《haikyuu x reader》❥Kyotani Kentaro

❥title: Oikawa's cousin
❥story: fluff
❥warnings: YA'LL ALREADY USED TO THIS
➳--★--➳
Dating Kyotani was somewhat an interesting journey, you've only been together for a few weeks. Though your relationship with each other were kept as a secret, scandals and problems weren't a big deal for the both of you, but Oikawa was someone you don't want sharing things with - especially on how dramatic and exaggerated he could be when it comes to things
Now, the brunette wasn't only a queen of dramatic entrances or sentences. He would literally flip out when he would find out about your relationship with Kyotani - not that he was going to be all angry and disappointed or any of that negativity. Oikawa was just..somehow close to a crackhead.
Though the secret wasn't just hidden to the captain, it goes for the same thing with the rest of the team as well. Excluding Iwaizumi since he accidentally walked in on the two of you making out in the locker room when you visited - which he felt quite guilty and bad about, but he nonetheless irked and decided to scold the both of you for "pda."
Let's just say both you and Kyotani always felt embarassment whenever the ace walks pass or even talk to you after the small little incident awhile back. No one really suspected a thing between the two of you, Kyotani was surprisingly a good actor when it comes to being "Normal" around you.
Not to mention your personalities don't fit each other at all, both of you were completely the opposite but thats what attracts that two of you together anyways.
It was just the usual morning activities for the volleyball team, after beating Karasuno High in their last match before - they have been practicing like absolute mad-lads, seeing as they barely won anyways.
Oikawa was still not in the gymnasium yet, much to no one's surprise really. He was always late because of his fangirls, so it shouldn't be a huge thing to be concerned about.
The ace bent down after noticing a volleyball rolling in the ground infront of the gym doors, trying to pick it up before the door flew open, surprising Iwaizumi - who almost fell face flat on his face - as he glared towards the brunette.
"Baby cousin is coming~" a grunt was heard from Kyotani after he literally froze in air, missing the ball that he was supposed to hit and landed ontop of his head anyways. Matsukawa and Hanamaki holding their mouth to sniffle in a laugh, obviously witnessing what just happened.

Clicking his tounge whilst rubbing the top of his head, he glanced over to the two captains near the door-way, Iwaizumi already eye contact with the scowl faced male, which he responded with a quiet growl as he mouthed a 'don't.' referring to be quiet and secretive on the chemistry between the two of you.
The ace just rolled his eyes, nodding his head. He already knew what to do anyways. Just hit Oikawa on the head if he suspects something, or have the team throw more 30 volleyballs towards his face [which is something he would actually love to see].
Unknown to the team, Kyotani was small yet noticeable smile that crept up on his face, he would actually see you once again. Sometimes, he would get irritated by remembering the fact you don't go to Aoba Johsai, but your his anyways. So it doesn't really matter.
"She should be here in a few seconds."
"Excuse me? A few wha-" the gym door burst open, revealing a female with a wide soft yet bright smile, H/c hair and her shiny E/C orbs, her aura was nothing but flowers, clouds and all that peaceful things you can think of.
Your lover almost melted down upon seeing you, but kept his 'cAlm' composure anyways, doing his best to avoid suspicion.
"Y/n-Chaaaaannn~" your cousin sang, both his index fingers touching together as he sways his body from side to side, a happy demeanour coming off of him as he finally got the chance to see once again - after being separated for just a few weeks, he seemed rather excited upon seeing you once again. You didn't mind though, you were just as enlivened as he was.
Those actions and words seem rather familiar.. But oh well. Not like it mattered in the first place anyways.
The wing spiker had his eyes glued to you for a few solid seconds before realising he was staring longer than he should have, shaking his head a she broke his eyes off of your figure, and proceeded to continue his paused activities.
Sometimes, he would visibly get the tendency of beating one of his teammates up. Especially Yahaba, considering Kyotani found out about his little 'liking' towards you that Iwaizumi had to talk it over - in private - to prevent the male from strangling the other.
Obviously he did mind it, the team loved you "tOo mUch" quoted by the male himself, that you had to send him more than 400 reassuring messages and 21 calls to calm his nerve down somehow - which fortunately worked. If it didn't, then that's a shame isn't it.

Throwing the ball up in the air, Kyotani grunted as he jumped - hitting the ball with such strength that your glance tore apart from your own cousin and the ace who tried his best not to kick him.
Hearing repetitive claps, he rolled his eyes but immediately regretted it after noticing it was you - he shot you a quick grin and softened his glare, avoiding unknown possibilities to accidentally make you sad or something.
Yahaba made his way towards the wing spiker, a rather familiar look in his eyes as he stares at you from afar. Which Kyotani unfortunately noticed, but kept quiet about it anyways.
"She's really pretty isn't she?" the setter points out, a hand on his hip as he does so. The spiker blankly glared at the other male, clicking his tounge quietly - but agreed internally anyways.
The light brown haired male let's out a hopeful sigh, "What if I throw a ball to over direction so she can notice me?"
Unbelievable. Your lover thought as he shrugs. "Dunno, I don't really care." Yahaba snickered at his reply, nodding before taking the ball in Kyotani's hand, which made the wing spiker shoot him a scowl.
Throwing it over to your direction, in his mind - it would roll on the ground and you would pick it up, walk over to him and just suddenly ask for his number or something close to his fantasies and stories.
Instead of that, the momentum was too far and strong - it headed towards your face as you didn't have time to shield your arms around—
*BAAM!*
"Fuck, the hell was that for!?" Kyotani scolded after grabbing the ball rather effortlessly onto his hand, an irritated tone of voice plastered on as he questioned.
"S-sorry L/n!" Oikawa opened his mouth to speak up before realising the event, glancing over to both you and the wing spiker - his hand holding one of yours as he looks around your face for any damages done. Clearly forgetting the fact you two were in the gymnasium with the rest.
"Mad Dog-Chan you—"
"You almost hit her!" he shouted, referring to Yahaba who was still currently embarrassed of his own actions. "I'm gonna kill him," he added on quietly, enough for the brunette to hear otherwise.
You giggled, patting the top of his head gently. Which he didn't mind, he loved your head pats anyways. "You need a setter and a pinch server in match, Kyo."
"Clearly not him," he sassed, glaring over to the setter who was curious of what the vicious stare was for - no not really, he was most likely questioning on why Kyotani was protective of you. Especially with your hands holding.
"Why is Kyotani holding Y/n's hand?" Oikawa asked - pointing over to your hands, not even bothering to use the nickname he himself created for the spiker.
The ace rolled his eyes, "Everyone is blind apparently."
"Literally or..?"
"Shut up." Iwaizumi interjected, clicking his tounge in irritation towards the brunette. The vice captain just sighed heavily, jabbing his thumb towards the net.
"Come on, it's not break time yet. So get your asses back." Oikawa gave a quick raised eyebrow towards his childhood best friend, only to just agree when he felt the vicious stare that practically burned holes into him - following behind him in reluctancy.
Kyotani let's out a quick sigh of relief, averting his attention back to you. "Just sit and look cute, but again that's just you." he commented before quickly jogging away from your grinning figure.
"WAAAHH!! IWA-CHAN! MAD-DOG IS KISSING Y/N IN THE LOCKER ROOM!"
"again..? I already scolded them last time."
"I KNOW I-wait.. AGAIN?!"
"Shut up and just wait for him to finish or something."
"SINCE WHE—"
"Hah?"
"N.. Nothing."

The Heart Grows
Dungeon games? Yeah, they're a good way to waste a few hours. The trick is to know the map and plan appropriately. Of course, it doesn't matter if you get beaten. You revise your plan for that map and do a bit better next time. Man, it'd really suck to wake up as a dungeon heart in a fantasy world you know nothing about, barely able to even work out how to control your dungeon. Lucky that wouldn't happen to anybody, huh? What with only having one chance at getting things right, you'd have to plan extra-defensive. This story should be getting chapters published weekly. I have a comfortable buffer set up and on top of the weekly writing I am committing, a commissioner has donated two monthly writing slots to ensure this remains on a weekly schedule. There will be a stat block at the beginning of every chapter bar the first, and a handy map at the end. All my works come with a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. This means you are free to download, publish, and even make derivative works of my writing so long as you include this license, attribution, and don't sell the works. Keep it free!

Reincarnated as a Troll in a Dark Fantasy World
A troll wakes up in the "forest of beginning" of a fantasy world with only faint memories of his past human life and unable to speak. The human realm will spare no expense to bring down this monstruous threat. While clinging to his humanity, the troll must use his cunning and modern knowledge to survive and evade the hunters. It is a dark age in a world of swords and magic, ruled by superstition and iron-clad rules. Tradition and conformity are the absolute cornerstones of society. There is no calendar, people count time by seasons, or days. Death, famine and vicious monsters are everywhere. People clutch in their communities, afraid of what is outside. Here and there, a Hero rises, his tale brief like a shooting star. Powerful monsters that drift too close to human's realm must be eradicated at any cost, or society might crumble. The Troll comitted this sin. This "isekai' LitRPG novel is an experiment in writing. We commit to the "Adventure" and "Fantasy" genres, but it might have comedy, romance, and both dark and light tones. Some events in this novel are drawn from random encounter generators and others are decided on a die roll just like a tabletop RPG. Things take a unpredictable tone! Non constructive / offensive comments may be deleted without previous warning. Daily Updates: One each monday through friday, two on saturday and sunday. As of september, the updates will be every even-numbered day. Cover Credits: "Ett gammalt bergtroll" - John Bauer, 1904 (with modifications)

Magician's Pact
A young boy with a special key finds himself caught up with an old wizard, an ancient prohpecy, and a possibly conspercy. This sounds like the sort of thing most childern would love to be a part of, but there are just three small problems. The first is that he is not the hero. Someone already got that role. The second is that he isn't a wizard. He is a Magician which complicates things. The third is that there might be a chance that the whole 'problem' might be comming from his end. Personally he never understood (or interacted with) the 'secret' magical world, but that becomes a problem when the magical world apparently has what his role is supposed to be according to their ancient book... and they are not to happy about him not matching their book. Still it shouldn't be to hard right? All he has to do is go to a school, learn some wizard magic, make sure nobody takes his key... also avoid dying. Thankfully he has had a lot of expereince with that last part and a bunch of Twig Twirling childern can't be too dangerious? Right?
