《35 | Cody Bellinger x Reader》Chapter 19

"The Houston Astros are world champions for the first time in franchise history!"
When I heard these words, they killed me.
Y/BF/N literally left the house when as soon as Corey got out, leaving me alone with the TV talking about the Houston Astros' win. I turned the TV off and just went to my room. I just stared at my wall in disbelief.
They won, I thought. They actually won the World Series.
I heard the front door open and then close a few seconds later. Followed by footsteps and then another door closing.
I think this win for the Astros hit
Y/BF/N since Corey was the last person to get out.
I get up, turn off the lights, walk back to my bed, and went to sleep.
I wake up to phone going off. I look at how is calling me and I see that it's Cody.
Italics - You
Cody why are you calling me at one thirty in the morning?
Yeah that's fine. I'll stay up so I can let you guys in.
No problem Cody.
I hang up and get out of bed. I walked out of my room to go to the living room so that I could set up both of the couches for them.
I think while I was setting up the couch I fell asleep cause next thing I knew there was a knock on the door.
I get up and go to the door to see Cody and Corey. Corey was basically sleeping on Cody.
"Can you help me?" Cody asked holding out what I was guess was both of their bags.
I take them and put them by the couch.
"Well I set up most of the stuff for you." I say pointing to what I did before I fell asleep.

"Thanks for this." Cody says as he basically throws Corey onto one of the couches.
"It's no problem." I say.
I started to walk away when my hand was grabbed and pulled back. I turn around and I'm facing Cody.
We both lean in to kiss but was interrupted by Corey.
"Where am I?" Corey said as he got up from the couch.
"You're at my house Corey." I say as I pulled away from Cody.
"Well I better go back to bed. Goodnight you two." I say as I walk away.
"Goodnight." They both said in unison.
I walk back to my room and fell right back asleep as soon as my head hit my pillow.

The Sea of Destiny
[Let me be straight with you. This is trash, like old dime store novel trash. Don't expect grandiose writing, anything profound, or much beyond being free of spelling errors. Like my profile says, it’s hopefully like a salty snack, decent and satisfying for people looking for this kind of thing (at least that's my hope). It is simple, weird, and most likely growing in ridiculousness as it rapidly escalates.] Michael just wants to get away after a rough breakup. He figures some time alone cruising on a sick jet ski will help clear his head. After a small series of mishaps he winds up as humanities last hope adrift at sea after nuclear devastation destroys the mainland. Will he be able to solve the mystery of the bowl of the ancients before nuclear winter freezes over his dwindling food supply? Who are these mysterious women he keeps meeting, and will he even care about the talents they bring to the table, or will he be too focused on how they keep ruining his carefully laid plans for survival at sea? Read this cheesy short story to see for yourself, and discover the true mystery behind the hand of fate.

Blood Blue
Mayevil is a renowned assassin who is known to complete any mission without fault. A hybrid that is ostracized by each of her respective halves. To her peers, she is an enigma as distant as she is powerful, a person they cannot hope to understand or relate to. Yet, while this is how they see her, the reality is that she is simply confused. Without a greater sense of purpose, her day-to-day life repeats itself over and over again. In the hope that she will eventually find joy or meaning, she continues, without so much as understanding why, as much as why not. Encountering noble vampires, powerful martial artists, and haughty mages all the while, her journey will prove to be a difficult one. This story is inspired by the works of Kinoku Nasu, and various martial arts-oriented stories such as Kengan Ashura and The Raid. Expect a mix of magic, comedy and fight scenes, with a sprawling fantastical world. As a side note, while the story starts off relatively tame, there may be some less than wholesome things that happen later on, so do be warned! Hello! The Angle of Death and other Mathemagical Hazards
A series of tangentially interconnected vignettes featuring typos and puns used as if they were intentional, mostly in a tongue-in-check fashion. Just a fast funny set of quirky mini-tales. Warning. Readers will be pun-ished. Thoroughly. Also may involve math, science, grammar, irrational, whole, imaginary, and other scary words. Reader indiscretion is advised.
