This story is a re-write, and its original version was a request by a dear friend of mine. Though hopefully this version would be far better.. As the original version was a very cringe worthy thing. Many thanks to certain friends that have convinced me to post this. I shall do my best to at least update frequently, without sacrificing the.. quality of chapters. Tags will be added as the story goes on. || Disclaimer: Much of the chapters before Chapter Twelve are of poorer quality in terms of Grammar. So do forgive me for them, by Chapter Twelve and beyond however, the quality of the chapters should have had improved. What if you lived in the world of your own creation? As fate would have it, our dear amateur novelist, Ellie, was reborn into the world of her fantasy novel after falling asleep at her computer. Bewildered as she was, the first person that she met was the protagonist of her novel. To add salt to the wound, it was right before the tragedy that decimated his village as per his backstory. Will Ellie save the village (and herself) to risk changing the fundamentals of her novel? Will she instead let the story run its course and leave everyone in the village to their deaths? Disclaimer: This novel is a work in progress and will be updated hopefully at least once a week. Expect minor mistakes (maybe some typos and punctuation errors) since this is the very first draft. The author suffers from perfectionism and impostor syndrome and therefore attempts to use this as sort of a therapy to break away from perfectionism and self doubt. Basically, the author employs a “I don’t care anymore and screw this trash work” mindset just to get stuff rolling and not set any expectations. Basically, basically, the author just wants to write something and not care about planning and quality and all those nice things about writing a GOOD novel since it’s counterproductive. Dexter Hargreeves is a 18 year old boy. Dexter is a very intelligent person, and always rational. His dad is a billionaire and spoils him, but he didn't waste the money he was given on materialistic items, because he had everything. So one day when he was 13 he decided to use his $1,000,000 allowance and donate it to an orphanage. He kept doing this and he gained goo karma, that wasn't even believed to be possible for this world. One day he had just gotten out of school, and he was reading one of his favorite novels he had saved on his phone as he walked home, and the notorious Truck-kun hit him. Dexters soul sat in a dark place for 10,000 years, but for him it felt like 1. The gods saw this, and it was their fault in the first place he got hit, because they were playing with Hot Wheels to see why kids liked them, and he got hit. They felt bad so they gave him a reward. Which was 10x his original karma, and 10 wishes. After they gave it to him they realized he already had 1,000,000,000,000 karma. So now he had 10 zillion. Join Dexter on his adventures into the world of Isekai, and his own OverPowered system. So, while Vic has a lot of questions, we have to ask... Will he survive? Will he find some treasure? Will he really be able to get back home? ... Perhaps. =====Summary Over===== Yo, if you are reading this then (like me) you like to read pretty much anything, including some guy's random rambles. Well you could read this story if you want but what's the fun in that really? I'm pretty much writing this (my first) story on a whim so it is certainly not perfect nor is it likely to be good (but what do I know maybe I'm secretly talented). It also might have tons of tons of errors beacuse I'm dumb and sometimes it's just so boring to proof read and you just wanna send a chapter out y'know. Regardless, whether this story brings you the most euphoric delight or illicits the most intense abhorrence I wanna know what you think and how I can improve, reader person, especially if you read this far!
