"Broken up deep inside

But you won't get to see

The tears I cry

Behind these hazel eyes"

-Kelly Clarkson

"Are you out of your mind?" Sam yelled when Bella had finally left.

TJ had been listening to him yell at Jacob about dropping hints to what they were to Bella for the past 30 minutes and it was giving TJ a headache. "She's with the Cold Ones, why don't you understand that?"

"Lay off Sam, she was bound to figure it out anyways. Jacob, go home." She said as she stared at Sam. Jacob looked between the two and quickly left, saying a silent thank you to TJ.

"Who do you think you are? He needs to know the consequences of his actions."

TJ could tell he was on the verge of shifting but she couldn't find it in herself to care. He was completely overreacting to something that was already said and done with. And yet he still paced the floor looking at TJ like she was his prey.

"He knows what he did was wrong Sam, he was just trying to make her understand that he wasn't leaving her to be selfish. There's no need to be such a dick!"

He stopped his pacing and she could see the veins in his neck begin to bulge as he glared at her. "What are you even doing here? You're not even apart of this pack!"

"Fuck you Sam Uley, if it wasn't for me you probably would've killed Emily!"

At the mention of his imprints name and what he did to her, all Sam saw was red. He wasn't even thinking when he slammed TJ into the coffee table, making it break under her weight.

"Sam!" Emily screamed from the kitchen, Sam turned his attention to her on instinct.

TJ took his momentary distraction to grab him and throw him through the front door. She stormed outside to see that Sam had shifted and was barring his teeth at her. They jumped at each other and she punched him in the stomach. His back hit a tree and it split on impact. He whined in pain and pushed the thoughts of his pack mates out of his head.

"That all you got mutt?" TJ taunted.

He jumped back up on all fours and attacked her again, this time he managed to swipe his paw at her, leaving a bloody claw mark on her stomach. She barely registered the pain as she punched him in the snout.

"Guys, stop! Someone help!" Emily yelled but the two could barely register her words, they were both infuriated with each other.

Every time he tried to bite or claw her she dodged it but he wasn't so lucky. She grabbed her bow and arrow off the porch and aimed at him.

"TJ, no!"

The distraction managed to throw her off course and when she let the arrow go it sailed through the air and glowed white. It struck a tree and set it on fire. She ran towards the tree and when she let out a huff to catch her breath, large gusts of wind flew out of her mouth, exhausting the flames. Her eyes widened.

What the hell?

"TJ?"

When she turned around the whole pack was looking at her, surrounding Sam's wolf form as he laid unconscious. Emily was crying as she held Sam.

"I'm sorry, I-..." She took a step towards them and started to tear up when she saw that they were all afraid of her. "Paul?" He looked at her with the same fear in his eyes and then looked away from her.

"I think you should go Trinity." Emily mumbled but TJ could easily hear her.

She took one last look at them in despair before she ran away.

She had never felt as alone as she did when she ran away from her other family. Her ex family.

They casted her away, discarding her like a piece of trash. After all that she's done for them, they turned their backs on her so easily. She didn't even mean to hurt Sam, she was just so lost in the moment.

She was there for each of their shifts and the one time she needed someone to be there for her, they sent her away.

It felt as if a hole had formed in her chest, leaving her unable to breathe. She tried to suck in some air, but it wasn't working. Her body responded to lack of air and she could see black spots in her vision.

Suddenly, the back of her neck began to burn and she dropped to her knees. She felt her body fall to the ground, but before she could hit it, someone caught her.

"It's time." A man said, his voice sounding like he was underwater.

All she saw was blue eyes staring back at her before she fell unconscious.
