Sakusa hates crowds, not only was it a huge burden whenever he had to walk to a location and position he needed the most, they would always cover his way and sometimes view - well, if the person is taller than him or just naturally had a wide body of course.
But that wasn't the thing he really dislikes in the sea of people, skinship and unnecessary direct contact just made the ace himself cringe. He would usually narrow and glare, leaned on a corner of the wall whenever he had to unfortunately encounter them.
Some of his teammates find it reasonable and logical, whilst the others either tease him for it or; purposely try and corner the masked man until their bodies touch or something like that. Which is sometimes the reason why a volleyball is stuck to their heads along with an ice pack needed.
And today was just his unlucky day, not only did he get his mask ripped off his face - well atleast that person apologised by accidentally doing so. He was late to school, messed up a serve, a receive and let's not forget his knee pads that gone missing.
Sakusa clicked his tounge in annoyance, it was already lunch time yet he was still stuck in the classroom all by himself with his history teacher up in the front doing his paperworks and probably grading a few of them.
Its not like he wanted to stay there, he had no choice if he didn't wanna have any contact with the swarming sea of students just right outside the doorways. It was really a pain in the ass whenever it was lunch time, the crowd get more larger by the second due to the cafeteria being too filled with people.
Just as he was about to pull out his bento box, the teacher standing up from his seat made him stop and just stare at his senior.

He sweat dropped when the man got closer with a small brief case, placing it ontop of his desk - making him furrow his brows in confusion and curiosity.
"I apologise but I have a meeting to attend right now and these paperworks are needed in the faculty office," Sakusa raised a brow, having an idea on what the man could possibly say, and let's just say he didn't like it one bit
"Is it okay if you go there? The cafeteria is near there." his senior smiled widely, eyes filled with hope once the ace did nothing but unnoticeably roll his eyes in irritation along with a small quick nod of agreement.
"Thank you Mr.Sakusa!" the teacher bowed one last time before dashing out of the classroom quite briskly, leaving the ace to curse himself quietly for even agreeing in the first place.
But the old man looked partially stressed out, his clothes were all crumpled and his tie wasn't even in a knot anymore. His glasses were almost to the point of breaking in a minute, Sakusa himself felt a little sympathy - though he never shows it quite often or even anytime.
All he feared for was his life, he would either loose it in the crowd by drowning or he would somehow fly over them.
With a heavy and regretful sigh, he glared towards the bag on his table before quickly spraying a bit of alcohol on its helder, giving it a quick expression of disgust before holding it with one of his hand.
Hesitating along with contemplating his past decisions, he opened the door with a loud slam - yet it wasn't quite effective since its loud noise only mixed in with the ruckus of the students voices.
Rolling his eyes in visible annoyance, he tried his best to avoid touching shoulders or even just accidentally brushing his hand against them.

"Damnit." he muttered after one of them had been pushed towards his chest rather forcefully, leaving him no choice but to just enter a random classroom. Expecting no one to be in it considering the hallways looked like it was getting raid.
"Oya?" his ear perked up, removing his stern gaze from the ground to the teacher's table. Seeing a female with a mocking smirk plastered on along with her figure leaned against the wood table.
He immediately noticed who you were right after seeing your H/C hair with your shiny E/C orbs that went quite well with the sun light. A second year from just a room away from his own classroom, yes. He didn't quite make it far didn't he?
"You're in the wrong classroom." you stated, pointing towards the whiteboard which had your class number along with letter planted on the top left corner.
Sakusa hummed, glancing towards the area before letting out a quick sigh. "I'm aware, there's just this dumb crowd blocking me." he unknowingly glared at nothing in particular just thinking about it.
You blinked a few times before letting out a laugh, "Oh right, Mr.Clean." he first narrowed his eyes before meeting yours with a glare that didn't make you budge.
"Don't compare me to that guy," he hissed making you snicker, waving your hands. "Alright alright, sorry then." you smiled before glancing towards the case he was holding onto.
"Yours?" you questioned, pointing towards the item as he glance towards it, looking to see what you were referring to before shaking his head. "Teacher needs it in the faculty."
Just as the silence he was secretly hoping for was bound to happen, an idea popped into your head making your smirk wider than it already was.
Standing up straight with a smug expression, you walked beside him which made him awkwardly scoot away a bit. Amusing your state even more.
"I'll help you take that then," his ear perked up, slightly praising you inside his mind as he extends the case towards your direction making you chuckle.
"Come on." he was quite confused on why you didn't take it from his hand, but nonetheless stood beside you from the door anyways.
Opening the door in a careless way, he sweat dropped just looking at the students who literally acted like hungry animals in a zoo or rather a forest even.
"Hey, why didn't you take the ca—w-what?!" He exclaimed, almost dropping the case to the ground as he was lifted up from the ground to your shoulder.
Unnoticeably flustered, he glared at the back of your head. "You.. What do you think you're doing?! Put me down!" he demanded, embarrassed that you were just casually walking through the crowd like it was a normal thing for you to be carrying the ace on your shoulder.
"What? I told you I would help you." he growled lightly, "I-i didn't know it was this kind of help!" you snickered yet ignored to say another word, making him irk a bit.
"H-hey! Put me down!"
"Out of the way!"
"Are you even listening to me?!"
"Excuse me."
"Hey!"
"Yoooo Kiyoo!"
"Leave me alone."
"Come on, we need to leave before a crowd appears."
"I'm eating here."
.
.
.
"Put me back down damn it."

Enigma's Multiverse: Rewrite
This novel was rewritten with the following goals in mind: -A 'human' MC, that struggles underneath the weight of his past emotions and slowly grows as a person as he deals with past trauma and regret. A relatable protagonist whose actions are in line with his motivations, who may be amiable or ruthless depending on the stakes presented. (Caucasian male protagonist, set in the modern world with alien 'induction' into the cultivation world.) - Competent antagonists that have their own goals and ambitions, instead of always targeting the MC for plot convenience. - An original cultivation system. - Interesting and well fleshed out enemy archetypes. - Hell mode challenge right off the bat. - Lots of action and fighting with psychological elements. - My vision of what a cultivation novel should be like. This is the rewrite of the original Enigma's Multiverse, the first version reads more like a skeleton or a first draft as it was my very first work and I've come a long way since then. A lot of things from the original will be tweaked/enhanced, so it might just end up as a completely different work. Cover Credits- Instagram @just_anime_art_things

Shadows in the Dawn Mist
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - Winner November 2020 When a young woman is lured back to her homeland for the opportunity of a life time, she must face old fears. But never would she think that facing up to her past would change everything. Is History written by the victors, or by someone or something else...? *** I started writing this a few years ago and eventually fell out of love with it. I never finished it and my newer books are being written in different writing style, and genre with a more planned process. I decided to revisit it for the writathon and found that it wasn't as hopeless as I'd come to think. Hopefully, I've improved as a writer since them so the consistency may vary. Its been good to revisit and analyse my writing which I feel used to have some clunky and obvious dialogue which I'm trying to fix. This will always be my first novel and I hope, with a little exposure, I may come to like it again. Thanks for reading!
