"Y/n-Chan, why are you always outside at night? don't your parents know?" the bedhead questioned, seated next to your tranquil composed figure. looking up towards the pitch black sky, small stars that shined, helping the bright moon illuminate the areas around them. Tress swaying from the cold breeze that flew by, no vehicles were seen from where they were. at the top of a mountain, it was nothing but peace and pacific halcyon.
You glanced over to the young male, head rested on top of your palm before you extended your free hand over to the paper that was on the ground, swiftly giving a motion towards Kuroo, showing him the picture you drew quite messily, but understandable in some way. "I've never seen a shooting star before, my mommy and daddy said they saw one. So why can't I?" your brief sentence faltered once a frowny question came inside your young mind, Kuroo staying quiet and doing nothing but staring at the picture laid before his eyes in slight yet visible amusement by your words.
"have you seen one, Kuroo?" you dismissed the question you had asked earlier, replacing it with a new one as you made eye contact with the bedhead beside you. Which he responded with a small geniune smile, looking up towards the sky once his eyes averted. "no, it sounds cool though." your smile evidently widened, eyes brightening up once the light had hit your [e/c] orbs. Shining from ecstacy and euphoria once you hear his response.
"isn't it?! I see it in movies alot, but I've never seen one..unfair isn't it?" you turned to avert your eyes over towards the night sky, meeting the bright moon that shined upon Tokyo. "i always come here..but I never get the chance to witness on, I wish I could see it just one time.." Kuroo then stopped his thoughts, glancing over to your angel figure. Head tilted but his eyes were filled with determination.

He held both of your hands tightly, making you turn towards him in slight surprising, seeing his aura was fueled with gas and fire mixed together. Something in his heart whispering words to speak out, his smile yelling credence and strong confidence.
"I promise I'll fullfish your wish Y/n-Chan! Take my word for it!"
"ouch, my back!" you complained, dropping the box on the ground as Kenma chuckled at your whining state, his black with blonde end tips slightly covering his smooth pale skin, his hands inside the pockets of his black hoodie, watching you move around your things and the personal items that belonged to you.
"I'm the one who makes videos and sit around all day, yet you're the one who's back is aching? How ironic." he commented teasingly, walking over once he blew the hair strands that covered his view. Crouching down to take the box in his hands, a playful small smile plastered on his lips, seeing the exhausted expression on your face. He couldn't help but feel a hit sympathetic from making you work all day, but truthfully, it's kinda your fault for moving in with him in the first place.
"How was Argentina? We last saw each other in the 3rd year's graduation, right?" Kenma questioned, groaning once he almost tripped on his own foot. Glancing towards your tired figure in curiosity, "It was fine I guess, met Hinata over there along with Oikawa." the livestreamer turned his head in amusement, "Aw yeah, he told me."
"Why are you always so advanced?!" you questioned loudly, earning a sheepish chuckle from him, shrugging his shoulders. "phones." irking, throwing a random item towards his face, he nonchalantly dodged by moving towards the side in one brisk movement. "But anyways, thanks for letting me stay in the mean time." he smiled at you, placing the heavy box down on the ground, giving you a look of reassurance.

"Its not a big deal, you have no place to stay while I'm pretty lonely, seems legit." you hummed, snickering yet silently laughing at his reply. You were lucky enough that Kenma had agreed in letting you stay with him, or else you would be walking in the streets with luggage in hand. "anyways, I need to post later on, take care of the house while I'm streaming. 'Kay?" you placed your hand on your forehead, a sign of salute with a bright wide smile.
"of course!" he simply nodded in approval, walking over to your direction before ruffling your hair.
"Don't break the roof."
A small sigh escaped your lips, looking at the dark sky laid infront of your [E/c] orbs, stars helping the moon to illuminate the houses and certain tress in your field of vision. Soft crickets sounds reached your ears in a soothing manner, Kenma had already started shooting a few minutes ago. Meaning you had no one to talk to except for yourself, the scenery just reminded you of your childhood with Kuroo, it was pleasant and quite nostalgic.
A few hours had already passed yet your wish hadn't been fulfilled yet, leading you to your own exhaustion as you stood up on your feet. Ready to walk back inside before seeing a familiar figure standing infront of you, blocking your way and view. "Ku..roo?"
"Didn't you say you wanted to see a shooting star?" you remained speechless, mouth agape in surprise and the feeling of overwhelming yourself had washed and flooded your emotions. Seeing the bedhead right before your eyes, he extends both of his hands to hold your shoulders - forcibly turning you around to once again face the bright night sky.
You found the same canvas, nothing but the stars and shining moon was brought upon your field of vision. Leading to your disappointment as you let out a small yet heavy sigh, "Kuroo..theres nothing the—" your eyes grew wide in amusement, seeing a ray of light flowing gracefully in the sky, the small bright light the end tips had made your heart flutter.
Kuroo shifted behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist in a swiftul move. "Shooting stars are beautiful, aren't they?" He quetsione din a husky tone, placing his chin on your shoulder whilst a small smirk appears on his face, feeling the excitement around your body once his words escaped him.
"It is.."
OMFG I'M DISAPPOINTED AT MYSELF, I'M SO SORRY DARLING

Mage Among Superheroes
Turlough is a mage. He also happens to be an orc, generally lauded as being less intelligent than humans. He was unfortunately born with the Curse of the Barbarian, meaning that he can’t level up except through combat- which greatly hinders his ability to show he can be a proper mage. In a world with necromancers, dragons, invading armies, and all sorts of other monsters he would still be able to advance quickly, but unfortuantely… that world is not his world. An unprecedented peace reigns across the land, and in the last several decades there’s been little use for people capable of fighting- and thus little reason for people to fight him. So when he sees a portal in his master’s study he takes it, hoping to find a horde of demons or something equally foolish to combat at low level. But instead he ends up in a strange city full of skyscrapers and people running around in colorful outfits. Superheroes- and of course supervillains as well. What dangers and opportunities could await him in such a strange and unfamiliar world? Only time will tell. Inspired by many things in the superhero genre, and Super Minion specifically- though while the setting will share some standard elements, it is an original setting that will hopefully be as engaging as many of the other universes. Schedule: One chapter each Monday/Thursday, approx. 2000 words.

Dungeon Devotee
Through all of Linaria, no dungeon holds such a grip on the dreams of men as the Eternal Depths. Hundreds throw themselves against its trials each day. Dozens survive, walking away with power and wealth beyond their wildest dreams… until they go back for more. One way or another, they all eventually feed the Depths. Edmund Montgomery Ahab has sworn to destroy it. Underleveled, undertrained, and underprepared, Edmund steps into the maw of the world’s greatest predator, a sword in his hand and vengeance on his mind. At first his task seems impossible, but with every level he earns, every piece of loot that drops, every secret he uncovers, and especially every bit of power he can squeeze from his mysterious connection to the Aspect of Madness, Edmund crawls closer to accomplishing that insurmountable feat. With nothing else to lose, Edmund has already given the Depths his life. All that remains to be seen is whether he takes the dungeon’s right back. Dungeon Devotee is an episodic serial. It will never be taken down for KU. Each chapter details a single floor of Edmund’s journey through the vast Eternal Depths, with all the levels and loot and lack of cliffhangers that entails. New chapters come out on the first of each month.
