Isaiah led me to the parking lot where we stood for five minutes in complete silence as we waiting for Jeremiah, when he returned we piled into Isaiah's car and drove back to their place. I was about to get out of the car when Jeremiah's voice stopped me, "our parents are here. I just wanted you to know so you weren't shocked."
My eyes widened as I realized exactly what this meant. Oh my gosh, were they going to think I was a bad influence on their son's? I was mainly responsible for them ditching school, did the principle call them? Apparently my panic was all over my face or maybe I said it out loud, because Jeremiah suddenly got out and pulled my door opened, "don't worry about it. They already know, and their okay."
I nodded slowly and got out, I could feel someone watching me and turned. My eyes widened and my heart did this funny beat when I seen Zachariah standing on the porch, his stance wide, arms crossed over his chest and his face unreadable. In that moment, I felt partially intimidated, but also... I couldn't stop my mind from thinking that he looked down right sexy. I bite my lip, and winced when my teeth caught the cut I'd caused Saturday. Suddenly Zachariah was in front of me, his eyes full of concern and that's when I realized he must have seen me wince. "Are you okay?" His voice was just as deep as I remembered.
I began to nod, but froze half way through probably making myself look weird. I didn't want to lie anymore. But, I didn't want to talk to them about this in front of their parents. I opened my mouth, then closed it. I was confused as to how to start this. I closed my eyes, and took a deep breath trying to build up my almost non-existent courage. When I opened my eyes again, I looked around noticing it empty and realized that Isaiah, and Jeremiah had disappeared, leaving me by myself, alone with Zachariah. Stunned I looked up to Zachariah, a lump forming in my throat when I seen the sudden fury on his face. His blue eyes darker than I remembered, and his nose flared. "I-I..."

Zachariah reached out, and out of habit I flinched from his touch. I watched a flash of hurt go through his eyes, then watched as they softened. "I wont hurt you Elehna, never would I hurt you." He said, and I knew, even without knowing him, but a day that he was telling me the truth.
I nodded, taking a shaky breath as his hand touched my cheek so lightly it felt like a feather was brushing against my skin. I looked into Zachariah's eyes, even though they were trained on my cheek and was overwhelmed by the emotions that I seen. Sadness, pain, anger.. "Who Elehna? Please, for your safety and my peace of mind, tell me who?" His eyes snapped back to mine.
For a moment I was speechless, his jaw set with determination and I cleared my throat. I had to tell someone... I had too or else he was really going to kill me one day... "M-my father." I whispered, and instantly I felt the tears falling once again.

My heart broke into pieces as I watched the tears fall from Elehna's eyes. I never wanted my mate to cry, or to feel sadness. And finding out that it was her father who was hurting her only seemed to make this sadness deeper. I now understood why she'd reacted the way she had. I reached up slowly, careful not to spook her with my movements and wiped the tears away. "Come inside, you should rest." I said gently, even though on the inside I was wanting blood. "You can stay here for as long as you like, and we'll deal with things as they go." I promised, wanting it to be clear.
She looked past me to the house, and shook her head. "Y-your parents are in there. A-and I can't p-possibly intrude.. I'd be bringing nothing, but trouble. Isaiah and Jeremiah should have just left me at school.. It was a mistake to come here.." She suddenly began to panic.

I grabbed her shoulders gently, pulling her to my chest. My body instantly came alive when I wrapped my arms around her. I heard her gasp and felt her body flinch and instantly let go. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, are you okay?" I asked, fearing that I scared her. I looked down at her noticing that her eyes were closed tightly.
"I'm okay.. I'm okay.." She whispered.
"Elehna, they will help, and they are very nice you will love them just as much as they will love you.." I assured her, slowly coaxing her forward. After a few hesitant steps, she walked beside me, and I slowly grabbed her hand. "You aren't a burden, and whatever problems that come up we will handle them, so for now you need to worry about yourself." I didn't want to push anything onto her, not right now, but I also wanted her to know that I was there, that she wasn't alone in this. I mentally smiled when she just squeezed my hand. Walking into the house, and straight to the living room, I wasn't surprised to see my father, mother and brothers all sitting there waiting patiently.
"Mom, dad this is Elehna. Elehna my mom, Karen and my father, Michael." I introduced and watched as my mother beamed, while my father was just smiling.
"I-it's so nice to meet you. I'm sorry that the boy's ditched school because of me." Elehna instantly apologized.
I stood back as my mother stood up and walked over to her, bringing her into a tight hug. "That's alright dear." My mother said, smiling. I was smiling until I noticing Elehna's face, then I put two-and-two together and felt the fury rise without warning. "Release her!" I ordered my mother with my Alpha voice, watching as she instantly did as she was told. My father instantly stood up, pulling my mother behind him protectively. I didn't mean to use that on my mother, it was impulse. I walked towards Elehna, my anger slightly cooling as I seen how frightened she was.
