"Be my friend, hold me

Wrap me up, enfold me

I am small and needy

Warm me up and breathe me"

-Sia

They didn't have technology or any of the advancements that they had back home so she wasn't sure how much time had passed since she's been here. She was sitting in her bed when she heard a knock at the door.

"Come in."

She was surprised to see the God of War come in and not Apollo. In the few days that she's been there, she only talked to Apollo and his twin sister Artemis.

"What's up?" He gave her a confused look and looked up at the sky, clearly her slang was ahead of their time. "I mean, what are you doing here?"

"I just came to see you." Her eyes of perception didn't miss the way his eyes quickly darted to the right, God or not, that was a telltale sign of a lie. "So you know you're Amazonion, right?" She nodded and motioned with her head for him to get to the point. "Well-..."

The door swung open and a short, blonde haired, hazel eyed woman came rushing in, tackling TJ with great force.

"Oh my goddess, I'm so happy that you're here. You're as beautiful as I'd always thought you'd be. Ares, look at her!" The strange woman exclaimed. She was bouncing around like she was hyped up on redbull.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Harmonia and this is Ares, we're your parents!"

She looked between the both of them, feeling stupid for not making the connection between the three of them. She had her fathers dark hair and skin tone and her mother's soft features and eye color. All her life she had been wanting to meet her biological parents up until she turned 12. That was the year that she didn't care about them anymore and realized that Veronica and Thomas Marks were her parents. The only thing she cared about now, was figuring out what she was and now that she knew, these people didn't mean anything to her.

"Get out."

Harmonia's face dropped and she studied her daughters now hard facial features. She was angry and Harmonia understood, she was 19 and just meeting her parents, it was a lot to take in. Ares looked at his daughter too and could feel her temper, a temper that was the same as his own. They both looked at their daughter for a few more seconds and then left.

How dare they think the can waltz in and claim to be her parents after they left her!

She screamed into her pillow and punched it a few times until she realized that she was actually grateful to them, if it wasn't for them leaving her, she would've never of met Veronica and Thomas which means she would've never met Paul either.

Her heart clenched, there wasn't a day that went by that she didn't think of him. She wondered how he was doing, if he missed her as much as she missed him.

She put her face back into her pillow and sobbed

Sobbed for a life without Paul

A life that brought her to her birth parents

A life without everyone she's come to love

And most importantly, she sobbed for herself

Paul woke up feeling like the hole in his heart got larger. It was a void that only TJ could fill, but she was dead, and she was never coming back. He was a shell of himself, never laughing, never smiling, just existing. Barely existing.

He missed her more than she could imagine. He got out of bed, unable to fall back asleep, and just stared outside looking at the moon. TJ loved to star gaze, and while he didn't care much for it, he was always happy to do it with her.

Now he only wondered if she was able to star gaze in heaven.

"So you keep having dreams of her?" Carlisle asked as he shined his pen light in Paul's eye.

Normally, he wouldn't even think of being in the same room with a bloodsucker, but he was desperate.

He nodded, "It's strange, every time I dream, the dreams feel so real, it's like I can feel what she feels."

"Any other side effects?" Paul shook his head.

"I think you just have a broken heart, if I were you, I'd talk to your Elders, maybe they can give you an explanation. I'm sorry I couldn't be of help."

Paul said nothing and left the Cullen home.

Whatever was going on with him, he secretly hoped that it would continue. It made him feel whole again, almost as if she were still alive. He would hold onto that hope until his last dying breath.
