[Male Reader]
"L/n always so damn late." your coach clicked his tounge in annoyance, both Karasuno and Shiratorizawa were already doing some preparations before the official match starts whilst you on the other hand, was still not in court.
But it's not like coach Ukai was exaggerating, you were rather late to every event you managed to get invited to. Birthday parties, weddings, practice matches or even just a simple hang out with the team.
You were always late, not once in your life were you ever early or made it in time. Let's just hope you somehow get hired in a job when you're in the adultery stage.
"Coach! Yoohoo!" a loud voice cooes, earning the attention of most of the few, including coach Ukai who was irritated that you took too long just for a simple bathroom break.
You snickered, awkwardly scratching the back of your head, debating on whether you should apologise or just continue teasing him and irritating him about some things.
The opposite team whoever, their mouth was slightly hang open. Seeing a new competitor that they haven't noticed beforehand.
You had features that were attractive and a look that resembled a snake, your eyes that were thin that looked like it could somehow hypnotise someone were something your opponents could never forget.
We can't forget the few piercings on you, I guess being good friends with a certain someone named Terushima pretty much influenced you.
"[M/n]-Senpai! Did you see that?!" you snapped your gaze towards the tiny orange haired male, looking at you with starts practically in his eyes as you awkwardly shook your head.
"Ah- sorry, Hinata." you paused and turned to the glaring Kageyama, he was both fascinated and cutthroat with you, the two of you had the same positions after all.
A smirk was plastered on your lips as you made your way to the court, making the murmurs louder by the audience, questioning whether you were there the whole time or you jumped off somewhere and somehow landed there.
You weren't easy to forget with those looks, just one glance of you and you would be easily spotted in a busy crowd, well atleast that's what happened when you got lost in a mall and Sugawara managed to find you in the middle of a supermarket.
If you didn't quit in your 2nd years, you'd probably the official setter instead of Sugawara but of course some personal problems came up so you had no choice but to leave. Fortunately you came back the year after.
Hinata let out a small squeak, he was still not used to your tall height, though you two had always been close.
A yawn escaped your lips, making the captain sigh a bit, knowing your habits of falling asleep anywhere and anytime could slightly be a problem at the moment.
Nonetheless, you shot the worried male a wink, telling him you were fine which he felt relieved at.
"Oi, Shoyou." you called out, yawning once again at the process, your eyes getting teary out of impatience, eager to play already.
"Eh?" the orange head questioned, turning his head to glance at you, a ball in his hands as Kageyama waits for him to continue their practice.
You jabbed your thumb to yourself which Hinata's eyes lightened up at, you're always so busy improving yourself that you rarely practice with the decoy middle blocker, so I guess it was understandable if he was excited.
He absolutely your swiftful tosses, the position of the ball to his hand was perfect. He kept it a secret but he kinda prefers your tosses instead of Kageyama. It was much more faster and easy to hit, so I guess that's kinda a reason.

Hinata gave you a smile and nodded, looking back at the curious Kageyama. "Out of the way! Bakayama!" he shouts, motioning the black setter to "piss off".
"Hah?! What gives?" He asked, his brows furrowining as he sharpened his glare, intimidating the orange head a bit but held his composure.
"No questions asked! Just go go!" the setter clicked his tounge in quick irritation, again giving a glare to the shorter male before stepping out, allowing you to take his place in return.
A soft sigh escaped your lips as you gestured Hinata to continue. He gave you a quick nodded, throwing it up in the air for you to toss.
Givving a intense stare at the ball then back to Hinata, you tossed it over to him which he hit, faster than your eyes could blink. If it weren't for Kageyama being the "king of court" you would've probably taken his place too.
"Owa! That was so briskly [M/n] - senpai!" he complimented, his eyes lighting up as he practically had a shining aura around him.
You simply hummed, eyeing your opponent which was also surprised by what they just witnessed.
Though, one person caught your snake-like eyes the most. A copper colored hair male that was uneven in its sides, his brown yet grayish eyes also caught you off. He had an average build but not like you cared to be truthful.
Without even noticing, you were staring at him like no tomorrow. Your mouth agaped a bit as you do so, finally he caught your gaze which made him raise a brow.
"What?" blinking along with shaking your head, a smirk plastered on your lips, placing your hands on your hips as you mockingly stare at the male.
"What's your position?" you asked, eyeing him up and down before unknowingly muttering a "damn.." which made his brows furrow, cheeks heating up along with it.
"Excuse me?!" He shrieked, in the middle of being flattered and surprised by your words at the same time. It wasn't everyday that he would suddenly be complimented and be "flirted" with, especially with a guy.
"I asked your position." you repeated, playing innocent like you've never even said a thing beforehand. His mouth opened but he seems to be reluctant. But afterwards replies.
"Setter.." of course this question caught him a bit off guard, a powerhouse like his school shouldn't be hard to hear about.
Nonetheless you smirked, "I see." you shrugged and gave him the most irritating smile you could every give someone, mocking him already which he already noticed.
"But I shouldn't be too worried about you," you snickered, "Its not like there's something I should be concerned about in the first place." his eyes widened as he clicked his tounge in annoyance.
"Hah? What are you trying to say here?!" he exclaimed as you simply grin at him. "Exactly what you think it is."
"[M/n]!" you flinch, glancing over to your captain who clearly overheard your mockery towards the copper haired setter.
Despite looking like a total badass, you were afraid of pissing off your dear old captain who died that one time and you, not taking the game seriously, yelled out "Tanaka, Nice kill~" but let's not talk about that incident.
Out of nervousness, you accidentally did a salute, sweat dropping. "S-sorry captain!" he gave you a sigh and a gesture to continue.
Bringing back your attention to the irritated copper haired setter, you grinned. Walking closer to the net, gripping it lightly.

"What's your name?"
"What benefits would you get if I said it anyways?" He retorts which made you let out a genuine laugh, intruiged by his personality.
"And what benefits would you get if you don't?" his mouth agape but nothing came out, not knowing what to clap back and remark to your question, which made him even more irritated than he already is.
"Shirabu Kenjiro." he muttered but more like grumbled it out which made you snicker and smirk, walking to the opposite side of the net which caught his teammates attention.
He eyed you with curiousity, his eye looking up and down repeatedly as you made it infront of him, still with the same mocking smirk he wanted to punch off.
"You know shrimp." Shirabu looked at you, offended. "You should be nicer to me," you frowned as you placed a hand on your chest dramatically.
"You're probably a 1st year."
"2nd, nice try." he sarcastically says which made you smile, "Ah! I'm your senpai then! [M/n] L/n, nice to meet you Kenjiro." he gives you a glare after hearing your words.
"Sorry Senpai but did I ask though?" He hardened his pronunciation on the "senpai", being sarcastic all of the sudden.
"L/n!" you hear your captain's voice once again, calling out for you for a small meeting which you motioned him to give you a few seconds.
You snickered and turned your back on him, glancing back at him by the shoulder with the same irritating smirk.
He wanted to punch you but sadly he couldn't.
"Just so you know my kouhai." you trailed off, your smirk getting wider, licking your lips which somehow flustered him.
"I may have a senpai kink." and with that, you jogged away from the flushed red male that was obviously irritated by your words but needless to say he was rather flattered.
A few blinks happened as he processed what event had just occurred, standing in his side of the net with wide eyes, glaring holes into your back which you didn't notice but felt.
Shirabu's mouth was still hung open, no words escaped him. His mind was trying to function your words, his eye twitching along before his captain called him over, indicating the quick preparations before the match has started was over in the blink of an eye.
The copper haired male blinked, feeling angered by the fact you basically wasted his time on practicing by having a "conversation" with him.
He walked, still with the same sharp glare, not taking his eyes off of you, not even one moment, hoping you would notice his intense stare so he could somehow intimidate you.
But he froze in his spot, seeing your eyes gaze towards him, a mocking smirk plastered on your lips, exactly what you wore about 2 minutes ago, as his eye twitched once again, just what we're you smirking for exactly?!
Shirabu exhaled a deep breath, grinning to himself. Wanting nothing more than to be able to wipe off that annoying smirk off of your face, feeling determination sink in.
.
The copper haired male couldn't believe his eyes had witnessed, you've tricked the "guess monster" with your sets more than he could count on his fingers. Your tosses were unpredictable, not knowing on who you would pass it on. Not even making eye contact to no one unless necessary.
He didn't know whether to praise you or continue to be irritated by the fact you still had that expression that was already mocking him, no words need to be spoken in order for him to figure that out.
Shirabu had his hands on his knees, panting heavily as Karasuno won another set, which led to the disappointment on not only to himself but to the rest of his teammates too.
Just as he was about to cool and calm down, someone had to yet again, make another presence. He looked up after noticing the shadow that was almost blocking his view.
There you were, on the other side of the net with that stupid smirk. Your eyes practically telling him that you owned this court and he had no place for it.
Nonetheless, he clicked his tounge in annoyance, feeling the same irritation once again, just by looking at your face he already wanted to punch a wall or better, you in the face.
Noticing his glare, you snickered, hands placed on your hips as you stare down at him, which he was also not very fond about.
"What?" he barked as you waved your hands up in the air, surrendering to his rather snappy tone of a voice. "Chill, I'm not gonna hurt you." you teased, only to earn an eye roll from the other setter.
"Just say your insults and leave," he stated, wiping off the sweat with his shirt, slightly revealing his stomach which made your smirk grow more wide.
"You should do that more often," you say with a teasing tone, referring to what he did earlier which made his mouth twitch along with his cheeks, once again heating up.
Just as he was about to state another sarcastic remark, your words stopped him. "Take it easy on me, I'm having a hard time here.." your Eyebrows furrowed as you state so, walking away after hearing the call of the team's 2nd year libero, Nishinoya.
He squinted his eyes, not quite sure if you were just being honest or you were gradually just bragging about your endless stamina.
But after taking a good look at you, Shirabu hummed as he noticed your pants were quite heavy, your legs were slightly trembling along with your hair being slightly wet because of your sweat, your hands twitching from time to time.
But at the same time, your role as a setter only kept getting better and better whilst the time passes, so he wasn't exactly sure in how you could keep up on being this energetic when you're standing there, looking like you wanted to pass out or something.
He groans out loudly, gripping his hair in frustration that he wasn't able to read you, he doesn't even know what your weakness is and it's pissing him off.
"Shirabu." Semi calls out, placing a ahnd on the setter's shoulder with a unnoticeable concerned look, "You're being emotionally flustered."
"I'm aware!"
"Woah-okay!"
★ [Name the star because why not]
"What are you doing?"
"Hugging your poor soul,"
"You clearly need comfort."
"No I don't."
"Kenjiro, you're hugging back while shedding tears into my Jersey."
"..."
"Wipe that stupid smirk off."
"Hey! Be nice to your senpai!"
"Im not taking any chances because of your kink!"
"T-that was just a joke!"
