Kuroo's lips parted once a heavy lack of ecstasy sigh escaped his lips, hands in both the pockets of his uniform pants, his head thrown back whilst his eyes were closed shut - slight disappointment once he had received an early text message from his coach, achieving the knowledge of finding out their gymnasium was going to be used by the school's basketball team. It only vexed the bedhead more once he took notice Nekomata along with his own teammates had no protests, no'r were they really against it.
It was only a couple more days ti'll their numerous practice matches against different schools all around, he along with his team should be precisely doing their usual morning activities right about now, but it was replaced with the basketball team instead. Leading for the volleyball player's to only continue their practices after school, which was the understanding statement they needed to follow through. Not to mention the basketball team had to stay for atleast 2 weeks in the gymnasium before their own court was fixed, apparently the floorboards were completely shut down and the school had to rebuild in such a short amount of time.
Fixating his glance, Kenma seemed to noticed the slight tension his demeanour frame was visibly radiating. The dark aura around the captain's figure was enough evidence for the setter beside him to assume a conclusion that Kuroo was indeed, pissed. Making Kenma sigh, lowering his phone from eye-level, giving a side glance towards the ravenette.
"It isn't all that bad, we still get to practice afterschool..its only 2 weeks after all.." though his 'reassurance' only seemed to add more fuel towards the blocker's irritation, seeing the calm stare swiftly changing into a somewhat vicious glare, hands clenched tight along with Kuroo's teeth gritting. Kenma only feeling disappointment weigh down his shoulders once he had realised he only made the situation worse, in result of him wearing a small frown.
"Are you kidding me?! 'only two weeks'?! That's like a decade! I don't even know a single member of the school's basketball team! They're probably not even THAT famous." the setter could only slowly bring his device back up to his view, his eyes solely focused on the game laid down infront of him, his fingers clicking the screen softly yet briskly - Kuroo's words only entering, and exiting in the other ear. Ignoring and giving no hint of care for whatever the bedhead had to nag about in the first place.

"What's Kuroo yelling about?" Kenma hummed, giving a quick glance towards their team's libero - curiosity laced around his voice and his orbs showing slight confusion. "Wait, nevermind don't tell me. He's probably ranting about that again.." Yaku interjected entirely, taking evident notice of what his captain was blowing off a fuse about; referring towards the gymnasium situation. In all honesty, Yaku did get a bit clouded and exasperated once he had heared the news, but the school's basketball team was truly something to admire and respect - so he couldn't help but feel clear apathetic.
"Oh come on Yaku, don't tell me you're actually 'okie dokie' with this thing." "the libero could only narrow his orbs, his eyes rolling after he brought a hand over to his forehead. Disappointed of what Kuroo's words were making troubles about. "Yes I'm 'okie dokie' with it. Why are you so affected anyways? They only get to practice an hour a day despite having a game this weekend, while we still have about 2 or more." the bedhead huffs as a discontinued response, looking away with a salty expression plastered on his features.
"I'm affected because I'm the cap—wait, repeat what you said." his reasoning briskly turned to a snarky order, his gaze snapping towards the confused libero almost immediately transitioning his words of events. Yaku placing a hand on the back of his nape in reluctance, "Why are you so affected about it?"
"No, after that."
"They only get to practice an hour despite having a match this weekend?"
"Those losers actually got a match? Wow." Yaku seemed to irk, arms crossed in a way of evident sass, clesly surprised by the ravenette's choice of statement. "What do you mean by losers? They earned our school numerous trophies!" he bragged, defending the chosen victims of Kuroo's insults. "You don't need to know everything!" the bedhead responded, eyebrows ceased along with his face surprisingly heating up in visible embarassment. Which only caused the libero's curiosity and questions to break out, glancing towards the occupied setter.
"Why's he all worked up?" Yaku questioned, suspicion laced around his sift gentle voice as he did so - an eyebrow raised whilst impatiently waiting for Kenma to speak out. "He used to date their captain in middle school. Uncharacteristically, Kuroo got too jealous by his fangirls and broke up with him. He's just salty about the basketball team because his ex is their captain..and Kuroo still clearly likes him."

"I didn't get jealous! And no, I don't like that bastard anymore."
"What he said.." Kenma sarcastically retorts, feeling slightly agitated from just simply hearing Kuroo's unbelievable (pathetic) excuses of a so-called defensive state, the blocker's shoulders tensing up along with his whole body visibly stiffening once Yaku had voiced out his own personal thoughts and ideal. "I thought you said you liked long haired?"
"He likes both..he can even go for bald if its [M/—]" a hand slapped over Kenma's mouth, interrupting his paused reply - making the libero flinch in his spot in slight surprise upon seeing Kuroo's exasperated and flustered look. It was a sight Yaku didn't get to see often, the bedhead never really showed signs of being embarrassed or flushed.
"Kenma, stop it. You're making me out of character."
"I don't control your body."
"Then shut up.." the libero only yet simply shaked his head lightly, a smile of visible mischief tugging on the beds of his lips, a clicking and bright though entering his mind full of fantasies as he made eye contact with the blocker in just one briskful move of his hand. "What if we watch their match together? It would be fun, cheering for our school yeah?"
"#1, red. Foul!" Kuroo let's out his hyena laugh - which he obviously forced out, though his concern never left his expression once he only eyed you chuckle your way out of your coach's yells and scolds, the smirk tugging at the hems of your lips were enough sights to conclude you were being nonchalant about what you had just did, pushing the opponent by will wasn't really the best idea.
"Isn't that [M/n]'s third foul?" Yaku questioned, hands dangling from the metal railing which Kenma replied with a short cursty nod and hum of agreement. "Yeah, thankfully his coach still sticks with placing him in the zone.." the libero nodded eagerly, a wide smile appearing on his face in a way of showing his proud motherly aura, amusement along with amazement lacing around his euphoric demeanour.
"[M/n]'s amazing isn't he? He could make a three-point shoot look easy! I would be lying if I say I'm not fond of him already," Kuroo clicked his tounge, hearing all sorts of compliments the people behind him were loudly pointing out, even he was silently agreeing.
"What's so good about [M/n] anyways? The only thing that makes him popular is his looks." a smirk of mockery appeared on Kuroo's face once he met your eyes, fully aware he had fully caught your attention. Your silence was taken as a chance for him to continue, Kuroo looking away - his grin never leaving as a sign of satisfactory. "I won't be surprised if they loose this." Yaku turned to the bedhead slowly, a finger pointing towards your smirking figure.
"Uh, Kuroo—"
"I mean, they can win this without [M/n]."
"Kuroo.."
"He's the captain sure, but he's not that good."
"Oh my god-"
"What now Morisuke?" Kuroo questioned, a tick mark visible on his forehead as he glanced towards the team's libero - an eyebrow irking up words in curiosity once seeing the beet red expression Yaku had unknowingly wore. "What's up with you? You look like Yamamoto but worse." Yaku simply jabbed a finger over towards the court, making Kuroo hum silently before following his gaze.
His mouth agape, seeing the score '109-12', when did your team win without him taking notice?! Wait, how did you even win that fast?!
"What the hell?! What's happened?!"
He turned to look at you, his jaw dropping to the ground along with his cheeks heating up in a color of scarlet red, seeing you without your red Jersey, the shirt in your hand as you walked over to their sides of the bleachers, looking up with a grin; you threw the Jersey directly towards the bed head's face, leaving him to smell your scent.
"Dear Tetsurou, what happened is that you caught feelings for me." he could only push your Jersey over to his side, an exasperated look on his face once you two had eye contact. "Damn you! How are you more cocky than me?!"
"Learned from the best, you know if you never got jealous you would probably be cheering my name."
"I did no such thing!"
"So formal~"
