《Haikyuu!! x Male reader one-shots》- Iwaizumi Hajime -

"Papa, Dad?" Akihiko, my husband, (Y/n), and I's eldest son called quietly as he entered our bedroom.
"Hmm, yes?" I asked.
"Tamaki and I couldn't sleep, so we were wondering if you can tell us a bedtime story." Akihiko said.
"Of course. Let's go to your room." I told him as I put (Y/n) on the bed. We were watching a movie and he fell asleep.
.
.
.
We walked into Akihiko and my youngest son, Tamaki's room, to see that Tamaki was wide awake, despite it being 1 am on Wednesday.
"Alright, hmm, how about I tell you how papa and I met?" I asked. We've read just about all of the books on the bookshelf.
"Oki!" Tamaki exclaimed.
"Not so loud, Tamaki. Papa is sleeping." Akihiko scolded. Oh 5 year olds.
"Alright... We met in high school. Uncle Issei, uncle Takahiro, uncle Tooru, and I were hanging out. Uncle Issei decided to invite someone over."
.
.
.
"Guys, is it OK if I invited someone over?" Mattsun asked.
"Who?" Oikawa asked.
"Oh, oh! Is it him?" Makki asked.
"Yeah, him." Mattsun replied.
"Who's him?" I asked.
"He's Mattsun's friend. Super cool and chill guy, I met him before." Makki explained.
"His name is (L/n) (Y/n). We went to the same junior high, but he moved to this school called Fukurodani in Kanto." Mattsun explained.
"I mean, sure, just invite him over." Oikawa said as he flicked his hair.
"Great."
And they were right. (Y/n) is very chill. We were at the mall, waiting for him since he had to take the train from Kanto to Miyagi. When he arrived, he was all I could see. The word 'beautiful' simply couldn't be farther from the truth, magnificent was the correct one. I fell in love with his (e/c) eyes and (h/l) (h/c) hair.

"Hey guys. Sorry for making you wait." (Y/n) said as he walked up to us.
"Hey (L/n)." Mattsun greeted.
I blushed at the mere sight of him. You could say it was love at first sight, and you'd be right. We went to an arcade in the mall. It was a rather gay night. The thing that put us together was when Oikawa decided to play ball pit tag. There was a huge ball pit playground that Oikawa spotted so we bought 3 hour tickets to play there. (Y/n) and I decided to team up to help each other from the tagger, Oikawa. We went to the very back of the ball pit with slides blocking us from being seen. We went underneath the slides, and found a small room booth thing that was in the play area, so naturally... we went in there because it was so well hidden that nobody knew it was there. We figured Oikawa, Makki, and Mattsun wouldn't be able to find us either. Well, with the fact that we had a long time to wait, we chatted. At some point, we chatted to the parts of our love lives, where I told him I was questioning my sexuality.
"So, like, I think I might be gay. But I've never experimented or anything." I told him.
"Oh! I like boys." (Y/n) said.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yep."
"Can I like... ask for a favor?"
"Sure." he replied.
"Can I kiss you? So I can see if I like how it feels." I told him.
(Y/n) smiled. "Of course. I don't mind."
And we kissed. We kissed for a while. A very long while. Until we realized that our friends are looking for us.
"(Y/n)! Iwaizumi! Where are you guys?!" Makki yelled. Oops?

We walked out of our hideout, and we traded numbers. That kiss was unbelievably amazing... I think I'm gay.
.
.
.
"Hehe. That's funny." Tamaki giggled.
"Dad, take us there some day." Akihiko said.
"Sure." I laughed.
"Can you tell us more?" Tamaki asked.
I smiled. "OK, fine. This is how we started dating."
.
.
.
(Y/n) happened to be in town for the week. Our schools were closed so he came to Miyagi to visit us (as in Mattsun, Makki, Oikawa, and I). Well, that week, Oikawa had been forced to go to stay with his nephew, and Makki was out of town, so there was only (Y/n), Mattsun and I. On June 10th, my birthday, Mattsun had to go visit his brother. On June 9th, (Y/n) and I were texting for plans on my birthday.
(Y/n)
Hey Hajiwa-chan, do you wanna go out tomorrow?
As in like, go on a date
Sure why not?
Despite the calm tone of my text, I was screaming at my dad about how (Y/n) asked me out. He just sat there and said
"Son, I support you, but I'm trying to watch TV."
For the date, we went to a karaoke. We had our own room, we rented it out. (Y/n) has an incredible singing voice. I knew I fell in love for this man even more.
.
.
.
"Whoa." Akihiko said.
"What's going on here?" (Y/n) asked as he entered the room.
"Aki and Maki couldn't sleep, so I'm telling them bedtime stories." I explained.
"Oh. What did you tell them?" He asked.
"How we started dating and how we met." I told him.
"Tell them about the wedding." (Y/n) said.
"Sure, but this is the last story."
.
.
.
We were at home, watching a movie. (Y/n) suddenly went to the toilet. I just sat, watching the movie when (Y/n) came back. I looked at him, naturally, when he knelt down, and proposed to me.
"Hajime, you're an amazing person, and I love you a lot. Do you wanna get married?" he asked.
"Yes, of course!"
And with that we got married. I was the one walking down the aisle. This was decided by a game of rock paper scissors. And so was the decision for us to use (Y/n)'s last name. (Y/n) was blushing so much, and so was I. I didn't remember much of that day, admittedly. It seemed to pass by in a flash. But it was an amazing day.
.
.
.
Akihiko, and Tamaki fell asleep. I smiled.
"Welp, they fell asleep." (Y/n) smiled. "Let's go back to our room."
"Yeah. Let's go to sleep."

Reality Grants One Chance
Some people are lucky, some aren't, some - have terrible luck. Our "hero" is of the latter kind. During young age he got into an accident, which allowed him to learn the fact that he belongs to a rare group of people.. People diagnosed with lung cancer, which he, however survived. Can't say he's lucky, as his life went downhill from that point... Our story happens years later, when his fate decides to make a loop and throw him in the same kind of accident. He gets hit by a truck. Surviving the crash, suffering just a few scratches, he is ultimately "lucky" to find himself out of the hospital in no time.. however every bit of good luck always brings him terrible luck afterwards. This time pushing him maybe a bit too far.. How far? Making him vanish without a trace and find himself in the middle of an unknown forrest. Doesn't sound bad? He can consider himself lucky? Just wait and see...It can always get worse.. always.. .... Congratulations, you've made it through the intro and into the author note! If you by any chance missed the tags and didn't read the warning, please do that now. I really recommend you to. Before you jump to reading, and unintentionally scar yourself, do mind that the story is about a dark, unforgiving world, a world in which you have more opportunities to die a horrible death, than take a piss. Hero doesn't have great luck, he has dumb persistance, he doesn't go through any trial with a breeze, he pays the price of blood, flesh and tears to live..and will be paying for every mistake.. No one outright explains anything to him, just as us for the most part - he is not sure what the hell is going on.. Some real survival tactics are used as a base of the descriptions, they are as important to the world and character as any other element.. Mind that the story starts really slow, but as the stone starts rolling downhill - the pace gets faster.. Every tag for this novel has a reason to be there, so if you don't see the particular element there, don't panic.. it's either well camoufalged, subtle or simply not encountered as of yet. Big thanks to Hobbo, Enyhrye and Hveth! ...not only pointing that the description could be better, but providing invaluable input.. and being patient enough to give fleshed out advice.

Gaslgiht
There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.

Ironworker Frank O'Brien digs his life: great wife, tight family, and a job he loves, raising skyscrapers for a firm whose owner he respects. Smooth going until his boss, the owner's grandson, stirs racial and labor tensions. Soon, Frank's fighting the good fight, and standing tall seems to work. He even manages a few allies until a Voodoo god mucks up the works, knocking Frank back to 1966 and into the center of Cleveland's Hough riots to test his mettle. Needless to say, getting back to see his little girl's youth orchestra recital's gonna be a bitch. ELIOT NESS FOR MAYOR is a short novel of magical-realist fiction, a stand-alone book in the Shantytown Cycle. Written for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), I will be posting revisions as I complete them and should be done by early 2022, though I am making major changes so the timing may be longer. This book is cross-posted on two websites: Wattpad and Royal Road. Both are reputable, high-quality sites. Do not trust this book on other websites. They "scrape" material from reputable sites, posting the stolen material as an original to lure users in, but contain links that include malicious code.
