《Gone Boy》15

It was late into the night when Dabi broke his head away from Midoriya's shoulder, sighing.
"Thanks, kid." He said to the teenager. "You helped a lot."
Shigaraki was asleep, arms wrapped around Midoriya's waist and head on his chest, practically cuddled up on the boy.
Midoriya didn't blame him, the older man couldn't touch anyone with all five fingers for years.
But what Midoriya didn't know was that the last person who tried to hug Shigaraki was his mother right when his quirk manifested at four years of age. All Shigaraki wanted was to feel love, even from sensei. He just wanted to be held, and now that his quirk won't work on the teen, he had found a loophole.
A loophole to actually feeling desired and cherished. The small smile on his face was enough to tell that the bluenette was finally content.
He had found happiness finally.
In his last moments.
Dabi took a shaky breath and turned to look at the stars once more.
"Can you make it quick?" He asked the teen, "I'm ready but I just want it to be fast, ya'know? No more suffering."
Midoriya swallowed hard, a lump forming in his throat. "Yeah I'll make... it quick...no more su...suffering."
"Thank you." Dabi sniffed. Midoriya slowly slid from Shigaraki's death grip and moved to sit behind Dabi. Midoriya was weak, his body aching and adrenaline gone. He needs to use leverage to make up for his lack of muscle.
He slowly wrapped his left hand around Dabi's head and the other holding the shoulder back.
"Relax, it'll... be... okay now." He pushed the words out from between his lips.
Dabi slowly relaxed.
"I love...watching...the pretty...stars." Midoriya whispered.
"Me too, me too." Said Dabi, he looked at the stars longingly and sighed.

Quickly, Midoriya moved his hands and snapped the neck. Fast and painless.
Fast and painless.
Fast and.
Painless.
Dabi fell completely limp, and Midoriya moved him inside the house. He wanted to do something special for all the villains. To deliver one more act of kindness.
But before that, he needed to save the leader. He dropped Dabi off next to Mr. Compress, who was covered in deep burn marks and boils. His clothes were partially melted and his skin looked like it was oozing. Midoriya grimaced, he wished Compress had chosen a less painful death, but since he wanted to go end the show alone, Midoriya let him have his final wish.
No matter how much it hurt.
Slowly he turned and made his way back to the sleeping Shigaraki. He knew one thing for sure.
He didn't want to wake Shigaraki up.
He knew shigaraki had a horrible life, where peace was never given to him. Midoriya felt connected to him somehow, so he decided to let the leader enjoy his peaceful sleep. If all went well, Shigaraki wouldn't feel a thing.
He slid behind Shiaragri, pulling the man's head to his chest.
He used his right hand to slide back the adult's messy bangs.
He softly whispered, "You're not... a monster...you... are human...and loved." His voice broke and died out as he finished the sentence.
Like the flame of One for All crackling and popping before dying out.
He kissed Shigaraki's forehead before snapping the sleeping adult's neck.
He slowly picked up the leader and brought him into the old base.
With all the members laying on the floor, the base seemed a whole lot lonely. A whole lot darker. A whole lot emptier.
A whole lot sadder.
Midoriya wept, strangled sounds coming out of his mutilated mouth. A vague word sounded out in the dark base, "so--rry."

Touch
Touch is a story about a boy named James, and his friends: a group of young, superpowered people brought together by trauma; all trying, in their own ways, to come to terms with what that trauma means to them and who they want to be in response to it. This is a learning process, and mistakes are made, but they grow, learn, and adapt to these difficulties in ways that some might say only young people can. While it may look it at first, this is not intended as a sad story, merely an honest one. I wanted to make the characters human, and unfortunately, that means that difficulties hit them in very real ways through the story, but then again, they have some equally human moments of warmth between one another as they grow. Triggers: Explores the aftereffects and recovery process of sexual abuse, and some other forms of physical abuse. I like to think I avoided making it edgy, but you deserve to be informed. Some readers have told me that it can feel a bit too real at times. A bit too honest. If you like what you read, feel free to comment or review. I like the feedback. The Girl from the Mountain
Alexandra Bedford is a weapon, a young woman with telekinetic powers capable of leveling entire cities, born to fight in the desolate remains of post-apocalyptic North America. There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!

Falling
It is often unclear when a thing comes to an end, the world itself no exception. In the event of the world ending, it was both abrupt and unnoticed, something down right confusing to most involved. Due to this confusion, we will quickly cover the short window of events that led to the destruction of the generally known universe, following the primary instigators to hopefully give the whole thing a little much needed context. ... Author’s Note: I intend to release regularly, hopefully weakly, within the planned three arcs. However, it may go on hiatus between arcs, but it should be clear that an arc has ended. Regardless, I currently plan to go on hiatus after the third arc, which is intended to be a natural breaking point. This is with the hope of not dropping off in the middle of narrative, and I am mentioning it now so no one is surprised if there are planned pauses. Content Warnings: I do not plan to include anything I would see as profanity, gore or traumatizing content. However, I do expect my bar for what qualifies is both above some people’s and below others. Therefore, I am including the Content Warnings so people are not surprised when my view is different. If you find something you do not like, I wish you luck in moving on without it farther concerning you. If I was not as extreme as you were hoping, I apologize for not meeting expectations. I have not marked sexual content, since I do not intend to include explicit sexual acts. However, sex and sexuality still exists and may come up as both an offscreen event or subject. Cover Art: The art work is by me, and I will take it down immediately at request from the artist.
