"I see the shadows long beneath the mountain top

I'm not afraid when the rain won't stop

'Cause you light the way

You light the way, you light the way

-Jessie J

The rest of the day was going by extremely slow no matter how much training she did. Apollo was busy helping the other Gods prepare for the ceremony and so, she was left to her own devices.

"I wonder how you're going to fare at the Challenges." She turned around to see Aphrodite, her father's wife, and scowled. For such a pretty woman, she had an ugly personality.

"With my luck, maybe you'll challenge me and I can wipe that smug smile off your pretty face." TJ taunted back.

TJ wasn't the type to hold anything back, she didn't like Aphrodite at all and didn't feel the need to sugar coat anything. For all she care, Aphrodite can go fuck herself.

"And be Queen of the Amazons? Why would I want such a pathetic title? I'm already the goddess of love and beauty." She boasted. TJ knew that she was trying to get under her skin and as much as she wanted to, she couldn't kill an immortal.

"What are you doing here Aphrodite? Don't you have men to seduce?" The Goddess's eyes blazed with fury and TJ smirked when she knew she hit a nerve, the Goddess was easy to bait.

"I can't wait till someone kills you and then everyone can stop talking about how special you are."

"Jealously looks very ugly on you."

The Goddess huffed and walked away. If she could, she would pluck each individual hair from the goddess's head and beat her bloody. Aphrodite was jealous, that much was obvious, but she didn't know why. Aphrodite was an immortal Goddess while TJ was a lowly human, nothing to be jealous of. This was the main reason why she mainly had guys for friends, women were annoying to be around sometimes.

"It is such a shame that your fate is tied to another." She rolled her eyes, she didn't even have to turn around to know who it was.

Dionysus

He normally stayed in the somewhere on the other side of the palace, but TJ knew that he loved coming over here to annoy her.

"What do you want Dionysus?" She wasn't in the mood for games, no matter how easy on the eyes he was.

"Nothing my dear, I just wanted to wish you luck on your battles. If you win we could share a bed." He smirked.

"Not in your lifetime."

"Good thing I'm immortal."

"Sam!" Emily's voice cried in a panic.

Sam and the pack immediately ran towards his house to Emily.

"What's wrong?" Sam asked.

Emily said nothing, just pointed to a flickering dagger that was stabbed over top of the doorway.

"I got everyone a gift!"

It was her second to last day before she had to leave, everyone was in a depressed mood. She handed the box to Sam and Emily.

"What are we going to do with a dagger? We're wolves TJ." Sam said with a look of confusion.

The dagger itself was beautiful, the handle was gold and had intricate patterns craved into it and into the blade.

"It's a special dagger, look."

She took the dagger and cut her palm. She held her bloody palm over the dagger and let a few drops of blood drip onto it. The dagger blade began to glow red.

"It reacts to my life force, when it glows, you know I'm okay."

"And when it stops glowing?" Leah asked.

Everyone was silent

"I thought it would give you guys some peace of mind while I'm away."

TJ was in danger
