh, alright."

"Hey, so, do you like (Y/n)?" Rosette asked.

"Huh? Why do you think that?" I asked as I blushed.

"Oh... So you don't?" She asked.

"Um... Well, I guess I do like him." I replied.

"Ohhhh. Nice!"

"Mhm, why'd you ask?"

"I was just kinda curious." She replied as she walked away.

Odd.

I went back to doing whatever I was just doing.

"Hey, Ennoshita."

"Oh, yes, Hatsumi?"

"Aki, Rose, and I are gonna go claim some food. They're giving out bags."

"Oh, OK. See you."

"We might not be back till tomorrow, cuz it's pretty far away, so see you." Akio replied as they all closed the door.

"See you."

I shrugged, and went back to whatever I was doing. A bit later, I got hungry, though, so I went to the kitchen. There, (Y/n) was cooking some food.

"Oh, hey Enno."

"Hey."

"I'm making (food) for dinner." (Y/n) smiled.

He looked so calm while he cooked. There was a small strand of hair on his eye, and he had a small smile on his face.

"Hey, we should go eat on the balcony." (Y/n) said as he finished cooking.

"Sure." I replied.

"OK, I'll get the plates. Could you prepare drinks?"

I nodded, then I got the cups and a bottle of (favourite juice). I quickly went to the balcony, and set the juice down on the wooden table. Soon, (Y/n) came here with the (food).

"So, you've been here for almost 5 months now." (Y/n) pointed out.

"Haha, yeah. It's been quite long, hasn't it?"

"Yeah. You're like family to Rose, Aki, and 'Sumi now." (Y/n) smiled.

"That's nice."

He smiled as he ate his food.

"... what about you? What do I... feel like to you?" I asked.

"Hmm, you feel like home," (Y/n) replied.

"Oh," I blushed.

"Mhm, what about you? What do I feel like to you?" He asked.

"Um, I don't know, you feel like (Y/n) to me."

He chuckled. "I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean."

"Well, me neither. I guess I... hmm, you feel like someone I want to keep around forever. Like a soulmate, perhaps?"

"Really? That's nice, I would love to be someone's soulmate." (Y/n) chuckled. "I'm glad you feel that way."

"Mhm... I think I like you."

(Y/n) looked at me, wideyed. "Really?"

"Um... yeah."

He blushed. "Well, I like you too..."

I was right. This is my dream calling, I wanted to be here all along; with (Y/n).
