《Living a Lie {Anakin Skywalker x Reader}》22

I wake up startled by my comlink. Before I answer it, I jump out of bed so whoever is calling doesn't see Anakin laying next to me.
As I walk out into the hall, I tuck my necklace under my tunic before answering.
Mace Windu appears, "sorry for calling so early, (Y/L/N). But we are requesting your presence immediately."
"So I have to leave," I gulp, "now?"
"Yes. This conversation will go further once you arrive on Coruscant," the Master Jedi decides.
I stand tall, "yes Master Windu. But what about Anakin?"
"Skywalker is needed as well. We have big plans for the both you. Plans I can assure will please you," Windu smiles.
"Thank you, Master Windu," I bow.
Before Mace ends the call, he closes with, "may the Force be with you."
I slowly walk back to the room. When I reach it, I find Anakin sitting up, looking left to right.
Relief shows across his face, "you scared me." I give out a nervous laugh. "What's wrong?"
I find my eyes traveling to anywhere but his eyes. His eyes narrow, "(Y/N), what is it?"
"Anakin," I sigh, "the Council wants us back on Coruscant. Now."
Anakin rolls his eyes, "of course they do."
"Master Windu said it was very important, and good as well," I assure him.
As he's putting his tunic on, he says, "I'm sorry they are doing this."
"Don't be," I reply. "Maybe this actually will be better than what we are expecting."
He walks over to me and rubs my shoulders, "nothing is better than being here with you." I smile in response, and put on my robes and boots.
I clip my lightsaber onto my belt, "let's go."

We finally land on Coruscant, and signal a speeder to the Temple.

As we walk into the Council Chamber, Obi Wan shoots a look of disapproval. Do they know? Anakin and I position ourselves in front of the three Council members.
"Skywalker, (Y/L/N)," Mace greets us.
"Hello, Master Windu," I bow.
"We found a suspect on Naboo for the drug hustling case, but we didn't have enough evidence to put it through," Anakin informs the Master Jedi.
Yoda sighs, "worry about it, do not. More important things, there are." I study the Chambers, and I realize it is only Yoda, Obi Wan, and Mace present. How come the other council members aren't here?
Yoda taps his cane on the floor, "confusion I sense in you, young (Y/L/N)."
"Where are the other members?" I question.
"Hmm," Yoda hums. "Good, that question is." A grin appears across the green aliens face, "speak in private, Master Windu, Kenobi and I wanted."
Obi Wan chimes in, "and what exactly would that be, Master Yoda?" He says it as if it were to update us rather than him.
"Well, for starters, we are permitting Skywalker for the Trials," Windu started. "If he succeeds, we will appoint him general of a clone squadron." I look to Anakin, who's face is lit up, and to Obi Wan, who is furrowing his brows in shock. It's like he didn't know about their decision...
"You mean...?" Anakin can't find the rest of the words.
"Knight, will you become. If your destiny, it is," Yoda fills in the blanks.
"Master Windu," Obi Wan intervenes, "I still have much to teach my Padawan. Where is my say in this?"
Anakin looks hurt, and shoots back at Obi Wan, "why are you holding me back?"
"I am not, Anakin. But I do not believe you are ready. Your arrogance consumes you," Obi Wan insults.

"And your—"
Windu interrupts the intervention, "Kenobi, the decision has been made. Skywalker will participate in the Trials. That is final."
Obi Wan nods, and Anakin has a expression of victory.
"Where do I come into this?" I change the subject.
"Ah," Yoda began to tap his cane again, "general of the 58th Legion, you will be."
My mouth drops, "I'm going to have my... own squadron?"
"No," Windu corrects me. "You're going have have your own army." I stand speechless. "The 51st Legion consists of many ARC Troopers."
I shake my head in disbelief, "Thank you Master Yoda and Master Windu. I very much appreciate it." Then I remember Anakin. "What about Skywalker?"
"If he completes his Trials, the general of the 501st Legion he will become," Windu explained.
"General Skywalker," Anakin mumbles the new possible rank. "Thank you, Master Windu. Master Yoda. I believe we are done now?"
Yoda nods his head with a smile. In response, we bow, and exit the Chambers, Kenobi following.
As we are walking down the hall, Anakin spats, "what was that about, Master?"
"What was what?" Obi Wan asked.
"That you didn't think I was ready for the Trials!" Anakin burst.
Obi Wan stops, "this right here shows my point, my young apprentice. Still, you cannot control your anger."
Anakin takes a breath in, "I can control my anger, Master."
"Good," the Jedi begins to walk forward again. "Now that we can have a conversation like adults, let me explain. There is still so much I have yet to teach you, Anakin. But it is the Council's decision, and for whatever reason, not mine."
"Still gives you no right to criticize me in front of the Council," Anakin scolds.
Kenobi turns to Anakin, "I am your Master, Anakin. That is exactly what I am supposed to do."
~*~
"You wanted to see me?" I enter Obi Wan's room.
"Yes," he stares out the window. "I do believe Anakin is ready. Truly I do. But I do not think he deserves such a title."
I nod, "Anakin may be difficult at times, but he is the most loyal, hard-working, skilled being I know."
"As he is to I," he strokes his beard.
I shrug, "if you believe he is ready, than what do you need to see me for?"
Obi Wan turns to face me, "I will be requesting Anakin goes through no Trial. At his ceremony, I wish of your presence."
"I am not on the Council, nor of Mastery yet, Obi Wan," I remind him.
A smile appears on the Jedi Master's face, "I will make sure you are there. To be apart of his Knightship."
"Why are you doing this?" I furrow my brows.
"Because," Obi Wan starts, "your ceremony was of three. He will be granted by the entire Council."
"That still doesn't explain any of this."
Obi Wan laughs and turns back toward the window, "soon, so soon, will you know the answer to this. Good night, (Y/N)." Frustrated with him keeping these things from me, I exit his room and go to Anakin's.
As I am about to knock, the door opens. "I sensed your presence," my husband smiles.
"Do I live here now?" I walk inside.
Anakin shuts the door behind him, "if you would like. I certainly would like that."
"You seem very happy," I observe.
"Well," Anakin shrugs, "I am being put through the Trials." I do not tell of what Obi-wan told me
I place my hands on his chest, "I am so very proud of you."
He swells with pride, "wait until I become a Master. You will be even more proud."
"Of course I will," I peck his lips and slip into bed. Slowly, I fall asleep.

The Brotherhood
Follow Jacob as he heads off to begin his academic career as a freshman at Kingsland University. Although KU is one of the country's most prestigious institutions for higher learning, a school where many of the world's elite send their sons and daughter, it was not why Jacob picked Kingsland. Like many of the young men attending KU for the first time, his sole desire, above all else, was to become a member of The Brotherhood. He's heard the many stories and rumors surrounding this mysterious and secretive organization. Jacob is eager to peel back the layers and discover The Brotherhood's secrets, to wield its power, but will he be able to handle the truth that is their reality? Can he step thru that door and never look back? Those are just some questions he will face on his journey of self-discovery. Will Jacob be strong enough to see it thru to the end? Are you? _______________________ ***Content Warning*** This story focuses on gay characters and places them in sexual situations. Although the sexual content is not the story’s main focus, it does appear throughout, especially in the earlier chapters. Feel free to give The Brotherhood a pass if it's not your cup of tea. But if you give it a chance, it might surprise you. The story is not what you expect. I first posted The Brotherhood online in 2001 and finished it in 2013. Over the years, it developed a loyal following that has been waiting for a sequel for many moons. That time has finally come. I want to release a more updated version of TBH before dropping the new chapters for the sequel. I hope you enjoy it!

Choosing His Luna (bxb)
This is a story I have published on Inkitt and I thought I'd post it on here too since I've started to update it again. 😅 I hope to continue to do so although the updates will probably be only once or twice a month. The chapters are a little shorter than what I normally post on Wattpad but I hope you enjoy them all the same.‐-----------------------------The fateful day had finally arrived, the one which I had been preparing for since birth, one which my parents had been preparing for since I'd been conceived. Well, that wasn't exactly true, my parents had been preparing, and I on the other hand had been mostly unwilling with the whole affair. See I was a werewolf, my whole family was, or pack if you will. It was tradition for all those of marriageable age to gather on the strongest werewolf pack in the world, to try and impress the next Alpha to be, the most powerful werewolf in the world. It was a major honour to be chosen by the Alpha, for the individual and their whole pack. So here I was, packing a bag for the journey and time I would be spending at the strongest pack in the world, which was called the Stentorian Pack and was located deep in the mountains surrounded by forest. My parents thought I had a chance, they'd told me what to eat, how to act, and how to look all my life, needless to say, it had gotten old pretty quick. All the lack of control I'd had over my life had boiled down to this day, it had all been for this day. I had to be the most attractive, smartest, and likeable... you get the idea, and I couldn't help but feel inadequate.
