You admit it, you're jealous of the goddess right beside you. Despite being gorgeous as well, she was much more prettier in your opinion. It's not like you to be so insecure about your looks and body built, but standing next to her just made you look like a servant in raggish clothes. Even though both of you were wearing the same tracksuit as managers of the volleyball team.

Nishinoya confessed to you first thing in a Monday morning, bursting through the gym doors like he just ran a marathon to come see you. It wasn't really too long since it happened, maybe about a couple weeks ago when it oocured.

Of course--not only did it surprise you, it surprised Tanaka and the whole team itself, surprisingly even Kiyoko. Only because they were more than 120% sure that he had eyes for the other female manager and not you.

But since you liked him back, you decided to accept his sudden confession, giving him a chance to declare and prove his love to you. Relieving Kiyoko that she lost atleast 1 of her admirers out of more than a hundred.

Well that's what you, her and the team thinks atleast. Despite being in a relationship wihh Nishinoya, he seemed to still not be moving on about his "feelings" towards the other female manager, which slightly concerned you.

Though he reassured you that everything was alright and he only had eyes for you.

But that doesn't really sound convincing when the second those words came right of the libero's mouth, he quickly waddled away to walk beside Kiyoko upon noticing and seeing her presence. Leaving you there alone.

Of course this act went on for a few more days and you slowly grew tired and wary of his rather flirtatious personality towards Kiyoko.

So there you were, standing next to the so called "goddess" in the sidelines whilst staring at everyone but your boyfriend, meeting anyone's gaze but not his.

Its not like he would notice anyways, he was too busy making sure that he would catch Kiyoko's attention with his receives and signature move "rollingeu thundah". That he never really realised his own girlfriend was getting tired of him.

You started to wonder if he truly did love you or he was just using you to get information about Kiyoko's likes, dislikes and more of thaf personal stuff.

This assumption whoever, did cross your mind alot. You were close to Kiyoko at the point that you're practically her new younger sister, so it kinda made you a bit paranoid whether it was true or not.

"Y/n," You flinched and let out a quiet shriek of surprise, feeling a hand on your shoulder as toi glanced towards Kiyoko who was giving you an apologetic expression.

Of course you found out that she had noticed your ignorance towards Nishinoya, and eventually blamed herself for getting in the way of your relationship with him. You were quite grateful that she had noticed your struggles but at the same time felt bad, it's not like its entirely her fault either.

It's just that your boyfriend just does a shitty job in giving you the affection and loyalty you genuinely needed at the moment.

"Shimizu." you smiled, shaking your head to assure her that you were alright. "I just spaced out for a moment," You continued as she let's out a heavy sigh.

"I should've never shook you off then.." She muttered as you tilt your head in confusion, glancing towards where her eyes were glued too.

And there they were, the two males walking over to Kiyoko to give her spoonful and sometimes cheesy compliments along with cringy pick up lines to win her over, which managed to fail every single time.

You would've been fine if it was just Tanaka or some random student that also took a liking to the other manager. But-no, it was your boyfriend as well.

Kiyoko frowned the moment they got closer and closer to the two of you, more specifically closer to her and not you.

She glanced over to you with a concerned expression, her eyes filling with guilt and basically apologising to you in advance.

Shaking your hand with a small bittersweet smile, you simply let your back hit the wall, sitting down to cover your ears. Preventing yourself from hearing the try hard duo.

Sugawara was humming a happy tune along with Daichi walking beside him with their bottles, glancing over to where both you and Kiyoko usually were before he stopped in his tracks.

Furrowing his brows, his face dropped with concern. Unknown to you, the other 3rd years figured the problem out as well. Whilst the others stayed oblivious to the situation, finding it normal since it happens almost everyday.

Holding Daichi by the shoulders to make him stop walking, he pointed towards your figure thay made their stomach drop with sympathy.

Your figure was absolutely heartbreaking for the 3rd years, who wouldn't pity such a sight? Your hands blocking your ears to prevent hearing the horrible flirty comments Nishinoya drops by and your head hung down low in disappointment.

Just as Daichi was about to consult the libero about this, Sugawara stopped him as he let's out a hum and a dark chuckle that made the captain shiver in both surprise and small fear.

"Suga, we aren't killing are only libe—"

"We're not killing our own child Daichi!" The vice captain scolds, hitting the other male by the head playfully before glancing over back to your rather busy boyfriend.

"I have an idea," Daichi looks at the setter weirdly, raising a brow along with confusion visible on his eyes.

Sugawara just let's out a laugh before clasping his hands together in a determined manner, looking around the gym in hopes of spotting their bearded ace.

"Asahi! Come over here!" The ace shrieked in surprise before quickly nodding, leaving Hinata and Kageyama there together in order for him to walk over the two.

Sugawara motioned him to come closer which he reluctantly did but obeyed anyways. Right before Asahi widens his eyes in surprise, along with a hesitating expression.

"B-B-but what I-if he asks about it? What do I say?!"

"Just calm down and let me explain." The ace glanced over Daichi in hopes of getting answers but received the same thing back along with a shrug from their fellow captain.

"And.. You're positive this is going to work?"

"Obviously!"

Just as you tucked a hair strand behind your ear, you entered the gym for usual morning practices. Greeting the coach, the advisor, Kiyoko and the team their good mornings.

"Y/n! Finally your here," Daichi commented, chuckling as he made his way infront of you. Sugawara beside him with his usual caring smile radiating so brightly.

You blinked in confusion, though your smile never left. "A-ah! Am I late?" you asked, you would normally walk with Nishinoya in the morning way before you two started dating but now he rarely does so..

The captain laughed and patted your head, "No. Sugawara was just waiting for y—ack!" the official setter nudged Daichi quite harshly, receiving a groan and a quick grunt from the male.

"D-don't say that you idiot! She'll find out!" he grumbled, intentionally making it loud enough for you and Nishinoya to hear since he happened to be close by.

The libero's ear perked up, nearly gaining his attention but shrugged it off, thinking he probably heared it wrong and continued on walking over to Tanaka.

Sugawara rolled his eyes at his junior's ignorance but nonetheless smiled at you, grabbing Daichi by the arm to drag him. "Anyways, good to see that you made it here safely!" and with that, the setter walked away with a chuckling captain.

With a few blinks of confusion, you hummed in amusement. Quickly walking over to Kiyoko but frowning as you realised the two - Nishinoya and Tanaka: just left her side, indicating they probably did their usual flirting routine.

She quickly bows, apologising for their actions even though she had no faults. "Don't be sorry Senpai, it's alright." She simply frowned and muttered a quick apology once again.

Just as you were about to set your bag aside, Asahi cleared his throat from behind you. Turning around so you could meet the rather giant ace.

Smiling, you tilt your head in curiosity, wondering in what he could want. "I-i u-h.. SUGAWARA LIKES YO—"

"Oi! Asahi! Stop spreading rumors!" a volleyball landed into the back of the bearded male's head as he grunts and whimpers. "F-forget I said that!" he jogged away right after.

Kiyoko hummed before her eyes went slightly wide, "Sugawara likes you?" she questioned, looking over to you with curiosity laced sound her angelic-like voice.

Your face flushed red, violently waving your hands around almost everywhere. "D-don't assume such things senpai! M-maybe Asahi meant something else!"

"N-no I didn't!"

"Asahi shut up! You're making it obvious!"

"Making what obvious?" Nishinoya asked suddenly, popping up in between the three 3rd years that were quite surprised by his sudden appearance of a figure.

Sugawara laughed internally but kept his "nervous" posture quite well, "N-nothing you should be worried about." he even nailed the fake stutter, even Asahi and Daichi almost fell out of character.

Nishinoya hummed, tilting his head in a threathing way. "Then whats that in your hand?" He pointed at the letter in the setter's hand, averting his eyes rather dramatically towards it.

Sugawara sweat dropped, looking around in a nervous matter as he tried to hide the "love letter" in his hands which he failed in doing so. Since Nishinoya quickly took it from his grasp, immediately opening and snooping in what was inside.

"Y.. You.." the libero trailed off in disbelief, his upper-class men made a love confession for his girlfriend? And he didn't even know?

His mouth agape as he glares at Sugawara, "Like she'll ever accept this." just as the official setter was going to end their plan, a michevious idea popped up so suddenly, making the setter smirk in satisfaction.

"Didn't she like me in the beginning of her first years? Besides," Sugawara did his best mocking smirk towards the libero infront of him. "With the way you neglect her there's no way she still loves you." Asahi's jaw dropped along with the captain violently choking on air. Wondering on where the motherly demeanour suddenly went off to.

"Suga—" just as Daichi was about to stop the setter from saying anything more further, Sugawara was pushed to the ground rather harshly as Nishinoya stomped over to your direction.

Ignoring Kiyoko like she never existed in the first place, he grabbed you by the collar of your tracksuit, pushing his lips onto yours with such force but turned the kiss more passionate and loving.

To his surprise, you responded by kissing back. Him enjoying the moment along with you.

Meanwhile Sugawara was getting either praised or scolded for taking the idea a bit too far than usual by both Daichi and Asahi for his rather interesting choice of provoking the libero.

"Sugawara-Senpai! Mind repeating what you said about Y/n accepting your Confession earlier?"

"Oh? No need, it's part of the plan anyways."

"P.. Plan?!"

"Nishinoya?!"

"AHH! Noya-Senpai isn't breathing!"

"Suga-Senpai. Nice kill~"

"Tsukishima please shut up."

The last part actually made me cackle—
