《Haikyuu!! x Male reader one-shots》- Goshiki Tsutomu -

I walked to the gym for morning practice, only to be met with all eyes on me.
"Hm? What's up, you guys?!" I asked.
"Tsutomu has a secret admirer!" Tendou-san exclaimed.
"Huh?" I asked, confused.
"I found this letter when I came here this morning. It specifically said it was for you." Ushijima-san said as he gave me the letter.
"Ah, thank you, Ushijima-san!" I exclaimed. I opened the letter's seal. The letter was written in cursive 'For Goshiki Tsutomu.'
"Well? Don't stand there like an idiot, read it!" Shirabu yelled.
"Sheesh, OK," I rolled my eyes. "Dear, Goshiki Tsutomu. I just wrote this to simply get my feelings off my chest. I am madly in love with you. When I first saw you, I felt like I had opened a floodgate of feelings I've never felt, which I learned to recognize as love. I apologize, I can't put my feelings into words that well, but please know I truly mean it when I tell you I love you. I don't think you would like me back if you knew who I am, but thank you for reading this, if you didn't just trash it. Best Wishes, your secret admirer." I read.
"OK, so from how this secret admirer writes, I can kind of tell they might be insecure, and maybe stoic." Semi-san said.
"Yeah, seems so." Shirabu agreed.
"I wanna write back to him!" I exclaimed.
"Huh?-" Shirabu exclaimed.
Just then, a male swiftly barged the door open. It was (Y/n)-kun, my roommate.
"Goshiki, you forgot to turn off the toaster! Now we both have detention." He scowled. Damn I pissed him off.
"Ah- but I have pra-"
"That doesn't matter! You gave us both detention, and that's your fault that you forgot to do something so important." He said as he pulled me out of practice by the top of my practice shirt.
"I'm sorry, (Y/n)-kun!" I exclaimed, embarrassed about the toaster thing.
"Whatever..." he muttered. He finally lets go of my shirt, and lets me walk beside him. (Y/n)-kun is actually a bit taller than me, and stronger, and frankly, I kind of like him, even though he's pretty aggressive and has anger issues.
"Oh yeah, (Y/n)-kun."
He looked at me. "What?"
"I got this letter from someone, and I was wondering if you know who the writer is." I said as I handed him the letter. (Y/n)-kun looked at the letter, and blushed.
"Oh I know damn well who this is." he laughed.
"Perfect! In that case, I'm planning to write back to this person, so can you give it to them?" I asked.
He blinked. "Sure."
"Great, thanks!" I thanked him. "Can you perhaps tell me who they are?"
"... I don't think he wants you to know... yet, I guess."
"It's a he?" I asked.
"Yeah." he said.
"That's cool." I smiled. "So now I know it's a he!"
(Y/n)-kun sighed as we continued to walk to detention.
.
.
.
"(Y/n)-kun!" Goshiki yelled.
"What?" I asked.
"Can you give this to my admirer?" he asked. I nodded.
"Yeah." I snatched the letter from him in excitement, trying to hide the blush on my face. I know exactly who to go to after school today.
...
"Kunimi Akira!" I exclaimed.
Akira turned around. "Ah, (Y/n)!" he exclaimed.
"Akira, you'll never guess what happened!"
"Oh my goshhhh, spill the tea!" he giggled.

We walked to a quiet place that Akira and I hung out at. I regularly just stroll into Aoba Johsai to see Akira, so the staff here are used to my presence. They just go 'Oh here comes Kunimi-kun's best friend' and just leave us be. For a matter of fact, they reserved this quiet place just for us, because we're fabulous.
"OK, you better tell me everything, (Y/n)." he ordered.
"Yeah, OK. So, I finally confessed to Goshiki, but in the form of a secret admirer."
"Wait, Goshiki as in Laser-beam Line Shot Guy?" He asked. Laser-beam Line Shot Guy is what Kageyama calls him. We all attended Kitagawa Daiichi together and kept in touch, so that's how we know what he calls Goshiki.
"He was all excited, and was asking me if I knew the confessor. Obviously I said yes since I was the confessor, and he wrote back a letter!" I exclaimed. "And I would've been excited too if he didn't leave the toaster on, and gave us detention."
Akira laughed. "Yassssssss, slay my dude. Did you bring the letter?"
"Duh, the sole purpose of me coming here was so we can open the letter together."
"Oh my bestie is growing up! Now open the letter!" he exclaimed. I swiftly pulled out the letter from my pocket to read with my bestie.
"Dear secret admirer. I read your letter, I didn't throw it away. You seem insecure about yourself. I may not know who you are... yet ;) but you seem like an amazing person! Also, I'm sorry, but I like someone already (you probably know him!) but we can be friends! I would like to keep in touch with you, even if it's by letter and between (Y/n)-kun, but I understand if you don't want to. Again, I'm sorry, please don't take it personally! Sincerely, Tsutomu." Akira read.
"He... likes someone already." I blinked as I felt some tears threatening to fall. Akira was quick to catch onto this.
"(Y/n), honey, don't cry." Akira soothed as he brought me into a hug. "You told him that you liked him in the form of a secret admirer. He doesn't know it's you, he thinks it's someone else! You might have a chance with him."
I blinked in realization. "Oh yeah! OK, I need a pen and paper!" I exclaimed as I scrambled to find the pen and paper in my bag.
...
"Goshiki." I called as I felt my heart pounding in my chest.
"Oh, (Y/n)-kun, you're back!" he exclaimed.
"Yeah. He wrote back to you." I told him. Goshiki seemed to get the message.
"Really?!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, here, take your letter." I told him.
"Thanks!" he exclaimed.
"Can you read it out loud? I'm curious too..." I pretended to admit. I mean, I know what's in there, I wrote it.
"Alright! Dear, Goshiki. You already know me pretty well, but you probably don't like me. I'm not exactly the nicest person, and how would I know who you like already? I have an extremely small circle of friends. Also, yes, I wouldn't mind getting to know you better. I'll have some start. My fav. Colour is (f/c), and I'm 16 years old. I like (fav song). How about you? Best Wishes, your secret admirer." he read. "Wait, that fits Shirabu's description!" he exclaimed. I cringed. If anything was to be confirmed about the secret admirer, it was not Shirabu. "Is it him?"
I shook my head. "He wants to tell you himself, but how about this? Make a list of people based on the amount of information you get from him, and I'll tell you if it's right or wrong."

Goshiki seemed to like this idea, as he nodded. "OK!"
.
.
.
"(Y/n)-kun!" I heard Goshiki exclaim.
"Yes?" I asked.
"I wrote back to him!" He told me as he handed me the letter.
"OK."
...
"Akira!" I exclaimed.
"(Y/n)!"
We tackled each other in a hug as Kindaichi awkwardly watched us in the background.
"Uh, Kunimi?" he asked.
"What?" Akira asked, returning to his cold self.
"Y'know, whatever." Kindaichi said as he walked away.
"Anyways, what's up?" he asked.
"He wrote back to me!" I exclaimed.
"OK, let's go. We're opening that letter, right now." Akira said as he dragged me to our usual spot.
We sat down on a bench, and we ripped the letter seal open.
"Akira read it for me. I'm too nervous!"
"OK. Dear, secret admirer. To answer your question, my favorite color is red, I'm fifthteen, and I like Juliet by Cavetown, and Pretty Girl by Clairo! I really like boiled flounder, how about you? Also, (Y/n)-kun said you'll tell me who you are. I can't wait to meet you, I bet we'll be great friends! - Tsutomu." Akira read. "You're gonna tell him?"
"Yeah." I laughed.
.
.
.
"Here." I said as I handed Goshiki the letter I wrote the night before. Now that we talk through letters, it gives me sort of a comfort, but at the same time it's kind of nerve wracking. I felt my face warm up a little as I saw the excited gleam of light in his eyes.
"Ah, thanks (Y/n)-kun!" Goshiki exclaimed. He smiled at me, and I swear I saw a blush on his face.
"Uh, no problem." I said as I looked away. Truth be told, I really just looked away to hide the blush on my face.
...
I walked to the dorms. I really want (Y/n)-kun to help with this one thing... who the secret admirer is. I read the letter from him, and I have a few people in my list. Some are from here, some are from other schools. See, (Y/n)-kun went to Kitagawa Daiichi, so he knows some people from Aoba Johsai and Karasuno (Tsukki, Hinata-kun and that setter guy) as well.
"(Y/n)-kun. Can you help me with this one thing, please?" he asked.
"Sure," I told him.
"So, I wrote a list, and I was wondering if you can cross some people out the list." I told him. I handed him the list.
"I see." (Y/n)-kun said as he took the list.
Ok let's see. There's a couple of people here.
*Shirabu
Shirabu is so in love with Semi.
*Kageyama
Lol Kageyama? No way, he's dating that guy named Tadashi.
*Tsukki
Tsukishima? Isn't he like, madly in love with the ginger kid? What was his name? Like, Hinata? Yeah, Hinata.
*Kawanishi-san (?)
I can't even with this one.
"It's none of them," I replied monotonously.
Goshiki's world seemed to crumble at that one statement alone. "Wait, what? But that was everyone who fit the description that he gave me."
"I'm sorry, but it's none of them." I told him.
"Wait, OK, let me just go rethink this. Thank you for your help, (Y/n)-kun." he said as he left the room.
I sighed. Why can't he just get the hint... wait I never gave him any. Oh well.
.
.
.
"Hey, (Y/n)-kun... I wrote a letter back." I told him.
"Oh? OK." He said as he grabbed the letter from my hand.
"Thank you," I sighed as I went back into my room. Today I'm really somber. Why? Tomorrow is my birthday, but... I only have one thing I really want. I want... (Y/n)-kun as my boyfriend.
...
"A-KI-RAAAAAAAAAAAA!" I exclaimed.
"(Y/. NNNNNNNNNNNNN)!" Akira exclaimed.
"OK, you both are weird as hell. I'm going back to Yahaba." Kindaichi said.
"What's up, bestie?" I asked, flicking my (h/l) (h/c) hair back.
"Nothin' much. How's it going with Laser-beam Line Shot Guy?" He asked.
"Oh, he wrote back today." I told Akira as I opened the letter.
"OK, do you wanna read it or?"
"You can read it out." I told him as I handed him the letter.
"OK, here goes. Dear, secret admirer. Who are you? Like, I'm really curious at this point. I asked (Y/n)-kun about who you are, I even made a list (of 4 people because I don't know that many people that (Y/n)-kun knows)! He said that you were none of the people I had listed out. If possible, can we meet up sometime or can you tell me who you are? Dearest, Tsutomu." Akira read. "Looks like you got under his skin." Akira laughed.
"Yeah. Tomorrow is his birthday, and I was planning to tell him that I'm the admirer... wait, I have a plan." I giggled.
"Oh? Let me in on it."
...
"Goshiki. He wrote back." I told him as I handed him the letter and returned to doing random stuff immediately. I was partially trying to hide my blush, but mainly I was just about to bust out laughing because of the plan.
"Oh! Thank you. Do you wanna read it too?" He asked.
"Just read it out loud." I told him as I turned back around to face him.
"Mhm! Dear, Goshiki. We can meet tomorrow if you're free. We can meet at the local Milkery Queen at 5.30. Best Wishes, your secret admirer." he read.
.
.
.
"OK, Akira, Goshiki should be here soon." I told him from across the transparent wall. We were sitting at tables next to each other, but there was a wall bordering us from each other. What we're doing is pretending that Akira is the secret admirer, while I listen in. Then Goshiki will go 'You're the secret admirer, how could I not have known' and then I'll walk to the other side and go, 'hah sike, this was a prank, I'm the admirer.' It's not the best but it's enough to get a reaction from Goshiki, which is exactly what we're looking for.
"Speak of him, he's already here." Akira said. He had fake blush on to make it believable and he has a very 'sick and nervous' face sometimes, but that's mostly because he hates socializing.
"Oh, Kunimi! What a coincidence!" Goshiki exclaimed. Akira looked up, the blush was noticeable.
"Hey..." he said.
Goshiki blinked. "Hold on... are you the secret admirer?" He asked. "How didn't I realize this."
Akira laughed uncontrollably. Goshiki was visibly confused by this. I felt this was the perfect moment, and Akira seemed to read my mind on that. "No, it's not me. Who do you think it is though?"
"Uh... I genuinely don't know."
"It's me, sucker." I said as I walked to Akira's table and sat down.
"Wait what?" Goshiki asked, probably more confused than before.
"I couldn't tell you that I have feelings for you to your face, so I decided to write a letter to you." I explained.
"... Oh my god, I never would've thought that you were the admirer." Goshiki sighed. "I love you... a lot."
"Me too, Goshiki. I love you too."

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey. The cover image was drawn by minyaxj, per my request, on a commercial license.
