《Haikyuu!! x Male reader one-shots》-Himekawa Aoi-

We lost to Karasuno. We came all the way here, but we lost in the first game. But it doesn't matter because I've found him, I've found the love of my life, or my childhood best friend, (L/n) (Y/n). He moved to Miyagi in his second year of middle school, and is now Karasuno's wing spiker. I walked to him after the game, and his team immediately noticed.
"Whatcha want, huh, punk?" the bald opposite hitter asked.
"Huh?" (Y/n) asked as he looked at me. "Oh hey Aoi!" he exclaimed, energetic as ever.
"You know the Tsubakihara guy, (Y/n)?" the Karasuno libero asked.
"Yeah, he's my friend. I always tell you guys about him, remember?" (Y/n) asked.
"Oh him!" A raven haired male said.
"Anyway, what's up, Aoi?" (Y/n) asked.
"It's been a long time, (Y/n). Wanna catch up sometime?"
"Sure! Oh by the way, these are my friends. This guy who called you a punk is Tanaka, this is Noya, our libero. And you can't forget the other second years, Enno, Kino, and Narita," (Y/n) said as he hugged all of them. "We're the Karasuno second years," he smiled.
"That's great! I'm Himekawa Aoi. (Y/n), do you wanna chat at 6 today?" I asked.
(Y/n) smiled, and nodded. "Of course. We have a lot of catching up to do," (Y/n) told me.
"Yeah. Hold on," I said as I gave (Y/n) a piece of paper with my new number on it. I wrote it on the way here.
"Thanks. I'll text you later, I have to go now." (Y/n) chuckled. "See you, Aoi."
"See you," I said as I flushed redder. Yeah, I have a crush on (Y/n), and he likes me, but we're not dating.

"(Y/n), you're pretty red," Kinoshita commented. I blinked at him, and grinned stupidly.
"Oh haha, I am?" I asked.
"Oh la la, looks like (Y/n) has a crush on Himekawa," Tanaka teased.
"Oh shut up," I rolled my eyes. "We're too old for this stuff." I commented.
"Sure," Noya teased.
"No, but seriously, do you like Himekawa?" Ennoshita asked.
"Oh no, not you too. But yeah, I do," I answered straight facedly.
"Oh cool." Narita commented.
"Does he know?" Kino asked.
"Yeah, he also likes me, but we're not dating." I told them.
"How come?" Noya asked.
"His parents are homophobic," I sighed.
"Oh..."
"It's fine, though. I already knew I couldn't pursue him." I sighed.
I sat alone on the sandpit on the playground. I didn't have any friends, I just preferred to be alone. But it was different this time.
"Hey, can I play with you?" a young brunette asked me. I looked up at him from my sand castle. I couldn't let him see how red my face was, so I looked away.
"Uh, sure..." I said as I looked back at my sandcastle, and put some pebbles on it.
"That's a beautiful sand castle! I'm Himekawa Aoi, by the way!" Aoi exclaimed.
"(L/n)... (L/n) (Y/n)." I said as I looked at the male I just learned was called Aoi.
"Nice to meet you, (Y/n)!"
We grew up as amazing friends, despite not being in the same year. I started to open up more as I grew older. I probably became that way because I mimicked Aoi's personality trait. I fell for him when I was in my third year of grade school. I confessed to him, being stupid as hell, but luckily Aoi accepted it, and we loved each other. We thought nothing could ever go wrong... that was until Aoi came out to his parents...

"Honey, you can't like boys. You're just confused." His mom said.
The next day, Aoi cried to me about it, and we decided to ignore them, and continue to pursue each other. But then I moved to Miyagi, and we haven't contacted each other since. I've never told anyone about my orientation, since I learned that it was dangerous, but my cousin, Asahi, said that there's nothing wrong with it. I was glad that he accepted me, since I was really close with him.
"(Y/n), where are you going?" Asahi asked.
"I'm visiting Aoi." I told him.
"Oh, it's 6!" Noya exclaimed.
"Mhm. Well I better go now, see you guys later!" I exclaimed as I made a run for it.
I arrived at the small park Aoi said we should meet up at. There Aoi was, on the small swing set in a pastel yellow shirt, and blue shorts, looking at his phone. I was wearing black ripped jeans with a grey shirt. I looked so emo now that I think about it.
"Hey Aoi!" I exclaimed. Aoi looked up, and smiled back at me.
"Hey, (Y/n)!" He exclaimed. I ran to the swing set, and sat next to Aoi.
"So what's up?" I asked him.
"Well, I don't know. I just wanted to catch up with you... it's been way too long." Aoi chuckled.
"Sure has," I laughed. We sat there looking at the sun set for a while before Aoi suddenly spoke up.
"Do you still love me?"
I looked at him, confused. "Yeah? Why?"
"I don't know, it's been a while, and I thought you'd get over me, and move on," Aoi sighed. "But I'm glad you still have feelings for me. I do too."
"Mhm. So how's your first year?" I asked.
"It's been fine. You know, there's this guy who wanted a rap battle with my captain..."
We chatted, and chatted for hours until we had to go, but before we went back to our teams, Aoi had a plan in mind.
"Hey, (Y/n)?" Aoi asked as we arrived at the inn Tsubakihara was supposed to be at.
"Hm, yeah?"
He kissed my cheek, and ran into the inn. I was left wide-eyed in front of the hotel for about 5 minutes before I started functioning again, and the only thing I could think while going back was "He kissed me."
