After getting Elehna fed, and bathed my mother helped her to bed. She was exhausted, and honestly I couldn't blame her. She'd been through a lot, and being raised to believe your human didn't help her cause. I walked into the living room where I was met by Isaiah, and Jeremiah. "What?" I asked, my hand twitching as I saw their smiling faces.

"You lucked out." Isaiah said with a smug grin, explaining when I gave him a questioning stare. "You worried that you wouldn't be able to claim her because she was human. Turn's out she wasn't human like we all thought. She's a wolf."

"And, because she's a wolf, she'll feel the bond more than she would have being a human. She won't be able to resist you for long." Jeremiah finished happily.

I shook my head, schooling my features even though I was grinning on the inside at the thought. "Maybe, it's not unheard of for wolves to reject their mates. We don't know what she'll do, and honestly I won't pressure her."

"We didn't say you had to pressure her. The bond will do it's work. All you have to do is be around her." Jeremiah said.

I rubbed my jaw, sighing. "I'm confident that Elehna will come around. I don't want to use the bond against her. She's still new to our ways, still new to the concept of mates. I would feel as if I was taking advantage of her if I used the bond." I admitted, even if for a split second I considered it, I would have felt guilty after. "I want Elehna to come to me and accept me because she wants me, not because the bond is making it difficult for her to resist. Do you understand?" I hoped I was making sense, but who knows I wasn't even sure of what I was trying to say.

I frowned watching as Jeremiah and Isaiah shared a look. "We understand. And, we respect you for it. The easiest thing would be to use the bond, but you just can't do things the easy way. It's what makes you a great Alpha." Isaiah said so seriously that I fought the urge to fidget. We'd always been close, always knew that we loved each other, but hearing the affection and seeing it was different.

My gaze jerked around as I heard the door open behind me, my heart racing as I watched my mother step into the room. "How is she?" I asked, glancing to the door behind her.

"She's fine, tired of course. Poor girl could hardly change her cloths." my mother said. "But, don't worry Zach. After a good rest she'll be feeling much better. What are you planning to do?" My mother suddenly asked. "Are you going to tell her exactly what her roll is here in the pack?"

My eyes widened, and I smacked my hand over my face. "I didn't even think about it. I can't tell her yet, I want her to accept me for myself, for us before I tell her that she's Luna to an entire pack."

I felt my mother's comforting hand, and she smiled. "I'm proud of you son. Your doing the right thing. I know she'll accept you, because who wouldn't. You are brave, strong, responsible and I know that you love her already." I felt my face begin to burn and coughed to cover it up. "See, you proved me right. Spend time with her, teach her our ways and I'm sure that things will be as they should be."

I nodded, and suddenly felt uncomfortable with everyone talking about my love life. Thankfully my father seen more sense and decided I didn't need the lecture's. "I'm going to bed now, as should you all. Good night." I said quickly and basically ran away from the family talk. I could hear Isaiah and Jeremiah crackling with laughter after I left and took a deep breath. Damn my mother for making feel like that in front of my brother's. I'll never hear the end of it now.
