❥title: older Ushijima
❥story: fluff
❥warnings: none
➳——★——➳
It was just the usual day for the Shiratorizawa volleyball team, they practiced, squeaky shoes hitting the floorboards of the gym, a few yells of encouragement was heard along with shouts of trashtalk coming from a few of them, classic.
Its already afterschool, a few more minutes ti'll they leave and repeat their day once again tomorrow.
Just as Ushijima bent down to grab his water bottle, he - along with the others flinched at the sudden impact of the gym door flying open, a shriek escaping from a few mouths of the few.
The person better be thankful that their Coach had some business to attend to, or else they would get a few harsh punishments from disrupting the team's practice.
The ace raised a brow curiously, glancing towards the gym door before his mouth slightly agape. Staring at the male that had his hands in his pockets, a flirtatious grin on his face along with his styled H/C haired.
Tendou was surprisingly the first one to immediately know who this was, waving his arms in the air with a wide bright smile on his lips, his face brightening up upon seeing the male near the doorway.
"[M/n]!" the redhead cheered, not bothering to call him by last name since he wouldn't mind anyways. Semi glanced at Tendou who was visibly excited judging by his yell of happiness along with his bright smile.
"You know him?" The setter asked, furrowing his brows whilst glancing back at the mysterious male who seemed to be looking around around the gym for something or-possibly someone.
Tendou's smile grew wider if it's even possible, not taking his eyes off the male near the doorway. "That's—"
"Brother?" The team froze in their spot, glancing towards their Ace who also seemed surprise from seeing the mysterious male. But mostly puzzled about his choice of word, "Brother."
The mysterious male looked at Wakatoshi, his flirty smirk turning into a warm smile as he ran towards the ace to envolped him into a big hug, Wakatoshi almost falling but managed to stand up right after his stumbles.
Tendou immediately ran towards the two, joining them in the small hug which led the curiousity of his teammates grow wider whilst their attention was nowhere but the three males.
"When did you get here..?" Wakatoshi asked, still in the verge of surprise upon seeing you so suddenly. "Two days ago, surprise?" you chuckled as he blinks a few times, realising you didn't tell him your arrival on purpose.
"Who's he?" Goshiki asked the copper haired male beside him, who replied no words than a shrug with furrowed brows.
This "[M/n]" finally let go of their little reunion, smiling widely at the two males infront of him. "Its been awhile hasn't it little brother?" Shirabu, who was holding a volleyball, dropped it to the ground along with his mouth hanging in surprise, his jaw practically laying on the floor.

Wakatoshi eyed you up and down, holding your hands tight, probably looking if you were real or he was just seeing illusions due to missing you so much.
But after seeing Tendou tackle you in a hug to the ground along with the team's surprised expressions, he quickly realised it was all a reality as he literally pushed the redhead off of you and helped you up.
You chuckled, patting your brother's shoulder. "Thank you, I would've died." you teased, jokingly glaring at the middle blocker that was on the ground snickering at your current expression before getting up thanks to your help.
Narrowing your gaze towards his teammates you clapped, nodding in amazement. "Waah~Wakatoshi, you got some strong peeps," you complimented, slinging an arm over your younger brother's shoulder since you two were just as tall as each other despite being older than him by a year or so.
He just hummed and simply nodded, silently agreeing to your words as you ruffle his hair. "Still stoic as ever," you teased as he flushed red in embarassment, looking down on the ground with no words being said. Leading the team to stare at their usual-serious captain in amusement, along with his supposedly elder brother.
With a chuckle at your brother's reaction, you looked finally let him off with a pat in the head. Walking towards his teammates that stayed silent and continued to stare at you in awe, Tendou fan-boying behind you as he follows.
"Oi guess monster, do you have any interesting guys here?" you asked the redhead who made his way beside you.
Waving at his mates you smiled flirtatiously once again, amused by the looks on their faces. Tendou slang an arm over your shoulders before forcibly turning your head to a direction.
"There."
Your eyes widen in admiraton, looking at the male with a medium sized built body - not that it mattered -, black colored hair that was placed in a bowl cut, dark brown eyes that eyed you up and down, examining your features along with the built of your body which surprised him, quite muscularity like you won't go unnoticed after all.
"See that? He's a first year, That's the guy who wants to beat Miracle Boy." The redhead chuckled out as you nod lightly, humming along with a little laugh from the nickname for Wakatoshi.
Placing a hand on your chin you hummed once again, "Intriguing.." you muttered loud enough for Tendou to hear which he fortunately did.
You walked away from Tendou, making him slightly stumble since he still had an arm draped over you shoulders, but managed to stand straight after a few steps of struggles.
Goshiki shaked his head to snap himself from staring at you for too long, only to realise you were right infront of him with a hand out, that flirty smile still plastered on.

He reluctantly shook it, looking at you straight in the eyes to show confidence in meeting Wakatoshi's elder brother which made you laugh out loud inside but stayed quiet about the topic anyways.
"Ushijima [M/n]. Feel free to call me by given name," You trailed on as his eyes sparkled, he never knew - or anyone except for Tendou - that their team's ace actually had an older brother that they haven't met before.
Wakatoshi stays quiet about his family, or any topic that doesn't include his favorite sport which obviously was volleyball. So meeting and seeing you in person was quite shocking news for all of them.
Goshiki never thought of meeting another Ushijima, yet he always dreamed of it secretly of course. The ace still was his idol after all.
Suddenly, he felt an arm draped over his shoulders as he flinched, looking at you almost immediately. Wihh a smug grin, you patted his head with your other hand.
"So, you're the shrimp that wants to beat Miracle boy."
"[M/n] not you too," Wakatoshi grumbled quietly, enough for you too hear, since he heard you whilst he happens to be walking around.
Simply sticking your tounge out the younger male, you returned your attention back to Goshiki who seemed to be in some type of amusement after seeing - for the 2nd time today, Wakatoshi's flushed red face. Which was kinda a rare sight for anyone if I need to be truthful here.
Motioning your brother to slightly back away, he furrowed his brows but nonetheless followed your orders as you leaned down your lips almost planting a kiss on Goshiki's ears due to the closeness your lips and his ears was placed but stopped mid-way so of course It didn't happen.
"Show me a spike," You ordered huskily, preventing your loud laugh upon seeing Goshiki's flushed red expression as you walk away to the sidelines.
With a gulp, he called on a copper haired male who apparently was named "Shirabu" to help him do what was asked.
"Oh," was all you commented upon seeing the ball roughly hit the floor of the other side of the net. Though despite being impressed by his skills, it kind of landed into an area where a person should be, so it kinda made you a frown a bit.
Shirabu was slightly impressed but simply walked away, not wanting to waste his break time on helping the younger junior. Which is very typical for him to do.
"Tendou," Semi called out, making his way beside the redhead. Hearing a hum in response, he took this as a chance to continue his sentence.
"W-"
"He's [M/n] as you already know, Ushiwaka's older brother who used to help him spike with unbelievable strength. He's in his universities just incase you wanted to know." Tendou interjected with a laugh at the end which slightly amused Semi, but it was kinda obvious that was the first question anyone would ask upon seeing you.
But one sentence caught Semi off-guard, Shirabu unintentionally listening in. "Wait wait, used to help Ushijima with his spikes?" Tendou eyed him and nodded lightly.
"Yeah, he's a bit stronger than him anywa—"
"What?!" Shirabu blinked a few times before quickly glancing over to your direction, with such casual clothes and height, he would've guessed you played basketball or even just a body builder due to your well-built masculine figure.
You narrowed your eyes, slightly unsatisfied with what you just witnessed but shrugged it off, he was quite strong for a first year. Or atleast stronger that your old juniors that you've met in your old school before.
"Mm," you hummed, his expression looks at you like he wanted you to compliment him but nothing came out on more than a shrug of approval before you smiled and walked away.
Goshiki blinked, confused in what was the point of making him do that.
Just as he turns away to grab a bottle, a volleyball nearly hit his head in a flash, it almost ended outside of the court but luckily it ended in with such force.
Surprised, he turned around once again. Seeing you there with a smug grin, waving. "Thats how you beat Miracle boy." his eyes widen in amusement, no second thoughts needed as he ran infront of you, bowing quite low.
"Please teach me!" the gym went silent, waiting for you to reject his plead.
"I'll drop by tomorrow." you shrugged as you patted the male's head, his eyes widen in surprise as he stares at you with imaginary stars in his eyes, in the middle of being surprised and excited by your reply..
Slightly bending a bit down to meet him in eye-to-eye level, you smirked. "In exchange for your numb—"
"-Kya!" you whined, not even continuing your words since your younger brother pulled you by the back of your collar rather forcibly.
"He's a first year." he stated quietly, enough for you to hear atleast making you grin. "Why~you jealous?" you teased after you fully got dragged out the gym.
"Gross." he replied making you laugh out loud.
"Shirabu!"
"What bowl-cut brat?"
"Is a first year allowed to date a graduate?!"
"Excuse me?"

The (sort of) original working title for this was "Reincarnated into a neo-feudal world of mecha knights, I will reinvent the panzerkampfwagen and mess up the social political order!" or something along those lines. And honestly that's a good enough synopsis given the nature of isekai titles. This story is unapologetic trash but at least it's the least cringe stuff I have written so far, so here it goes.

Howdy there, partner. I'm so glad you've stumbled upon this story of mine. It's a bit of an experiment I've always wanted to try: writing a female protagonist people would enjoy reading. Of course, my amazing writing skills and epic prose won't be enough to convince you, so I've composed a list that'll prove just how much you'll love Daphne: 1. She has that good ol' Southern hospitality 2. She knows a lot of Southern Slang 3. SHE'S A MOTHER TRUCKIN' DRAGON I dunno about you, but I'd like to read a story where a young, Southern woman gets reincarnated as a hill dragon and has to fight vicious fairies, handsome dwarves, and plants that make you sneeze assisted by only her wits and a very passive-aggressive system that sends her weird emoticons. But hey. That's just me. Give it a chance! Tarnation Station is coming and there's absolutely nothing you can do to stop it! So why don't you hop on and enjoy the ride?

Many want to learn things from a story, while others only want fast-paced wonders. We are human and we like to dream, we are alive and we want to feel. Don’t wander outside before knowing the inside. Even if this is slow, it gives you the reader, things to behold. This is a story but also knowledge. It isn’t fast or entertaining but makes you wonder. Everything starts from something unknown, we all want to know the untold. However, can you persevere if something starts being boring? Shouldn’t entertainment start from something unexciting? Open a door to what you might know or not. Learn to dream in my unhealthy abode. Start from the garbage since that’s the place where I belong. Welcome to Raccoon’s abode. Breaking Horizons: Breaching the Fourth Dimension. A slow story that will take you on a ride towards the unknown. PS: Will make things clear here. The actual main character is a human, the raccoon is a pet for the novel. So it isn't a raccoon Isekai or reincarnation as a raccoon. I still haven't added it to the story, as I am currently doing the intro. A long intro! So the start might feel off when you read it. The story will include many genres but starts with psychological stuff and low fantasy. The whole story is an enormous puzzle, but it starts with a tiresome beginning for many. There is a reason for that... If you want to know more about this story check my discord: https://discord.gg/rZs6mem You can ask what you want to know there. Or join a bigger and cooler server where many authors hang out: https://discord.gg/2hbvq8B (Its dungeon engineer and many cool stories' server) This is my own story, so its for me only. I will not have a schedule. I left it on hiatus for a while, can't write two stories, too busy.
