Aeri P.O.V
I bit my lip as master gave Aeon permission to gaze fully at Him. A pang of jealousy followed by guilt weaved through me, because Aeon was more often the one allowed to view Master fully than me. Master, probably feeling my mood of being left out, guided my head to his shoulder as he leaned slightly back against the chair, guiding my right arm up to comfortable rest along his body to his other shoulder. He used the same hand to take Aeon's left to kiss it quickly yet gently before Aeon began.
"We... went to Eterna," Aeon began, doing his best not to stutter. Master does not like for us to stutter outside of bed if we can help it. He watched for Master's expression.
"And what have I told you both about Eterna?"
I brought my shoulders up as Aeon bit his lip, looking down. I felt as master shifted, his hand lifting Aeon's had by his chin, "Did I give you permission to look away?"
Aeon shuddered, eyes now trained on Master's as he waited for a response, "To keep our visits, outside of work, to a minimum and act as invisibly as possible..."
"And what did you do?" Master already expected our naughtiness the moment Aeon mentioned Eterna.
"We did not act invisibly," Aeon replied, cheeks pinking and making an obvious effort not to look away.
"We will deal with punishments later," Master stated firmly. "For now, tell me what occurred." He did not ask, but demanded, causing a heat to pulse through us.
"We had been good, though we did come just before peak times- but it was because a large group of girls were going it," Aeon truthfully defended. Master frowned, but did not say anything in response. "We hadn't even come to hunt, just to dance and play because all their rooms are so fun! Even just to watch.

"We were just deciding whether to dance or wander through some of the rooms when this boy in sunglasses walked right into us! We were so surprised. I mean, we had covered our scent just in case and of course were following your rules and training. So, being accidentally knocked into was an expected occurrence, but this kid just walked straight into us.
"We had some words, but found out it was because he was blind!" Master's face was blank as He waited for Aeon to finish his explanation, knowing there was more to it and would make sense, "What really got us was not the fact that he was blind, but a vampire as well! When we asked about this, thinking he had just gotten his eyes injured, he denied it saying he had been born that way!"
I watched as Aeon flushed, knowing that we had peaked Master's curiosity and interest, "We... Couldn't help ourselves, Master! We're so sorry!"
"Continue telling me what happened," was Master's only response. I watched as Aeon visibly did his best not to look away, eyes glistening a little.
"We decided to take him. He was so weak, and if it had been any place other than Eterna, we would have succeeded," Aeon's lips trembled. "We forgot, and when we tried to exit with him, we were blocked. There was a little fight, but we easily got away without him. Sorry, Master... But we were able to gain a sample of him for you!" I watched as Aeon pulled out a baggy with a piece of cloth covered in still-moist blood.
Master patted our butts, the action telling us to rise from our position. We stood to either side of him, and I fought the urge not to fidget under his gaze, but stand properly as I was trained to, "Sit."

We sat on the small padded stools to either side of Master, Him only paying us enough attention to have Aeon lower his eyes once more. Thankfully, Master allowed us a small portion of food and not very savory blood on small trays. Master had brought the baggy into one of the pockets hidden in His coat before only focusing on His own meal.

"Come, it's time to go to the playroom," Master commanded us, walking away, knowing we would follow.
Both of us glanced at each other, wondering if this would be more pleasurable or punishment. We did not speak to each other, both knowing that even doing so mentally was rude to our Master behind his back.
We stood in expectation within the third playroom, this playroom neither the obvious Punishment playroom, nor the Pleasure playroom. This was the Mystery playroom, usually for when Master was in a specific mood. All toys and equipment were covered in some way or another by sliding walls, cupboards, cloths and so on. I shivered in nervousness, anticipation, fear, and at the feel of a hot liquid that pooled low in my belly, lightly knotting.

Heart of Cultivation
Book one is now available for purchase or download through Kindle Unlimited! Jian was a prodigy, at least until he discovered that his path of cultivation had hit a dead end almost as soon as it began. That was all years ago, though. He has long since resigned himself to his fate and prepared himself for a dull, ordinary, but happy life. Stunted cultivation or no, he's clever enough to carve out his own comfortable niche. Unfortunately, not all of the matters from his past have been settled. When a reckless mistake threatens to cost him everything, Jian will have to prove that he's desperate enough to rise to the occasion. Or that he's capable of avoiding the consequences. This is an affectionate reconstruction of the xianxia genre. I will be deploying the tropes from the genre that I enjoy in a framework that I think makes sense. The story updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes other days.

Again from Scratch Saga: Izmittor Unchained
If someone precious to you needed your help, would you extend it? Would you still do it if it costs you your peace and perhaps even your life? For Tercius, a man mysteriously reborn nearly thirteen years ago, there was only one answer to both questions. Feeling compelled, he sets out to journey to the northern Sogea and its infamous Western Izmittor mountain range, a natural stronghold of sky tearing mountains and deep canyons. Legends about the place abounded, but he knew without a doubt that the hidden valleys, rushing rivers, thick forests, and desolate landscapes hid powerful predators, the likes of which stalk the harsh terrains for an easy source of meat and bones. The many natural dangers of Western Izmittor would be hard enough to navigate safely for a lone traveler, but to make matters worse Tercius had enemies in the heights of Western Izmittor, humans and spirits who would see him dead if they ever learned of his true connection to the Pyramid of Tergaron and the Society of the Magi. To make things even more difficult, he also had to ensure that the true extent of his own Innate Skills remained hidden, for if the prying eyes of the world fell on him and his many secrets came to light, then he would never again know a day of peace. Can one reborn man manage to keep his secrets and still succeed in doing what his conscience compels him to? Will he have to choose one over the other? And can he do any of it without reigniting the sparks of a planetary war the likes of which had not been seen in millennia? Follow Tercius’ story and find out! *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** This story is a continuation of Again from Scratch, a story of mine also posted on RR.
