❥title: irritating

➳——★——➳
If there's one person who could annoy the probably most irritating, shady and salty person in the whole school - Tsukishima Kei - it would be most definitely you.
As much as he hates to admit it, his salty remarks were no match for your responses. It wasn't something sarcastic or a snappy clap back to his "teasing" which he thought you would say, it was something more flirty than usual.
Just as the other day, he tried to insult your hair and all that. Saying it looked somewhat like a chicken or a rooster perhaps on crack, who knows what he meant? All he wanted was a face of annoyance and a remark whilst he smirks at them teasingly.
But all you did was grin smugly, leant your face closer to his and whispered something inaudible - which also went a mystery for him to understand what it was.
The thing that irked him the most is when he realised you didn't really give care to whatever he had to say about you or your friends, he was always so used to having the last laugh whenever a petty little fight breaks out [which is somehow always his fault but he denies it] that he never really thought someone would "outshine" him.
At first the blocker just thought you were being patient like some others, take Sugawara and Yamaguchi for a small example. So he would always spark up a nasty saying everytime you two would meet in the corridors or even in the classroom, but so far all he got was that "stupid flirty smile" that rolled out of his tounge one day when he was just walking in the hallways.
Instead of continuing his plan to irritate you, he was far too annoyed to even say another word directed towards you. Ranting about it to Yamaguchi which almost made the freckled male's jaw drop, who wouldn't be surprised when the school's meanie turned out to be a sore loser when it comes to these things?
All he wanted now was to stay away from you, your flirting is already something he had to worry about everyday. Hate isn't really the correct words to use for this, more like unfortunately intrigued yet pissed off at the same time.
But there's always a time where his wish would be the exact opposite of what he wanted. And to his unfortune, it was today.

All he knows now is that both of you were in the library in the early morning before class starts. The blonde already suspected you to fail yesterday's quiz in history, but didn't expect you would fail the other subjects as well as; Math, chemistry along with English too.
The blocker figured it was the perfect and right time to tease you about your score, thinking you would be upset by it. But the teacher thought the wrong thing, the senior thought that both of you were close friends due to Tsukishima smirking - which was obviously his usual smug one - and you just looking at him with furrowed brows.
So guess what he had to do now. All he knows is that he's practically - or "literally" according to him - with the devil sitting down infront of him.
"Why am I here in this boring room?" he heard you complain with a loud tired yet heavy sigh, a book slamming down on the table along with your figure resting back on the chair, both of your hands on the back of your head.
Deciding to ignore you with a quick eye roll, he went back to lecturing you about a subject you were surprisingly bad at the most, atleast he didn't have you teach you more than 3 and only did one. He was slightly thankful about that small blessing he was given.
Perking his ear up along with giving up on you internally, he clicked his tounge in annoyance. "Well, atleast you're here. So, I'm not complaining." hiding his face more into the book that he was holding, he decided it was best to not say anything. Knowing you would be the one teasing him and not the other way 'round.
"Eh? Why the sudden silence around me?" you asked, a fake "sad" tone along with your upset pout. He simply looked up to you with a blank and uninterested expression before glancing back down at the book, only to earn himself a huff from you.
"Keii!" he does a quiet 'tch', irked at the fact you suddenly called him given name - though he never really gave you the permission to in the first place. "Its Tsukishima for you, L/n." you smirked as he mentally face palms, giving you attention was something he didn't wanna do. But now he just had to say something didn't he?

Hearing the sound of the floor screeching from the chair getting dragged closer to him, he clicked his tounge as he felt a presence right beside him. More specifically, your figure still with the same grin.
"Oh? So you can talk," You mocked as he shut his eyes tight, a deep inhale of air was seen from him as he tries his best to not stand up and just walk out. Well - he would if he could, but knowing the consequences of doing so, he won't take the risk.
Pushing his glasses up, he finally turned to look at your amused expression. Which you obviously earned from teasing him earlier.
"You're here because you're the dumbass who managed to fail 3 quizzes in one day." he answered, it took you awhile to figure out he was referring to your question from a few minutes ago.
You pouted, leaning your head against your hand that was placed on the table as you let out a exhausted sigh, about to stay silent before remembering something about him.
"Don't you have morning practices?" you questioned curiously, though he was tutoring you right now. He should be atleast in the gym with the rest of his teammates at the moment.
With a heavy sigh, he closed his book, glancing over to you with a irritated expression. "Your stupidity got me here stuck in the library teaching you," sometimes he even wondered why he couldn't just teach you after school since it definitely made more sense.
But after remembering the supplementary quiz you had to take in order to atleast have a remarkable grade, everything just made sense for him i guess.
Snickering by his words, you carelessly placed both of your feet on top of the table, earning a grumble of irritation from the blocker beside you, and a few stares of flushed red faces due to your skirt almost revealing what was beneath them. Unknowingly flustering Tsukishima right next to you.
"This is kinda boring." you commented, purposely yawning as you point towards the books infront of you. "Don't you know how to shut up? Your face is something I already have to deal with," he sassed, clicking his tounge as he tried to hide his temper - that was kinda going up by the minute.
Not taking his words to heart, you simply smirked, earning a glare making you chuckle at his rather vicious stare. "Don't even—"
"Not the only thing your dealing with tonight." he closed his book with a grumble, hitting you with it on the top of your head. Only for you to let out a quiet airy laugh, looking at him with amusement.
"If you fail this quiz, it's not my fault." he warns, giving you a sharp glare as light reflected on his glasses. You chuckle, patting him in the shoulder which he swatted away with a growl.
"What if I don't fail it?"
"Impossible." he retorts, giving you a side glance to see if you atleast had a different reaction rather than what he had in mind. But of course, it wasn't his lucky day as soon as he spotted your grin widening.
"Can't you just.. Study?" He questioned, looking over to you with a aggregated expression, earning a sigh and a quick nod from you. "Alright alright, in one condition." he rolls his eyes, an eyebrow raising.
"What now?"
"If I pass, I'm gonna take you out on a date this Sunday." you smiled innocently as his eye twitched in irritation, "You can fail and I won't mind." he grumbles, opening his book back up.
"If i do fail then you would get forced to tutor me you know." you pointed out out, remembering on the consequences he would get if you actually managed to fail this day's quiz.
He thinks before defeatedly sighing, "Its hell either way."
"Mean~"
"What the hell?"
"What? Did I fail?"
"You aced it.."
"Aw yeah I know."
"You just took a nap earlier! How did you—"
"Oh that? I took the answer sheets from the faculty and memorised it yesterday."
".."
"Now. About that date."
"That's not fa—"
"Atleast I passed."
"..."
"Th.. This Sunday right?"
"Mhm."
