The best quirkless doctor in the country was having issues helping his newest patient. After quite a few years of being doused with newer, better medical equipment made by quirks it was weird trying to both research which items were made by use of quirks and which were not.
It doesn't matter if a quirk shrunk the equipment, it still wouldn't work.
If a quirk helped sharpen a needle by a microscopic amount then Izuku's skin would seemingly be made of rock. The needle would be repelled.
It was fascinating and reminded the doctor of two north magnets being pushed together. But it was overall infuriating.
This--this child is in critical condition and nothing that has been remotely touched by a quirk can help him.
Doctor Shibuya was annoyed to say the least. So he called in a few friends in an attempt to help the poor kid out.
