"Say, Samu. You remember that homerun you hit at the Karasuno game?" Tsumu asked. I looked at him as I ate the sandwich and nodded.

"Yeah, what about it?"

"Well, now there's people hitting a real homerun," he laughed.

"What?" I asked as I looked behind me. There was the Inarizaki baseball team, practicing at lunch. There was the star player, and the captain, (L/n) (Y/n). He's a third year hitter who I happened to secretly have a crush on. I never let anyone know, though, not even Tsumu.

"Oh." I sighed.

"Wait, I got a dare for ya! I dare you to go flirt with the captain, (L/n) (Y/n)!" he shouted.

"What? Why should I do that?" I asked.

"I'll eat your onigiris if you don't." he taunted as he picked up the bag of onigiris I had.

"Don't you dare."

"Do the dare."

"Fine," I huffed as I got up, and walked into the baseball field. This is gonna be the cringiest thing I'll ever do in my life time, and I will never have a chance with him ever again, and I will forever hate Atsumu for this. I sighed, and walked right up to (Y/n) since he was on break. I already regret my life.

"Hey, handsome," I said as I cringed in my head at how awful that sounded.

"Oh, hey, cutie," he flirted back. What the hell, this isn't supposed to be like this. It was supposed to be me flirting, and him being confused, and telling me off. "What are you doing on this fine day, hm? Care to join our team?" he asked.

"No thank you. I'm on the volleyball team," I told him. He smirked, and got up.

"Volleyball, hm? I heard the guys on the team are pretty attractive, and you're no exception. For a matter of fact, you're probably prettier than all of them," he said. I looked at him, astounded. This definitely didn't take the right turn. Is it too late to back out? Wait, actually this is a chance I should take.

"Thank you," I thanked him. My face was probably red, and if I were to touch it, it'll probably burn my hand off.

"Well, you shouldn't thank me for being factual. And I should be the one thanking you for giving me a chance anyway." (Y/n) chuckled. I blushed, and nodded.

"Well, your welcome, I guess?"

"You're Miya Osamu, right?" He asked.

"Oh yeah." I told him.

"Ah, Atsumu said you like me? I don't know, he could be joking," (Y/n) laughed.

"Wait, how does he know? I never told anyone," I cringed.

"Oh so you do?" (Y/n) asked.

"Yeah, I thought it was obvious? I just called you handsome." I laughed.

"Right. And yeah, how does he know?"

"We can ask him." I told him.

"Yeah. Anyway, wanna go out?" He asked.

"Uh sure. I'm free Friday 8 pm." I told him.

"That's great." (Y/n) smiled.

"OI! (L/n), get back to practice!" The pitcher, Nakamura shouted.

"OK!" (Y/n) exclaimed. "Anyway, I'll see you."

"Yeah, see you." I smiled.

I ate my lunch as I looked at how the situation was going. See, I learned Samu's deepest, and darkest secret that he likes (L/n), the baseball player. How? I was dreaming one day, and I saw those two confessing to each other, and I just knew with my bottom baddie instinct that Samu liked (L/n). And so, with the new found information, I called my bestie, Oikawa who was (L/n)'s cousin, and he said that I need to make it happen. I saw Osamu walk back here, and with a red face, and smile, I can only assume it went well.

"So, how'd it go?" I asked.

"I'll be gone on Friday at 8 pm. Got a date to go to." Osamu said as he got his bags, and left.

"Oh my god, I need to tell Oikawa!" I exclaimed.
