《Gone Boy》11

Shigaraki was stupefied. He had no clue what was going on, but UA brat number one was sitting at his bar at his lair. And boy was the young adult pissed. He looked at Kurogiri who, even though no face was visible, could be seen expressing pure shock.
Slowly he nodded and went to grab the drink.
"What the heck?" Asked Dabi under his breath.
"Aren't you too young to drink that? I can't show you magic and get a good reaction if you're drunk." Asked Compress.
Midoriya turned around to look at the villains, dead eyes meeting their own.
What....happened to him?
Shigaraki paused, could this be their chance to make the UA brat a villian? A slow smirk enveloped his facial features as he reminisced the pros of having a UA spy.
Dabi was slightly concerned, wasn't this a UA student? Why did he look so frail? Dabi could clearly see the bones of the poor kid, like said boy had been intaking nutrients, just not enough for him to maintain any extra weight. The kid's round eyes were practically cut in half because of the dead stare he was giving. Not to mention the sunken cheeks, pale complexion, and dark eyebags.
The League hasn't attacked much recently, so why does the kid look like that?
Twice was observing everything from his station in the corner. He felt safer when he could see all around him in times like this. He didn't need his clones tapping him on the back as he analyzed situations. He was always so scared of himself that it was concerning.
Toga jumped down the stairs and began looking around after hearing the noise of video games cease. She spots Midoriya picking up a glass of Vodka and sipping a small portion of it.

In a fit of insanity she pulled out her knife out of nowhere and flung it at the kid only for the projectile to be swatted away by the teenager's hand.
Toga humphed and walked the rest of the path to the couch and plopped down.
Izuku finished his glass before sighing and slumping into the bar seat. He crossed his arms on the table and laid his head down. He wanted to rest before the show went down.
"Why are you here?" Asked a hesitant Spinner. He knew Stain liked the kid, yet the reptile was still nervous.
"Because I'm not going back to UA." Was the curt response.
Another hostile silence was left after Midoriya's words.
"...why?" Asked Dabi, picking at one of the many burns on his hand.
Shigaraki looked forward, still in video game mode and analyzing the skill sets gained if he collected Midoriya for his team.
"I have a job to do."
"And you came to villians?" Asked Comprass slowly. He was fatally confused. He might just faint, afterall this twist of events made him slightly lightheaded.
Midoriya just groaned, annoyed at talking too much. He didn't want to talk. At the moment he wanted to sleep.
"You are going to join the League of Villains." Announced Shigaraki. He puffed his chest as he had figured out why the teen was there. He told the league he was a smart leader, and he was the first to guess correctly in the game. He wins! And with this new ally he officially won! He did it! Sensei will be so proud!
The villains under him looked at him in confusion, however their looming gazes allowed their leader to swell with pride.
"No. I'm simply here to end this." A muffled voice said to Shigaraki.

Some members, including Dabi, began laughing as they watched Shigaraki deflate and realize the true meaning behind the greenette's words. The teenager was here to end the League.
A few villains resumed fighting stances and faced the hunched over team. Shigaraki was fuming, puffs of smoke coming out of his red ears. He had been made a fool of. By a pesky UA brat no less.
As his red hot anger bubbled up he began to twitch his hand until he finally lunged at the unsuspecting teen.

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe. You can read them here: Dark Fantasy Short Stories.

To survive, they will learn the Forms. To endure, the Forms will change then. To gain power - power beyond all mortal ken - they must Wield the Forms. Wield the Forms. Define the Infinite. This is a work in progress. Writing for this novel is currently performed during brief snatches of free time, mistakes are inevitable. I am more than happy to take advantage of free editing, so please, editorialize away; I'll take it all on board. I'll be going back to clean up chapters I've already published fairly regularly, and I'll do my best to let all of you readers know whenever that happens. Updates at least once a week, most likely on Tuesdays and/or Fridays.
