"I can't believe we're moving back to Japan." (Y/n) exclaimed. "I'm so excited."
"Yeah, it's gonna be a blast!" (Y/n)'s younger sister, (Sister's name), exclaimed.
"Now, now, you two. Get your bags now, we're getting off this plane." Their mom said.
"OK mom." (S/n) said as she picked her backpack out of the chair. "Let's go!"
.
.
.
"Mom, I'm going to what high school?" (Y/n) asked.
"Nekoma. Your aunt and I graduated from there." his mom answered.
"Doesn't 'neko' mean cat or something? Is (Y/n) going to a cat school?" (S/n) asked.
"Yes, neko does mean cat, honey, but it's not a cat school. It's a metropolitan high school."
"That's so cool! Can I go there when I'm in high school too?" (S/n) asked.
"Of course."
.
.
.
"We have a new student. Please tell us a bit about yourself." the teacher said. (Y/n) blinked.
"Oh- hello! I'm (Y/n), I used to live at the beach in California, but there was too much pollution where we lived, so my mom moved us here, while our other mom stayed there." (Y/n) told. "Oh, wait, am I blabbering? Sorry."
(Y/n) sat down, sighed, and looked around the class. The class didn't seem to mind, so he was probably fine. He looked in front of him. There was a person with black-blonde hair. The blonde part looked bleached, but that wasn't the point. He was wearing a volleyball jacket. Volleyball. Maybe he's on the team. (Y/n) wanted to join a sports team here, but he was way taller than the average 17 year old- 193 cm.
"It's a pleasure to have you in this class, (Y/n)-kun. Now, we'll work on..."
.
.
.
"Hey, hey!" (Y/n) exclaimed as the half blonde was about to leave the class.

"Hm, me?" the person asked.
"Yeah, you. Uh, are you in the volleyball club?" (Y/n) asked.
"Yeah... why?"
"I want to join..."
"OK... I guess I can take you to the captain."
.
.
.
"Oh wow! You are tall! What's your name?" a guy whom someone called Inuoka asked.
"(Y/n)," (Y/n) answered.
"Whoa, you're as tall as Lev! How tall are you, (Y/n)?" Yamamoto, the captain asked.
"193 centimeters sharp." (Y/n) answered.
"Interesting. I like your style, dude." Yamamoto commented. "I think you'd make a great middle blocker."
"Oh, sure... I guess."
.
.
.
Since they were in the same class, in the volleyball club, and have similar hobbies, (Y/n) and Kenma got along like a house on fire. They got along so well, infact, that Kenma had decided to start opening up to (Y/n).
"You know I really want a garden in my house, but we've only got a balcony." Kenma complained.
"A garden?" (Y/n) asked.
"Yeah, a garden."
"I never actually had a garden either. Never wanted one, though." (Y/n) thought. "Why don't you get a house with a garden when you graduate?"
"I don't know, it might be expensive." Kenma replied.
"Yeah, true. But I have a feeling you'll become, like, super rich when you graduate." (Y/n) remarked.
"Maybe but probably not."
"Sure, sure, Mr. Genius."
Kenma laughed, his voice angelic, his flowing hair somewhat orange from the sunset. (Y/n) blushed. It dawned on him... he liked Kenma. One of his only friends in Japan happened to be his crush. Great, nothing can go wrong.
.
.
.
"(Y/n)." Kenma called.
"Hm, yeah?" (Y/n) answered, half asleep.
"Wanna go hang out? I'm kind of lonely..." Kenma admitted.
(Y/n) sighed, and smiled. "What did I even expect? Of course, just give me a few minutes."

"OK, meet you at the park."
(Y/n) got up, brushed his teeth, got dressed, climbed out his window to find Kenma. He wore a/an (colour) sweater, but it still wasn't thick enough to block out the freezing 3am air. He exhaled, smoke coming out of his mouth. He walked down to the park Kenma was talking about, and there he was. In all his glory with his blue Nintendo, red-black hoodie, and his hair tied in a bun. (Y/n) blushed.
"He's adorable." (Y/n) mumbled. He walked closer to Kenma. "Hey, Ken-Ken."
Kenma looked up. "Hey (Y/n). Thanks for keeping me company."
"No problem." (Y/n) said as he sat down next to Kenma.
The two chatted for a bit since they were bored. (Y/n)'s face was unbelievably red, and his heart beated at an inhumane speed.
"(Y/n)?" Kenma asked.
"Yeah?"
"Do you wanna... live together? Like, when we're older, we can move in together." Kenma explained, blushing. (Y/n) blinked.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yeah. I've been thinking about this for a few months, but it's fine if you don't wanna." Kenma said.
(Y/n) blinked. "I mean, I'd love to move in with you..." (Y/n) told Kenma. "So, yeah."
"OK, cool..."
The two silently sat together for a while.
"So, why did you ask suddenly?" (Y/n) asked.
"... I-I just wanted to." Kenma answered. "... by the way, I really like you, so yeah."
(Y/n)'s eyes went wide. "Wait, you do?"
"Yeah... if that's not OK with you then, that's fine-"
"I like you too!" (Y/n) interrupted. "I don't don't like you, I really really really really really really really like you."
"... isn't that Carly Rae Jepsen's song?"
