《Haikyuu!! AUs (x Reader)》Hinata Shoyo- Not so Bad
Advertisement
You hoped that the colour orange wasn't as bad as you thought it was. It wasn't like you could hate the colour because you've never seen it, but you didn't like the fruit, so you hoped that colour wouldn't be too bad.
All of your life you have wanted to meet your soulmate, but you were kind of a loner so that kind of closed you off from everyone else, making it much harder for you to find your soulmate.
You walked through the gates of Karasuno and it annoyed you how everyone's hair was a different shade but you couldn't tell what could it was. Today wasn't a problem because you had to go in earlier to talk to your guidance counselor about a mix up on your schedule.
The school ground was nice since there was no one there, it was quite. One thing that you knew that you would miss from meeting your soulmate was the different shades. You heard from people who've found their soulmates that colour was beautiful and it gave the world so much life. It fascinated you that there could be so many shades that represented colour.

You kicked a rock that was outside of the office and pouted when you remember what your guidance counselor told you.
"I'm sorry (Y/N), but you can't switch out of physical education."
"Ahhh...why not?"
"Every class is filled for the semester that is during the same time as your P.E class."
"Every class?"
"Unfortunately, I'm sorry (Y/N). I know that you aren't the biggest physical education, but the only other class at the time is the girls P.E class."
"That's totally fine! I don't swing that way. Isn't that class easier or something?"
Your guidance counselor sighed. "(Y/N), you do know that boy the girl and boy P.E class have the same curriculum."

"I know," you nodded. "I just don't think that I'll be tackled to the ground as much as I am during the boys class."
She laughed. "You know that I teach the girls P.E class as well, right? You're better off with the boys class."
~~~
The P.E class was first period for you. School didn't start for another ten minutes and no one was at school. You stepped into the change room and cringed a bit, it was just as bad you remembered, it was shade #97 the worst shade in your opinion. It was brighter than shade #57 but darker than shade #77.
As you started to change, you heard voices coming from the other side of the locker room. One of them was talking too loudly and the other one...well you weren't sure if there was another one, but you didn't think that a person would keep talking to themselves out loud.
"What colour is this?"
"It's called blue."
"What does blue look like?"
"It looks like blue."
"That doesn't help!"
You laughed to yourself as you heard their conversation. You were happy that someone in your school found their soulmate, but a little sad because you couldn't imagine what the colour "blue" looked like.
You finished changing and headed towards the door to the gym. As you walked passed the second row, a bright light blinded your eyes. You blinked the quickly and walked in the direction in which you saw the...colour?
You stepped back, and two boys where there, changing out of their volleyball uniforms. The shorter one's head was kind of blinding since it was the first colour you've ever seen. It was how you pictured the sun to be.
"Excuse me?"
They stopped mid sentence and turned to face you.
"Do you need something?" The taller by asked.
The shorter one, just started at you and nudged his friends in the side. "Kageyama - kun? What colour is his hair?"
"Dark brown (or your hair colour if it's anything but black or white)."
"What does (colour) look like?"
"It looks like (colour)."
"Your hair is bright," you said after a little bit, catching the taller boys attention.
He nodded and faced the inside of his locker. "Yeah, it is. It's called orange."
Hinata started at you still, not moving and his eyes bulging out.
"Orange isn't as bad as I thought it was."
The Trials of Bethany
Bethany, is a young girl who didn't expect anything more from her life than to spend her time churning butter and trying to ignore the abuse of her fellow village members. In any other world this would be a reasonable expectation for a person in the middle ages. But Bethany was lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it. Because her world was about to get a whole lot bigger, and a whole lot scarier. The Trials of Bethany, is a Gamelit story of a system arriving on earth in the middle ages with the characters being teleported away regularly to face trials to earn their skill levels. As such there won't be a flood of skills however there will be constant progression and other hidden treats. The story will be evolving as it's written and as always aspects of the story/world are prone to change. This is my first serious attempt at writing and my first time publishing anywhere so all constructive criticism is welcome. Currently uploading Tuesday & Friday with occasional bonus chapters.
The Shadow Paradigm - Book 1: Project Orb Weaver
Gardening, cooking, innovation, preservation, charity events... Madzistrale, Tom and Gabzryel does it all. But when they encounter the mysterious Shiakar Paradigm Society, a clash of paradigms ensues. Although both groups are aiming to make humanity stand stronger, their ideals and methods could not be further apart. Between the trio's optimistic yet naive ideals, and the SPS's tried-and-true surgical methods, determining the answer which methods can better humanity is a struggle that both parties must resolve in their own ways... Welcome to the 7th revision of my 10+ years ongoing novel trilogy. This revision took out some flawed plot concepts to re-introduce a more down-to-earth, film noir-like ambience, where a battle of wits is what will determine the outcome. It also added instead more in-depth expansion into the lives and mindsets of the characters, especially the heroes (a missing factor in older versions). Third-view limited storytelling was also introduced more prominently over my favoured third-view omnipotent, with each chapters concentrating as much as possible on a single character's point of view instead of head-hopping. So I shall begin uploading the chapters as I finish them; they're edited as much as I can, but there'll most likely be some typos and mistakes. As always, I welcome your comments and critiques, and I hope you enjoy reading that story as much as I did creating it! A parting poem to introduce the story (translated from its original French version): Credit: Les Mots, Mylene Farmer & Seal Firmly, the sky writhes When a mouth begets a death There, I will give my life to hear you To tell you the most tender words When all becomes all alone I'll break my life for a song And to lives that stoop to notice mine I know I will say goodbye But a fraction of this life I would give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives You could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple If one swept the world away One could touch the universe I will tell you how the sun rose high We could with a word become one And for all those words that hurts us There are those that touches us Which illuminates, touches the infinity Even if nothingness exists For a fraction on this life We will give anything, anytime The universe has its mysteries Words are our lives We could kill a life with words Soul, how would it feel? If our lives are so fragile Words are mysteries Words of feelings Words of love, a temple
Luster
Growing up with her recently deceased mother’s addiction and her own struggles with gender identity, June Fujiwara was not a nice person. Gaining powers from nearly being murdered didn’t change that, and neither did becoming a mercenary to fund her transition. It took horrific manipulation, the resulting trauma, and the family that helped her through it all. Luster is a derivative work based on Worm by Wildbow (John C. McCrae) that begins prior to Worm and although it doesn't show straight away, the story is very AU.
