"Welcome to the dark side, we have cookies." Jared busted out laughing. "No but seriously though, Emily makes the best cookies ever." TJ said to Embry Call who had just shifted. "Hey, I remember you, didn't you dump your lunch on me in school?" TJ recalled as they walked through the forest. Her memory was shit but that was definitely something she'd remember forever.

Embry blushed at the memory, of course that's why she would remember him. He had to be thankful though because TJ was rumored to be an ice queen all throughout the school until her senior year. So he was grateful that she even remembered him at all.

"Y-yeah, sorry about that." He rubbed the back of his neck, a nervous habit of his.

"Don't worry about it." She smiled.

It seemed as if LaPush high was wrong, their ex ice queen did have a heart, she just didn't have it on display for everyone to see.

She walked through the brush and emerged thorough the forest line to see her boyfriend waiting on Sam's porch impatiently. When his brown orbs met hers he took off into a spring towards her and picked her up, spinning her. Lately, Sam hasn't been putting them on the same patrol because he said it was too distracting for Paul and because she was busy helping Embry. Sam had her on babysitting duty to watch for Embry as he had finally shifted.

Last week, he was going to shift right in front of his mother if TJ hadn't gotten there in time. Sam calmed him down in his wolf form, fixing his past mistake so he wouldn't hurt TJ like Jared did.

It took Embry a week and a few days out of school and away from everyone to get through the change. Due to this, she hasn't gotten a chance to spend as much time with Bella as she wanted to. Their time together was too far and too few in between but she's been so busy lately that whenever she does have down time, all she wanted to do was sleep.

"How's Bella?" She asked from her place on Paul's lap as she ate her lunch.

"Not good, she's really depressed." Embry said. Before he shifted, he, Quil and Jacob had been hanging out with Bella.

It had been a few months since Edward left and TJ felt guilty at how much she had been neglecting her friend.

"Jacob has been over there a lot to help her." She could tell that he was sad that he couldn't talk to his best friend, but what Sam says, goes.

Though she couldn't hang out with Bella as much as she liked, she still made sure to keep an eye on her. While on patrol she passed by Jacob's house to see that he and Bella had been fixing up old motorcycles for some reason. Putting Isabella Swan on a motorcycle was a dumb idea in general. But the unhinged Swan swore that by doing dangerous things, it would invoke an image of Edward. She shuttered at the thought of the lengths Bella would go through.

"You okay Princess?" Paul whispered in her ear, feeling her shutter. She nodded and he kissed her neck.

She loved how in tune they were, maybe it was the imprint but they always seemed to know what the other was thinking and sometimes even finished each other sentences. TJ almost gagged at how pathetic that actually sounded.

"Let's go cliff diving!" Jared said once everyone finished eating.

"Is that TJ?" Bella asked as she and Jacob drove passed First Beach.

Jacob looked at the cliff and saw Sam, Jared, Paul and TJ laughing.

"Yeah, her and the cult." They watched as Sam jumped off the cliff.

"Oh my god." Bella pulled to the side of the road and jumped out of her truck. "She's going to get hurt."

"She's fine." She watched TJ jump from the cliff in her blue bikini and Paul looking at her with a proud smile on his face before he jumped after her. "They're cliff diving, scary as hell but a total rush. Most of us jump from the lower cliffs so we leave the showing off to Sam and his disciples."

"Do you not like them? I hang out with TJ and she's one of my closest friends."

"She might be cool, but the others, not so much. Now Embry has joined them."

Bella looked over in shock to see Embry who had muscles and a tattoo like everyone else. She couldn't believe that that was the same Embry that was wresting in Jacob's garage not too long ago.

"What happened?"

"He missed some school and then came back looking like the rest of them, following Sam around like a puppy, same with Paul and Jared."

"And TJ?" The girl didn't talk too much about her relationship with the rest of them besides Paul.

"No idea, there's a rumor going around that she was friends with Sam before any of them. But Sam keeps giving me this look like he's waiting for me or something, it's starting to freak me out."

"Maybe you should avoid them and he'll leave you alone."

"I try. Come on, let's get out of here."
