I turned off my lightsabers and ran into his arms. I held back trying to squeal. I couldn't help but be giddy around him.
"I thought you weren't going to be back for another rotation!" I smiled.
"We got the supplies and set up a defense of their own on Ryloth finally so I was able to come home." He said, "And.." He reached over to grab a plate from my dresser, "I brought dinner."
"How did you manage that?" I asked, surprised.
"I had to catch a ride on a cargo freighter." He said nonchalantly.
"What happened to your military transport?" I rose an eyebrow.
"Ehh.." He started walking toward my bed, "It blew up." I rolled my eyes at his nonchalant manner, "Anyway," he said setting up the food in the middle of the bed, "the freighter captain was bringing a shipment to a restaurant here and he gave me something to bring home."
I smiled, staring at him and sat beside him on the bed.
"What?" He asked,
"I'm just so happy to have you back home." I said, kissing his cheek.
He finished setting up our lovely dinner and he served both of us. I started taking my armor off and laying it next to the bed to be more comfortable.
"So how has the temple been? Have you been on any missions lately? How come you have two lightsabers now?" He questioned me.
"Well.. About that.. It's a long story." I rolled my eyes, putting some strange food in my mouth that I wasn't sure if I'd like or not. I did.
"I have time." He said, doing the same.
"Well, at the council meeting the day we came back I told the council of everything I learned on Zygerria, then Master Windu stood up to join me. Then he suggested I was ready for the trials." I said, Anakin nearly spit out his food.
"He did?!" He asked excitedly.
"He did. Don't get too excited though." I looked down.
"Oh no." He sighed.
"Well the council said that right now they didn't know how to hold the trials without all the Masters present and said that they couldn't allow me to skip the trials as they didn't know where it was okay to draw the line on unorthodox practices and I wasn't the 'Chosen One', no offense-" I said,

"None taken." He said,
"But anyway Yoda told Master Windu that if I accelerated my training, like I'm talking everyday, early morning to late at night I could show them my training tapes and maybe they'd allow me to become a Knight then." I told him.
"I'm so sorry, the council can be.. Difficult. I know from experience. I was in your same position not too long ago." He said.
"I know." I thought of our first adventure together. Wow, that was a long time ago. He has matured so much. "I even had talks with the Chancellor and he agrees with me. I should be knighted soon. He said he'll try to put in a good word for me."
"You've had meetings with the Chancellor?" He asked me.
"Only a few. He said he had heard of my progress and wanted to meet what all of the hub bub was about. He's a very nice man." I said, thinking of how supportive he was. He reminded me of my father.
"Interesting. That's good the Chancellor may be able to help a little. Obi-Wan isn't too fond of the man for some reason. But anyways, you've learned a whole new form of lightsaber in four weeks? What training level are you on?" He changed the subject.
"I defeated the 3rd hardest level today." I smiled proudly.
"Whoa! (Y/N)! That is incredible! They have to let you advance now! You're an incredible fighter. Every time I see you fight I fall for you just a little bit more." He said hopefully.
"As I do, with you." I kissed his cheek, "And they better! All this training better not be for nothing. Then I can be a general and show them what they missed all this time." I said. I wanted that so bad. I wanted to be recognized.
"Then we can fight together, as generals." He said, finishing off his plate.
"I would love that, General Skywalker." I said. Kissing him quickly.
"It's weird to hear you call me that." He laughed.
"Is it?" I laughed, too.
"Of course, I'm only used to my command calling me that." He said, "Not you. I just realized something."

"What?" I asked, taking my last bite.
"You only call me Anakin. My closest friends call me Ani." He stated.
"I know, honestly I never even thought of it. Before I was always too intimidated to call you that." I shrugged.
"I like that you don't call me Ani. It makes me feel like I'm not a little kid." He kissed my forehead.
"Eh, sometimes you can be." I teased him.
"Hey!" He poked my side, "Don't tease me." He laughed.
"Oh no, I'd be much to scared to tease a General." I said sarcastically, then he started tickling me. I was kicking and I rolled off the bed still laughing. He kicked off some of the food but I didn't care and followed me down to the floor. He trapped me with his knees on either side of my thighs and continued torturing me.
"Stop! Stop! I can't take it!" I got out between laughs.
"Not until you apologize!" He said, tickling my sides. I tried to kick him but he was too heavy.
"I-I'm sorrrrry!" I laughed. He stopped and leaned down to kiss me. He put his elbows on either side of me an straddled my body on the floor.
He kissed me through smiles at first but they soon grew passionate, and he kissed along my scar and down my jaw to my neck and chest then back up again.
"I.. Need.. To.. Call.. You.. My.. Wife.. ASAP.." He said between kisses. I smirked, when I could sneak away, I worked to find someone who could do that for us.
I flipped us over, it was my turn to talk. I tucked my hair away from my face so I could repeat his actions. I found his sweet spot right under his ear and kissed and nibbled on it.
"I.. Can.. Make.. That.. Happen." I told him. He opened his eyes.
"You can?" He asked, his eyes open with as much excitement as a youngling at the temple for the first time.
"I might've gone and ventured out of the temple to find someone who could do that for us, for a good chunk of credits he'll keep it a secret." I smiled down at him.
"Can we trust him?" He asked.
"Yes. He was a friend of my mothers, he married my parents. Luckily he remembered me after all these years." I said. He grabbed my face down to kiss my lips.
"(Y/N)! That's incredible! Lucky for you, your fiancé has been saving up his credits." He said, sitting up. "We'll continue this-" he motioned to our making out, "after we get married. Come on. I cannot wait another second." He got up from underneath me, he held my hand and started to guide me out.
"Wait! I don't have anything to wear!" I gripped his hand back.
"(Y/N), you could wear a wampa costume and I wouldn't care." He smiled.
"That's sweet, but I do!" I said. "Give me a day and I will be ready. This is my wedding too. When I was a little girl I dreamt of wearing a gown and I'm gunna wear a gown when I marry the love of my life." I said.
"Anything for you." He gave up, kissing my forehead.
"Just don't leave on any surprise missions between today and tomorrow. For one day duty cannot come first." I told him.
"You're so lucky, I love you." He hugged me to his chest.
"I love you too." I smiled, "Can we still make out?" I asked, smiling cheekily at him.
"You heard me, young lady! I said none of that until after we're married." He smirked.
"Oh come on! That's not fair! I've waited four weeks for you to come back." I complained.
"Well, you should've thought about that before postponing the wedding a whole other day, milady." He said, going for the door.
"Anakiiiiiin!" I whined, grabbing at his back, his fingers hovered above the doors unlock button, "Okay, if you help me, maybe I can find something in 2 hours." I bargained.
"Deal."

The Shape of Home
The world of Alvelotyl is one of fantasy, one filled with many races, an expansive magic system exploring themes of identity, some LitRPG elements, moral ambiguity and no small amount of magical inventions similar to those in our world. Dragons with blogs showing off their hoards of treasure live alongside [Hunters] chasing Giant Toads, or [Bandits] using rifles charged with Fire Magic. The Shape of Home is a story within this world, and follows the exploits of Yuri Scalesmith, a budding Lizardfolk adventurer from a small country town with a knack for inventing, and how her life drastically changes after she’s taken from home forever following a single catastrophic event. After being taken from her previously normal life, Yuri is thrust into a world of sprawling streets, magically mutated monsters, and a crime war for territory stretching across an entire city. The Shape of Home normally updates every Tuesday and Saturday at 6PM GMT, but I'm trying out different upload times to see how people react and attract others in differing timezones. There will be two week long breaks after each story arc's Interlude. This story is also a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!

8 215Bloody New World
The world has changed. Humans, plants and animals have supernatural abilities, fantasy monsters are roaming the streets and technology doesn't work anymore. Follow the protagonist, as he battles humans, animals, plants and monsters alike, leaving a suspiciously blood-less trail in his wake.____________________________________________This fiction is just my way of practicing writing so that I may improve myself. So, please be as critical and harsh as possible while you read this. Constructive criticism is always welcome, no matter how brutal it may be.Mature tag is there for a reason! There will be gore, adult language and a lot of things that people may think of as disgusting starting from the very first chapter. Hope you enjoy reading this fiction.
