《Haikyuu!! AUs (x Reader)》Hinata Shoyo- Music

When the orphanage burned down it was a mess. Hinata was in the middle of the whole building, his best friend (Y/N) next to him with a large headset over her ears.
Hinata spun in circles looking for an exit.
"(Y/N), where do we go?!"
The older girl shrugged slightly, brows pushing together as she grabbed the young boys hand and started pulling him toward the main exit.
~~~
Hinata doesn't remember much of that day. But he knows it ended with the two of you getting separated along with the other kids in the orphanage.
Years later, he lives alone in isolation and hasn't seen you since that day when the fire took your home away.
Hinata lifted himself from his bed and slowly made his way to his drawers. Pulling out a set of clothing, Hinata put the clothes on and left his small apartment.
~~~
As soon Hinata sat down, a waiter came by to ask for his order of food. Hinata asked for some pancakes and coffee and listened to the news that played on an over hanging tv. As he sliced the pancakes the knife and fork left burn marks that made the food sizzle and steam.
Wokers found frozen in place with major concussions not far from the shipping container site where there worked. More on that late now on to the girl and her recently adopted squirrels.
"It's getting out of hand. We need to stop this before it gets worse."
"You're forgetting the problem we are already dealing with."
The conversation that took place behind Hinata made his ears perk up. He continued eating his meal, but listened into the talk that took place in the booth behind him.
"Fire, it's showing up everywhere and we need to figure it out," one of the men said hands moving around as he spoke.
"Ok, but this," the other said pointing to the tv that was hung up beside them, "this has been happening for weeks and everyone in the group is freaked out."

Hinata stopped eating his food when it went up in small flames. Rushing for his wallet, he pulled out enough money for the meal and rushed out of the diner.
"Hey! Wait!"
~~~
Running, though worth the effort, was futile and Hinata was captured at gun point when he turned a corner that led to a dead end.
"Stop. We won't hurt you." the dark haired one said.
"You-you're holding a gun though!" Hinata managed out.
The one with lighter hair placed a hand on the others shoulder. "It's okay. Could you come with us? I think we have things to talk about."
~~~
"Hmm. You've always had this?"
Hinata sat in front of a desk. Eyes from behind him bore into the back of his head and he tried not to turn around.
"Well, I've come to the fact that I burned down my orphanage... So ya I guess."
"Heh, look at that, we have a firebender now."
"Tsukki, shh." the other man from before said scolding the blonde.
"My name is Daichi. The man you saw earlier is Sugawara. Tsukishima is the blonde and Yamaguchi is his friend. There are others but you'll meet them another time." Said hi stood from his chair in front of Hinata and paced around the large desk.
"Now. About those workers. Tsukishima, did you manage to gather any information?"
Sighing, the blonde repositioned himself in his chair before retelling the knowledge he gathered.
"Same old mafia, new member. From what I can tell she has been part of the group for years. But I guess they only managed to fully break her recently."
Daichi nodded and turned to Yamaguchi, who's hair bounced when he was addressed directly.
"She has a nullifying ability. Her victims end up numb all over for an extended period of time and can't move. But the concussions don't make sense, but it could be a telepathic connection."
Everyone nodded and thought about the situation.

"Any appearance?"
"(H/C) that is choppy and cut short, and a large headset. I think that had to do with the telepathy. She could block out outside thoughts by playing music. But that would also mean she probably doesn't speak much? I can't be to sure, we're not close enough to finding that out."
Daichi nodded, thanking Yamaguchi for the information.
"Oh, and don't eat your sushi. There's poison in it."
~~~~
A week later, a second attack had taken place in a group of civilians in the same area as the last attack. And following directly after, Yamaguchi had run into the large office, plan of attack written on a piece of paper.
"You need to go now. Take this and go It's your only chance." He shoved the papers in Sugawaras hand and rushed in Hinata's direction.
"You, you are going to be a turning point. Just trust me on this, you need to go."
~~~
Giant crates were stacked up, creating towers of metal packages. Walking forward they came to face even more towers that were hidden behind the fog.
"It's like a never ending maze."
"You get used to it."
The female voice echoed and bounced off of the containers and made it seem that this girls voice was a dome that surrounded them.
"So she does speak." Tsukishima threw out a snarky comment as soon as he could, but his comment was followed by a small grunt of pain.
"Well I don't think that was worth a migrane but okay."
It quickly went downhill from there. Tsukki froze in place but managed to cover his ears before any damage could be.done to his brain, Daichi did the same, and Sugawara morphed into a bird and flew upward to try and get a birds eye view. Hinata covered his ears but found he was not numb like his teamates were.
He let his arms drop to his side and he looked around the foggy area.
Once he fully turned around he caught view of a female figure that stood in the building fog.
"Don't move." he said.
The girl was like a statue, unmoving and perfectly still. When Hinata took a step forward she mimicked his movement and the two slowly approached each other.
Now only a few steps apart, they were face to face, studying the features of the other. Their positions where practically mirror images of the other.
"Who are you?"
Kissing his teeth, Hinata held his breath for a moment.
"Hinata."
There was a pause in the conversation before her voice broke through the surounding silence of the shipping crates.
"Shoyo?"
The redhead nodded and the girl sighed. Shoving her hands into her pockets she glared at the ground.
"Listen to me. Your friends will be fine. But don't come back here. Tomorrow at 8pm go to the small bridge at the edge of the city. You'll be safe. But you need to go."
~~~
"You dealt with the problem?" the man asked sharpening his large machete.
The girl nodded and slowly lowered her headset, sure to not make a sound.
"I did."
The man went silent and girl left.
~~~
The fog that had settled through the city had still yet to dissipate. Hinata stood underneath the bridge and waited until he heard the shuffling of small stones.
"Good to see you haven't died after all this time, God knows I almost did."
The girls arms followed the line of Hinata's shoulders before folding over and pulling him into a warm embrace.
"(Y/N)?" Hinata managed out before more air was pushed out of him from the tightening hug.
(Y/N) hummed and Hinata could hear the music that played from her headset.
"Come on. Lets go to your base before some goons try to track me down."
"Why would they do that?"
(Y/N) grabbed the younger boys hand and pulled him allong. His warming body temperature left scolding foot prints against the stones.
"May have immobilized the leader. But who cares, I have my friend back."

The Pugilist
Vincent Roy Salazar has never been your common folk. He climbed any mountain he found in front of him. From a bright young student to an accomplished professor, his life can be described as a continuous race to the top of his chosen fields. Patriarch of a loving family, proud father of three already grown siblings, Roy realizes that his life is the perfect picture of what the average man strives for, and for that he is truly grateful. But happiness is a difficult-to-reach goal, and as he lies in a pool of his own blood, his fist cracked, a young lady crying while cradling his head, he remembers what really gave sense to his youth. Pure Unadulterated Violence The Pugilist wants to be a different take on isekai shenanigans. What would happen if instead of a moronic idiot, a depressed high schooler, or a wannabe hero the one to get his do-over is a fully grown man that has already seen what life has to offer in full? Someone who conformed himself to society, but has always craved something different? In a journey of self-discovery, academy building, god-slaying, and absolutely no harem we follow someone driven by logic, experience, and a smokey goal: to fuck shit up, have fun while doing so, and maybe resume his career as a professor for those strange, magic-wielding, unstable youths that seems to never get enough of his presence. Guys, a few notes, first of all, this is my first time writing long-form fiction. I have a background in psychology, and my main income comes from writing dreary financial articles on SEO blogs. But after a bad break-up, and finding myself falling asleep only while thinking of deus ex machina for stories on this site (and for APGTE) I decided to try my hand at this web series thingy. I'm confident in my grammar, but that's it. Everything else will be a first time, and as such any constructive criticism is encouraged and gratefully accepted. Now, on the story. Romance will be introduced once my little heart is mended, if you are scared of LGBT you may be turned off by the fact that I plan to have no taboo of any kind in my universe, but I won't ever write detailed sex scenes for any characters so don't worry too much. The litRPG part is very light and will take place later in the novel, but it's a key component nonetheless, for world-building and storyline reasons. I already have everything big planned out, so I won't drop it outta nowhere, and I hope you won't find too many flaws in how things pan out. I plan to make The Pugilist an interactive story, with secondary characters created by my audience and introduced after tweaks and careful planning. The main reason I'm writing this is that I want to build a community for myself in this time of isolation. I discovered that exercising, playing the piano or video games means jack-shit when you are utterly miserable, so I hope to give some value to my readers in exchange for praise, fame, money, and companionship. I give full props to anyone who has read this whole mess of a synopsis: I hope to not disappoint too much, now let's write some more steaming garbage that will be in dire need of editing later on.
