Bella Swan had a knack for getting herself into the most dangerous of situations, it's the main reason why TJ thought it wasn't a good idea to go to Jacob's house. In Bella's vulnerable state, the fact that Jacob left her wasn't going to sit well with Bella.

TJ could feel the rage coming off Bella in waves when she and the pack arrived at Jacob's house. One thing that TJ was sure about, Bella found out the pack's secret.

Bella stomped right over to Sam, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?" She screamed.

Jared, Paul and Embry flanked their Alpha while TJ stood back, it was about to get ugly.

"Bella, go home-..."

"No, not until you tell me what you did to him!" Angry tears flowed down her cheeks. "He never wanted this! Tell me what you did!"

"Watch yourself leech lover." Paul snapped, quick to defend his Alpha.

"Easy Paul, don't be stupid." Sam growled out.

Bella had finally realized that TJ was there and directed her anger to her as well. "And what about you? Did you know Trinity? Is that why you're always with them? This whole time, I thought we were friends and you were keeping things from me?"

Each question had TJ wincing, she never meant to hurt Bella, it just wasn't her secret to tell. Paul saw the hurt on his imprint's face and used half of his body to block her from Bella's screams.

"Don't talk to her like that, leave her out of this!" He yelled. No one yells at his imprint. "What did lover boy tell you?" He sneered, getting the attention off TJ who looked like she was frozen in time.

"Nothing! He won't tell me anything because of you all! Because you threatened him!"

Paul and Jared laughed and in that moment, Bell snapped, she pulls back her fist and punches Paul in the face. He looks at her with a murderous glare and starts violently shaking.

"Too late now." Jared mocked.

Sam pulls TJ back, there was nothing TJ could do to stop him from phasing. "Paul calm down!" But he knew it was too late.

The next thing Bella knows, in Paul's place, stood a massive wolf.

"BELLA!" Someone screamed.

TJ looked to see Jacob jumping over his porch and rushing over to them, pure anger in his eyes.

"JACOB! NO!" Bella yelled.

Jacob jumps up in the air and shifts into his russet brown wolf, his eyes locked on Paul to kill. Before Jacob could even think about attacking Paul, TJ jumped in front of Paul and attacked Jacob head on.

Bella watched in horror as TJ landed a massive blow to Jacob's side, sending him into a huge rock. Paul growled as Jacob's paw slashed her chest in retaliation.

How could TJ even be able to hold her own against him?

What was she?

TJ jumped at him and right when she was about to strike, Jacob moved out of the way and her fist hit the ground, creating a massive crater.

When TJ was about to charge at him again, Paul took over and attacked Jacob. They circled each other, biting and clawing at each other until they faded into the woods.

"You okay?" Sam asked TJ. She looked down at her ruined sweater and bloody chest.

TJ looked over at Bella who was still in disbelief.

"Take her to my house, I'll be there soon." Sam said and jogged after the two.

TJ nodded and walked to her friend.

"What the hell is going on?" Bella mumbled.

"Come on, we'll explain in a bit."

"Oh my goodness, TJ!" Emily exclaimed when they walked into the house.

"I'm fine Em, it's just a scratch."

Emily rolled her eyes and gestured for the girl to sit down while she ran down the hall to get a first aid kit.

When she came back, she cut away the rest of the sweater, leaving TJ in her bra and examined her injury which was three claw marks going diagonally from the top her right shoulder to her sternum.

"So you're the vampire girl?" Emily asked when Bella, Jared and Embry walked in the door.

"And you're... the wolf girl."

TJ snorted at her lame comeback and Emily scowled before going back to tend to her wounds. "No, just engaged to one."

"You alright TJ?" Bella asked, her wound looked pretty bad. Even though she was still partially angry at her friend, she was still concerned for her well being.

"Yeah, nothing I can't handle." Wincing when Emily out alcohol against it. "How are you," she gestured in the air, "dealing with all this?"

"Leave it to Jacob to find a way around Sam's gag order." Emily joked.

"He didn't tell me anything, he tried but-..."

"It's a wolf thing," Embry says. "Alpha's orders get obeyed whether we want them or not. And we can hear each other's thoughts!"

"Dude, shut up! You're giving away valuable information." Jared yelled.

Sam comes through the doors and goes straight to Emily, kissing her affectionately.

"Gross, I'm right here!" TJ gags, though she's used to their PDA by now.

"Fuck TJ, I'm so sorry!" Jacob says and he and Paul walk into the room. Paul glares at him and makes his way to his imprint, kissing her forehead.

"You shouldn't have jumped in front of me." He mumbled, his lips against her forehead still.

She waved him off, "I'm fine."

"So are you a wolf too TJ?" Bella asked and the whole room got quiet.

"No. I don't actually know what I am, my parents said I've been like this all my life." She started. "I'm obviously adopted, and I've been trying to figure it out since I was young. I accidentally broke a kids arm when I lived in my hometown and we had to move. But my parents were scared that someone was going to come after me so they told me to keep a low profile."

"And that's why you never talked to anyone in school? Because you were afraid you'd hurt them?" Jared pieced together. TJ nodded.

At least it all made sense now.

She felt bad about lying to everybody about what she was, but she wanted to be sure that Carlisle's information was correct. Plus, the more people that knew about her secret, the more people that would be in danger.
