《Haikyuu!! AUs (x Reader)》Asahi Azumane- Not so Haunted

Asahi placed his last box down in his new apartment. It was kind of crappy, but what did you expect as a new college kid and by the time he decided he wanted to stay on campus, all of the dorms were already filled. That meant he would either have to commute 2 hours from his home or rent an apartment outside of campus until next semester.
Luckily, he found a small apartment that was pretty reasonable considering he was really close to the campus.
He didn’t bring much of anything because he didn’t expect to stay longer than on semeter. The floors were still covered with a light coat of dust and the walls were so thin that he could hear footsteps from the hallways and the opening and closing of doors.
Asahi sighed and sat down on one of the boxes. He would have to call this place home, even if it was just for a little bit.
~~~~~
After two weeks of nice living, Asahi was convinced that this place was haunted. The last couple of days, while laying in his bed, he could here crying though the walls. A few day before that, he heard a lot of loud screaming and things being throw and that’s when all of the crying started.
During the day time, he was mostly at school, so he didn’t know whether or not the crying would last throughout the day or it was just during the night time.
It was around one in the morning when he heard the crying to start. He had just finished a paper that he;d been working on of a couple of days and was ready to take a long sleep because he didn’t have class the next day. He tried to ignore the crying because he didn’t want to intrude on anything that the person was going though, but he just really wanted to sleep.
The darkness of the room comforted him when he laid on his bed. He was facing the ceiling and his hands were by his sides.
“Ummm...hello?”
The crying started to subside a little.
“Hello?”
Asahi jumped up in bed and turned to face the wall beside him. “Your can real me?”
The person sniffled. “Yeah, I’m not a ghost or something. My name is (Y/N).”
“Oh,” he said. “Hi, (Y/N). My names his Asahi. Uhh...are you okay?”
“Yeah,” you said, your voice was quite through the wall. “The walls are kind of thin aren’t they? Did I bother you?”
“No,” he responded quickly. “No, I just heard some crying. Did something happen?”
You didn’t reply. Asahi thought that maybe he shouldn’t have asked that. It could have been a personal question and you two just met a few seconds ago, through a wall.
“I broke up with my (boyfriend/girlfriend) a couple of days ago,” you whispered.
It sounded like a whisper to Asahi at least. The walls were still walls even though they were thin.
“Do you want me to bring you ice cream or something tomorrow? I don’t have school,” he suggested.
You laughed. “You’d be a good boyfriend. Offering a crying person a tub of ice cream while they cry is an amazing idea.”
“So is that a yes?”
“I guess so,” you said. “It’s not like I have anything better to do. You should go to sleep it’s late. Good night.”
“Good night.” Asahi smiled. “You should stop crying. You could get dehydrated and pass out.”
The Destiny Detour
In a kingdom putting together the pieces after a series of devastating magical wars, trouble is brewing. At least that's what the Seer's vague warning to Princess Lillya claims. That warning sends young Sorceress Rosaliy and enigmatic ruffian Drake from one end of the world to the other searching for answers (and lost magical children). The Destiny Detour is third in the Black Pearl Series, but the events of this story occur 10 years after the first two, and it focuses on different characters in the world. It should be able to stand alone. If you are interested, the beginning of the series is available on Amazon and most e-book places: https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B01AYLLKK8
A man finds himself lost and far away from his home and this is his story. I know the description isn't much to go on but I'm going to leave it like that in hopes that people end up curious enough to give the story a read. Fair warning, this is my first time writing a novel and honestly would love some constructive criticism. leave a comment below the chapters if you find anything that should be corrected or if you have any questions. PS: I'm really into RPGs and the story is going to reflect that obsession.
"Through all of the countless crap stories and recycled tales, Untouched is a rare diamond in the rough. With tantalizing descriptions and characters with incredible depth, T.K. Kotkoda paints a unique tale that is a much-need change from the stereotypical Paranormal story. It has been my pleasure to read it." - JDGRIMM - Highest Paranormal Rank: #28 [5 May 2017] -
