Taehyung said angrily, "Let go, I won't go." But his strength really wasn't a match for Bogum and in merely a flash, he was pulled into the car. It all happened so quickly that even the people around did not notice what had happened here.
Taehyung, who was pulled into the car, looked alarmed and said, "What do want to do?! I want to get off."
Bogum ignored him and started the car, leaving the school with Taehyung.
Bogum who sat in the driver's seat, said, "What do you like to eat?"
Taehyung pursed his lips and didn't speak.
Bogum couldn't get an answer and he said, "I know a nice family restaurant, let's just eat that."
"What on earth do you want to do?" Taehyung appeared to be a little angry. "Doing this is breaking the law——"
Bogum said, "What law have I broken?"
Taehyung: "... I don't want to eat with you!"
Bogum smiled and said, "But I want to eat with you."
Taehyung's entire face swelled up making him look like a squirrel. Bogum looked at his face and his smile became stronger. He said, "You're almost eighteen years old. You still need to have your father's consent to eat with friends?"
Taehyung murmured, "But Dad won't be happy."
Bogum laughed and said, "Is that so, I actually think that your father doesn't have that much interest in watching over you."
Taehyung: "You're speaking nonsense!" Although he was refuting him, Taehyung himself wasn't confident. Jungkook was going to get married soon. He would have his own family and children and Taehyung might need to leave the family after he turns 18 years old.
Between him and Jungkook, there is already no connection.
The entire way, Bogum chatted with Taehyung. But nearly all the sentences that he spoke were like concealed jabs at Taehyung's confidence. As said before, Bogum is a person who adores beautiful things. After becoming an adult, this characteristic became even more pronounced.

The Taehyung who was like a porcelain doll from when he was little had left a deep impression in his mind. What is unattainable is always the most desirable. This impression made Bogum able to recognize the high schooler Taehyung with just a glance.
Compared to his cuteness as a child, Taehyung was even more beautiful now.
The youthful body wasn't fully developed yet, his skin fair and white, his brows delicate, a sort of purity that belonged to those ignorant of worldly affairs exuded from his body. But when he blinked those long eyelashes and looked at him, Bogum couldn't inhibit the strong interest in Taehyung that arose. Interest in every kind of sense.
Arriving at the destination, Taehyung was pulled off the car by Bogum. Wearing his school uniform and carrying his school bag, Taehyung was like a square peg in round holes and didn't fit in.
Bogum pulled Taehyung into the private room before letting go of him. When he let go, Taehyung had a loop of distinct bruises on his wrist.
Bogum saw it and said, "Sorry, I didn't mean it."
Taehyung: "......"
Then Bogum began to order the dishes. In fact, his character could be seen from how he ordered, for from start to finish, he never asked Taehyung what he wanted to eat.
Fortunately, Taehyung wasn't a picky eater and ate everything. Bogum said, "The boiled cabbage here is pretty good, you'll like it.
Taehyung didn't speak.
Bogum said lazily, "Talk to me, yeah? If by chance you make me happy, I'll let you go."
Taehyung still responded to Bogum's words and said, "I have nothing to talk about to you."
Bogum said with all smiles, "How do you know that there is nothing to talk about to me? Don't be so tense, I won't do anything to you. Just suddenly seeing a former schoolmate made me want to talk to you, that's all."

Taehyung looked hesitant, "Really?"
Bogum is like a fox slowly tempting a small animal out of their cave. His expression and manner were all seemingly gentle and only the coldness in the deepest part of his eyes revealed his true colours. He said slowly, "Of course it's true."
Taehyung said somewhat sullenly, "Even so you can't just randomly drag me away."
Bogum saw that Taehyung's attitude had softened and said with a laugh, "Isn't it because you're always hiding from me? I'm not hounding you for your money nor are you a girl. Or could it be that I'll do something to you?"
He made a sigh of relief and muttered, "You should have said so earlier, my wrists have practically turned blue."
Bogum's eyes skimmed over Taehyung's wrist. Who knew what he thought of but he exposed a somewhat subtle smile.
Then the two began to chat idly. From their chat, Taehyung learned that Bogum had gone abroad immediately after primary school and had only returned home two years ago.
In the face of Bogum's probing, Taehyung was very calm——What in his life is worth talking about? Every day it was just school and home, it was even more boring than the average student's life.
As a result, what happened next was something Taehyung had absolutely never expected. Bogum had obviously come prepared and after listening to Taehyung's dull narrative, he asked, "You've never wanted to try out a new way of life?"
Taehyung: "......" A seventeen-year-old boy, one who had lived through his adolescence with great restraint, would they not wish for a new life? The question of Taehyung's simply hit the nail on the head. Taehyung put on a somewhat ignorant face and stuttered, "But....Dad won't be happy."
Bogum said, "Why will your father be unhappy?"
Taehyung had wanted to say that his dad forbade him from coming home late, but then suddenly remembered that it seems like Jungkook had stopped managing him for a long time now.
Taehyung: "......"
Bogum observed Taehyung's look and said thoughtfully, "In fact, your father probably isn't all that strict." Taehyung was like a punctured balloon, the entire person paralyzed.
Bogum saw him hang his head and somehow thought of a spiritless rabbit. He wanted to reach out and rub Taehyung's head but resisted the impulse and said, "You're going to be an adult soon, still sticking to your father that closely, is it not odd?"
Taehyung pursed his lips and said, "I don't need you to manage my affairs."
And so Taehyung didn't give Bogum a response and instead murmured, "It's late, I want to go home."
Then Bogum happily said, "Okay." Unexpectedly not making things difficult for Taehyung.
At first, Taehyung had thought that Bogum had found his conscience. As a result, in but a few days, he discovered that Bogum, this tool, wanted to use a long line to catch a big fish.
For Bogum began to find him from time to time to go out and play.
At first, it was once a week, but later on, it became more frequent. Taehyung was annoyed but didn't dare rip open Bogum's face either.
Taehyung was very accurate with reading people. He could clearly perceive that if he gets Bogum angry, the one to suffer would be himself. After all, there is no Jungkook to protect him now.
