"Agasheee!" with the shout echoing through their shared home, the editor's lips parted once a quick yet heavy sigh escaped his lips, his head swiftly snapping towards the wooden floorboards, seeing the soft firm mattress placed on the ground along with their adoptive daughter sleeping soundly, your hands clasped together - eyes shut closed, composure showing tranquility - the serene and reposeful bliss your demeanour radiated only alarmed Akaashi that you were still asleep. Unaffected by the shout Bokuto had harshly yelled out.
The ravenette quietly stood up from his seat, avoiding any possibilities of waking your hushed figure up. Seeing as you wore a small smile on your face whilst soft silent snores escaped your lips, making the manga editor smile slightly - crouching down a few degrees as a hand extended over to your [h/c] strands, giving it a few gentle strokes before grunting - standing up with a yawn escaping afterwards.
Akaashi turned, pushing his glasses up as he started to walk a few steps towards the door; stopping once he feels a soft grip grasping on his leg, his head looking downwards to see what the suspect was. His surprised expression transitioning into his usual one, an eyebrow irked upwards in small curiosity upon seeing you there with a hand on one of your eye, rubbing in a way of showing visible exhaustion. "Dad..is papa here?" you questioned, a feeling of ecstacy building and brightening up once the ravenette had sheepishly nodded in approval as a silent response.
"Agasheee! Where are you!? I bought the one and only.." there was a short dramatic pause in the white-close to gray haired male's sentence, both you and Akaashi flinching and stiffening in your positions once heavy footsteps were heared stomping closer towards the room you two were in. The ravenette making the conclusion and assumption it was Bokuto himself making his way rather carelessly towards the location he wanted to be in.

"Y/n-San, move backwards a bit." Akaashi warned, following his own instructions once he had the full awareness you had followed through his short orders, arms crossed in a way of showing patience as both of you stayed hushed - hearing the stomps growing louder as seconds grow, the ground practically shaking from the weight the volleyball player was giving.
"Papa?" you called out in a questioning tone, Akaashi averting his eyes from the door towards you with a small smile in a briskful moment, giving you a hint of amusement and care once you two had made direct eye contact. "Did you miss Papa?" the ravenette asked back, crouching down to your level - his smile never leaving his face as he took the time to admire his own pretty daughter, wondering on why he got so lucky with the family he achieved.
"Yes! Papa is always gone these days, I missed Papa—"
"I BOUGHT GODLY MEAT!" Akaashi flinched in his current spot, holding the ground after a few stumbles of struggles - an aggravated look on his face once him and the opposite hitter had made loving eye contact, his tensed body calming down once seeing each other's presence. A wide bright smile on the volleyball player's face, seeing his boyfriend and daughter in the same room and time was one of his biggest weakness and wishes.
"Papa! Hey hey hey!" Akaashi deadpanned, watching as Bokuto threw his bag somewhere in the room whilst crouching down with open arms, the widened shining grin on his face was enough evidence to conclude he was exploding with nothing but euphoric excitement, taking you into a tight hug as he lifts you up from the ground - feeling both of your feet being lifted off the wooden floorboards, being turned around in the air as the gray haired opposite hitter could only laugh along with your ecstatic state.

Akaashi couldn't help but hum in evident delight, glancing towards his computer to notice the unfinished worksheet and remaining chapters he had left on pause, a frown interrupting the smile in his face once he remembers the near deadline of his own edits. A heavy disappointed sigh escaping his lips, his finger tips pushing the hem of his glasses.
"You guys go and eat, I'll finish this today." the cheery atmosphere shrank down visibly, both you and Bokuto could only watch as Akaashi made his way back to his soft chair, his knuckles cracking before the two of you could only hear the sounds of both the mouse and keyboard clicking repeatedly. Not taking your attention off the ravenette for even a quick second, making the editor pout a bit - but nonetheless continued what he had drafted.
"Agashe, come on! This is barbecue we're talking about!"
"Please dad!" hearing you and the volleyball player's pleads, he couldn't help the sorrowful sigh that was destined to escape his nearly dry lips, glancing over by his shoulder with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry Koutaro-San, Y/n-San. The deadline is nearly du—"
"Agasheee!"
"Bokuto-S—"
"Akaashiii!"
"Bokut—"
"Akaashi."
"Bok—"
"Keiji."
"I—"
"Dad, pleaseee?" He looked down beside him, seeing your [e/c] orbs shining through in a way of pleading him in silence, the quivering pout plastered on your lips along with some strands of your hair covering the view of your unique skin color, making Akaashi's brows slightly furrow. His eyes going over towards Bokuto, to see him doing the exact same impersonation of your expression.
The ravenette looked back at his computer, before standing up, nodding with a soft smile of approval and agreement on his face. "Alright, let's eat together." he could only chuckle in amusement once you jumped happily in the air, Bokuto somehow twerking in evident shining glee, walking closer to Akaashi before giving him a peck on the lips.
"Stawphh and let's just eat meat!!" you covered your eyes, running away from the embarrassed editor and giggling volleyball player, slamming the door shut as you made your way downstairs. A small laugh escaping your lips afterwards.
"My parents are so cute!"
"DAMN RIGHT WE AREEE!"
"Bokuto-San.."

8 69The Art of Being Entreri
A Fanfiction involving Artemis Entreri. This story takes place after The Silent Blade and takes Entreri in an entirely different direction than the published novels. Entreri wants to abandon his old life and escape the drow elves that now dominate his existence. He travels to a distant land to find a new beginning, but his dark past has a way of following him. In this new environment, he is without rival and quickly discovers that his only chance of a normal life is to live under the radar. But an evil magic is awakening in this virgin land, and when people come to him for help, Entreri needs to decide what he is willing to fight for. For readers who are familiar with Artemis Entreri, this story starts an alternative timeline for the deadly assassin. For others who are not familiar with the source material, this can be read as a story of a veteran assassin wishing to retire, as, after the first chapter, very little knowledge of what came before is necessary.
