“I already ordered (Y/N)’s present, but it won’t come until next week so I’m seeing if their ship it to me earlier. I don’t really care about the fee.”

“Wow, isn’t (Y/N) a lucky person.”

Kenma rolled his eyes. “Can you keep (Y/N) out of their house tomorrow?”

“Shouldn’t you do something today though?” Kuroo suggested. “I mean it is her actual birthday today.”

“Yeah, but it would be rushed and I don’t want it to feel that way. Just keep them out of an hour.”

“Fine.”

“I don’t want to go out,” you pouted. “I want to stay in my bed and hug my pillows while I die of sadness.”

“That was a little depressing,” Kuroo admitted, sitting beside you. “Even if I buy you food?”

“Don’t bribe me with food. That’s a low blow.”

“But did it work?”

“Maybe...as long it’s doesn’t come from a truck I’ll go, but I give you an hour.” You got up from your bed. “The only truck food I'll accept is an ice cream truck.”

Kenma opened your front door with the key that Kuroo got from his parents. Before heading up to your room, Kuroo had stopped by your parents and explained the situation to them. They agreed to it and gave him a spare key. Your parents also agreed to stay out of the house for the day.

Kenma had told the person driving the truck to pull up to your house, and he got to work.

“I told you an hour and you got two, so can we please go back home?”

Kuroo had tried and succeeded in keeping you out of the house. First, he brought you food and then that lead to ice.cream. He then told you he had to go to the video game store to pick up something, which lead you to spend half an hour decided which type you wanted from the candy store beside the video game store.

“Do you want another ice cream cone?”

You shook your head. “I think if I eat anymore, I’ll explode, and I promised myself to make it through another year.”

“ Fine,” Kuroo sighed, defeated. “You win, I’ll let you wallow in your bed.”

“Thank you, that’s what I wanted.”

As you and Kuroo, you stopped when you saw a huge truck that was parked outside of your house. Your jaw dropped as you smiled at Kuroo. “Did you get me a bouncy castle? If you did I’ll love you forever.”

“Not me, but maybe you should go inside and check.”

You rolled your eyes, slightly disappointed that Kuroo didn’t get you a bouncy castle. Walking into your house, you paused as you saw your entire living filled with an abundance of (favourite flowers).

“What….”

“I was going to do chocolates,” Kenma said, coming from your kitchen, “but I was told that it would melt.”

Speechless, you walked around your living room.

“I thought your birthday was next week, and not this week,” Kenma confessed. “I really thought it was. I couldn’t get the company to ship the original thing I wanted to give you first faster, so I had to settle.”

“How many are there?” You asked, mesmerized by the flowers.

“One of everyday I’ve known you. Which is a lot if you don’t want to do math.”

You walked over to Kenma and hugged him. “This is kind of amazing.”

Blood rushed to Kenma’s cheeks. “Umm...thanks.”

You pulled away and smiled at him. “What was your first gift?”

“A bouncy castle, but that won’t come till next week.”

“You know me so well.”
